How much do we accomplish with disparaging the ministries of others?
There is a particular pastor that regularly makes sermons disparaging the ministry of others. Osteen is one of his favorites.
There's something amiss in a pastor that would do that with regularity.
In the case of Osteen, he's not a minister. He's a Humanist. His weekly conferences are held in a former sports arena that he was able to purchase and convert for meetings of that nature. He is not a pastor of the Gospel. He is a Humanist who's focus is creative visualization and prosperity affirmation. His god is mammon.
When a man does not preach the Gospel of Christ they are not a preacher. As we know, anyone can claim to be a preacher. The liars are found out by those guided by the truth of Christ.
How much can we accomplish for the Kingdom of God when we share the love of Christ?
Does the parent that scolds their child for running headlong into the street without looking both ways first not love their child? Does the husband that is upset his wife let her car insurance lapse not love her as he speaks sternly concerning her illegal driving?
Does God not love us becasue he gave us rules to follow so that we may be righteous and upright in this world where Satan is lord?
What good in saving souls is a Humanist who thinks speaking about the tenets of the Gospel is beating people down?
How are people able to find their way to repentance when someone standing before 30 thousand people never once talks about repentance?
Is it love to let people die in their sins because they as new arrivals to a 30 thousand seat arena have no idea what sin, repentance, redemption, salvation, are prior to arrival. Nor after the lecture is over? If that person goes out onto the nearest interstate and dies in a fatal car crash did they die saved by Humanism and prosperity lecturing?
Or did they simply die in their sins?
Is it love to let people go into damnation because calling out false preachers seems unkind?
