I was told, "Now, the children of Israel, while they were in the wilderness, were disobedient, and by their disobedience Salvation was gained by the world."

That sounds like what some call replacement theology? It would seem that as many as the father gave to the Son will come. It has nothing to do with Hebrew flesh and blood and their disobedience. But does have to do with the obedience of the Son of God slain from the foundation of the world.

You have converted my report of something I was told into a controversy.

It has been given to my understanding, had the Children of Israel been perfect, the nations would have all been left out of the true Israel to perish in their wickedness.

It has been given me to understand that not only are all who believe Jesus Christ the Israel of God, but this also includes those who are Israel by blood…...

No one is replacing Israel, however God is demonstrating just who the true citizens of the Israel of God are, that is, all who believe god, the Jew first ant then the Greek.

Would you leave any people out because of their worldly bloodline? That is not the plan our Father has.

Melchizedek has no beginning or ending(not to be taken literally as he was a king and priest of Salem whose lineage can not be found). The priests under the Law came through the tribe of Levi. Jesus could not come as a Levitical priest, seeing he came through Judah.

The Melchizedekian priesthood is a higher order in that it has no beginning and ending. Jesus’ priesthood has no beginning or ending. Melchizedek was an allegory of Jesus’ priesthood.

Sorry did not mean to offend you if I did.

And I would offer its not about the literal blood . Blood and water are used I believe to represent the unseen Spirit of Christ . The Son of man Jesus said of his own flesh and blood; it profits for nothing .It is the unseen Spirit that does quicken our soul giving us His understanding.

While the life of the flesh is in the blood that life is spirit life or no life.

Interesting verse (the Jew first and then the Greek. )seeing God is no respecter of persons . I wonder does the last will be first apply? It seems to be a theme woven into scripture?

Perhaps if one examines the translation of Yahudah he will learn what a Jew truly is, as described by Paul in Romans.

When Leah was delivered a man child, she declared, now I will praise Yahweh. Jew is from Yahudah (Judah). It means to praise Yahweh, or I will praise Yahweh (God).

All who praise God are Jews by translation. Yes, we have Hebrew roots, but all too many intelligent believers think this means we must go back to the first Israel, instead of going forward to the New Jerusalem of God, the city of our Issrael, with nothing but praisers of God dwelling within,
the Jew first and then the Greek.

We are told that Christ is the Great High Priest after the order of Melchizedek. What is the order of Melchizedek?
Gen 18:1 And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;
Gen 18:2 And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground.

Gen 18:22 And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.

Gen 14:18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.
Gen 14:19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:
Gen 14:20 And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

Psa 110:4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

Heb 7:1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
Heb 7:2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;
Heb 7:3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.

Heb 7:17 For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

God appeared in a human body to Abraham with 2 of His angels, in which God would test Sodom and Gomorrah by how they treated the 2 men to see if there was any righteous there, but the men surrounded Lot's house, and wanted Lot to bring out the men so they could have sex with them, but Lot offered his daughters to them instead, but they insisted that Lot bring out the 2 men, which the whole city surrounded the house, and not one of them cried out, men let us not do this wicked deed, but all were in one accord either wanting to do the act, or in support if it, and God knew that there was no righteous there.

And God appeared in a human body to Abraham as Melchizedek who was both King, and Priest, who was without descent having neither mother or father, and no beginning of days, and no end of life, and Jesus is God in a human body that is eternal and a King, and Priest.

But Melchizedek was a temporary manifestation of God for He made a body from the dust of the earth, and then the body went back to dust, where Jesus is a permanent manifestation of God, and He glorified the body of the man Christ Jesus and sits on the throne in heaven, for it is the throne of God and the Lamb, the visible relationship to the saints forever.

Melchizedek is before the Levitical priesthood, for they were still in the loins of Abraham, and Jesus came from the tribe of Judah, and Jesus is made after the order of Melchizedek, so the priesthood changed to one that is eternal, and not of the Levitical priesthood.
