Please explain the paragraph that I highlighted in red ? ? ?

NO, only Born Again Christians are Saved.

YOUR THEOLOGY IS FLAWED.

In the Parable of the Gates, THERE ARE NOBODY MENTIONED THAT DOES NOT THINK HE IS A CHRISTIAN. But the MANY entered the Wrong Gate, on the WIDE EASY ROAD, which ONLY knows about Jesus, the same kind of Faith that Demons have. They were DECEIVED with False Doctrine and a False Gospel, into going through the WRONG GATE, and that Road Leads to Hades/HELL. WHY?

Because they only knew ABOUT HIM, and THEY DID NOT REALLY KNOW HIM INTIMATELY AND PERSONALLY!

Matthew 7:13-23 (HCSB)
13 Enter through the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the road is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who go through it.
14 How narrow is the gate and difficult the road that leads to life, and few find it.
15 “Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravaging wolves.
16 You’ll recognize them by their fruit. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes or figs from thistles?
17 In the same way, every good tree produces good fruit, but a bad tree produces bad fruit.
18 A good tree can’t produce bad fruit; neither can a bad tree produce good fruit.
19 Every tree that doesn’t produce good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
20
So you’ll recognize them by their fruit.
21 Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but ⌊only⌋ the one who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22 On that day
many will say to Me, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in Your name, drive out demons in Your name, and do many miracles in Your name?’
23 Then I will announce to them,
‘I never knew you! Depart from Me, you lawbreakers!’

That is a Specific Reference to the BORN AGAIN relationship to JESUS CHRIST, when the Holy Spirit Births your dead human spirit into ETERNAL LIFE, and HE WILL NEVER LEAVE US.

JUST LIKE THERE IS A RIGHT GATE AND A WRONG GATE; SO IS THERE A RIGHT SIDE OF THE FENCE AND A WRONG SIDE OF THE FENCE.
why is the 4 words "I never knew you" bolded and enlarged in red at the biggest size? what's going on?

afraid of works?

given what I see here, dcon is working hard, giving his 110% to swing the sword, I'm having a hard time thinking up a bigger contradiction than the idea that dcon is afraid of works
The funny thing is I do not brag or boast of what I do because it is the LORD that does the works through us as a living sacrifice...he alone gets all the glory nor do I have an aversion to doing works or good....just an aversion to those who interject self into that which has already been taken care of by Christ

for since we are surrounded by a great cloud of witness (probably chanting "V C O", "V C O", as in "fight, fight, fight") let us throw off every weight (including all the false gospels we hear about) and the sin of deception that so easily entangle us.

And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus <-- and I love to use hand motions to help me mesmerize this verse if you an imagine. (running motion with arms, and both straight open hands pointing at a direction as if to tell myself to "focus")

...
he endured the cross, scorning its shame

3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
Hebrews 12:1-3

may we be encouraged, and fun facts: the professor who witnessed to me at my college kept showing me Hebrews 12:1-3 and I start to "get the pattern", an encouraging verse to memorize

Please explain the paragraph that I highlighted in red ? ? ? It makes no sense to me.

I just replaced those parenthesis with question marks, since I'm starting to see that I don't really understand what it means, help clarify what it means, and I'll learn the correct interpretation.

would you be more than happy to correct my flawed interpretation?

Your right! may we not take the Holy Spirit for granted, the Holy Spirit does help us understand the bible

or else, it's "spiritually discerned"

anytime we understand the bible, thank the Holy Spirit
God really love us :giggle:

Your human spirit is growing leaps and bounds, KEEP IT UP.

1 Corinthians 2:5-16 (NIV)
5 so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power.
6 We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.
7 No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began.
8 None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
9 However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"--
10 but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
11 For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
12 We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.
13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.
14 The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man's judgment:
16 "For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ.

one of the things i have learned from swordfighting:
  • strength overcomes
  • skill can overcome strength
  • speed can overcome skill
know what you're doing, and always be ready to do it, to do it quickly - 'instant in season and out of season' ;)
swinging at the right time and at the right place is more important than swinging hard.

Q: whats the difference between the Bible and "Ripley's believe it or not"?

both are true, even though it challenge our ability to believe

the only difference: the Bible is spiritually discerned and "Ripley's believe it or not" can be understood without spirtual discernment

it is probably no coincidence that out of all the prayer request in the prayer request forums

spiritual warfare is what I'm most eager to pray about the most.

@posthuman, your the science guy, what are some weakness in evolution, before those secular scientist intimidate us with their technicalities that can make us feel ignorant if we try to refute them.

You must wait at least 1 seconds before performing this action. <-- cc.com error message, may we be glad that salvation is quicker than that, amen

is it weird that kenosis-preaching-dude hit 'like' on this verse, seeing that God explicitly tells us here the fullness of deity dwells bodily in Christ ?
Had to look that word up....

ke·no·sis
/kəˈnōsəs/Submit
noun
(in Christian theology) the renunciation of the divine nature, at least in part, by Christ in the Incarnation.

why is the 4 words "I never knew you" bolded and enlarged in red at the biggest size? what's going on?

That is my way of EMPHASIZING the Part of the verse that I consider to be the MOST IMPORTANT. That was on a Post to GodsGrace101
and in His Post wanted to criticize me for wanting to infer that NOT EVERYONE WHO CLAIMS TO BE A CHRISTIAN, REALLY IS. So I took Him to Parable of the GATES. The NARROW GATE has everything to do with KNOWING JESUS intimately and personally with a LOVING Relationship, and is the BORN AGAIN Experience. So I emphasized it to show him the DIFFERENCE between those who entered the NARROW GATE, compared to those who entered the Broad Gate, where MANY go in that GATE leading to DESTRUCTION. ONLY THOSE WHO ENTER THE NARROW GATE ARE THOSE WHO ARE BORN AGAIN. Yes, I absolutely believe ONLY those who THINK they are Christians are pictured in the Parable of the GATES, YET, only a few actually enter the Narrow Gate.

It fits perfectly as an explanation for the many that some people want to insist that they LOST THERE SALVATION. NO, they were NEVER SAVED IN THE FIRST PLACE, because they Entered the WRONG GATE. Here are those who ENTERED THE WRONG GATE.

1 John 2:19 (NIV)
19 They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.

They are the SAME ones that had the Soil in their Hearts full of Rocks and Thorns. They Never Had that Personal, Intimate, LOVING relationship with JESUS CHRIST, that we Call Born Again. I believe that when the Rapture happens, THEY WILL BE SHOCKED THAT THEY ARE LEFT BEHIND. Yes, some may become Tribulation Saints, but MANY will become EMBITTERED TOWARDS GOD.

Matthew 24:39-42 (NIV)
39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.
41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.
42 "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.

Luke 17:33-35 (NIV)
33 Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.
34 I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left.
35 Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left.

See the first half of verse 33, that COULD BE a reference to those who are WORKING to KEEP their SALVATION.
However, I am not sure on that tho.

Evolution is fine the problem is aethist scientist ignorantly trying to use bad science to refute the Bible and ignorant Christians (some who still think the earth is the center of the universe and the sun goes around it and the earth is flat) claiming that the Bible says things it doesn't.

I may not be the smartest person in the world but I believe in natural selection and true evolutionary theory. This coming from a Bible believing Christian who reads the Bible from Genesis to Revelation at least yearly and a former high school science teacher.
