Despite the warnings in the NT false teachers men and women have entered the Church and gathered untold numbers of followers throughout the world and many indigenous clones have resulted particularly in Africa where people like Benny Hinn and Reinhard Bonnke have so much influence aided by such things as TBN and such. These false teachers can only increase when the nominal Christian bereft of any solid grounding in the Bible are taken in by nothing more than showmanship and popularity and those that take a stand to combat these phonies are shouted down as being judgmental and dividing the Church, to do nothing is a Sin as we are instructed to expose these evildoers and contend for the faith, who agrees with me.
We are told to be ready to give an answer to anyone who asks us of the hope that is within us, not to go out and attack them.

Part I - We Are Wise In Our Own Eyes

Introduction - We Don't Really Believe What The Bible Says,
We say we believe that our Bible is the inerrant word of God. We say that we read His word and implicitly believe what it says.
The truth is that we do not.
The truth is, that for the most part these are mere words, and we believe none of these things. Because if we did actually take the Word of God seriously, we would stop glossing over passages like this one.
  • But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,
Paul used the word some. Jesus however, went a lot further and told us that many would be led astray, and few would find the narrow road.
  • "At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. "Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. "Because lawlessness is increased, most people's love will grow cold. "But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. (Matthew 24:10-13)
"Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it. (Matthew 7:13-14)
Since one has to be on the right path before one can be led astray, Jesus had to be speaking about believers. Yet, these words do not see to give us any pause for thought. How often do we look around and wonder who the "many" being led astray are?
Do we not have the sense to wonder how it is possible that only a few find the way when Christianity is apparently booming with dozens of mega-churches, countless Christian institutions, and literally thousands of 'Christian' books being published ever year and an equal number of 'Christian' articles available online. To say nothing of fact that the vast majority of Christians are churchgoers and may regularly watch 'Christian' TV.
What can account for the discrepancy between what appears to be a relatively stable/spiritually prosperous church, and what the Bible says about many falling away. Did Jesus and Paul have absolutely no idea what they were talking about, or has the situation done this marvelous turn around since they spoke which, by the way, would make both of them false prophets.
Or is the problem that it is us who are are wise in our own eyes and clever in our own sight - something that Isaiah warned about. (5:21). In other words,

Your run on sentence is just too much, especially with the typos.
What difference does it make? You haven't ever hit the wrong key and post something before having a chance to go over the rough draft?

I'm certain you got the point of my post, and are fully aware that other Scriptures contradict your misusage of 2 texts.
In your opinion, and like I said if you would provide what precept(s) I wrote violated the doctrine of Christ I would be more than happy to response to your assertion, otherwise if a person doesn't know what the doctrine of Christ is simply the indication that there is no substance to their accusation.

If you don't get this, you really need to get some help in Bible study. Start with 2 Timothy 2:15 and memorize it. Then read through the Bible at least twice per year in addition to receiving study help from someone sound in the faith.
If you really believe that walking with the LORD can lead a righteous man to become greedy an corrupt as your response indicated then obviously you might consider verse 6 in Psalms 11: The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.

What difference does it make?
Like the difference between comprehending and not? I thought that was obvious. I mean, it's obvious, isn't it?

Sure I've made a typo here and there, but not an entire post of typos, run-on sentences and codswallop.

And as to your show you proof and you'd be willing to "response" <sic>? Come on man! Seriously? Jeremiah 13:23 fits this occasion.

You're not here to learn anything or accept that you make erroneous statements. At least stop being disingenuous and go full throttle in your path of error?

So walking with God can lead a righteous man into becoming greedy and corrupt? I must have it backwards then.
Hey! Z... PTL!
Or its more like beginning a work of service sincerely, then the finances barley support and spirits more evil than any before attack to keep the focus off of Jesus and onto the ministry's needs. The brethren of today do not support with prayer. And those who would share the gospel stumble, just as James tells us that we all do in many ways.
Or they preach Christ from envy, strife, and of contention without sincerity. Either way Paul rejoices that the gospel is preached whether in pretense or in truth; (Phil 1: 15-18).
The anointing of the Lord's presence comes upon those of us who are walking in the Spirit in service to either the lost or the brethren out of love as doers of the word by faith and not because they happen to believe in doctrines that are more accurate than any one else's. Just a thought...
