I AM A PASTOR
BUT
I DO NOT SEE THAT IT IS WRONG TO HAVE AN ICE COLD BEER
NOW
WHAT WOULD COULD THAT LEAD TO...?

IN MY MIND
LETS SAY I AM HAVING AN ICE COLD REFRESHING BEER THAT I FIND NO GUILT IN
AND YOU COME ALONG AND SEE ME
AND YOU SAY TO YOURSELF
HMMMM, HOW CAN THIS MAN BE OF GOD AND DRINK A BEER AFTER PREACHING AGAINST SIN...?
AND AS RESULT
YOU WALK AWAY FROM GOD AND LOSE YOUR SALVATION

MY QUESTION THEN WOULD BE
WHAT DID I ACCOMPLISH BY DRINKING THAT BEER THAT I THOUGHT HAD NO CONDEMNATION TO...?

IF WE WERE TO QUESTION EVERY ACTION WE DO
MAYBE
THOSE AROUND US WOULD ACTUALLY SEE US LIKE THE TESTIMONY WE TRY TO PORTRAY

They drank wine in the bible. It was for relaxing, calming and stress. Says not to get drunk. I see no harm in it. But to be a stumbling block for someone, it turns into a thin line.

If drinking was a sin, would Jesus really have turned water into wine to serve to guests who had already had much to drink? Scriptures actually recommend drinking under certain circumstances, but we are not supposed to allow it to get the better of us, and sobriety is the ideal. It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or to do anything else that will cause your brother or sister to fall. Romans 14:21

i dont think its worth kicking yourself over if you get drunk every so often. Noah got drunk and he was a biblical patriarch.
