The spiritualizing the Old Testament Israel to be about gospel or about the church is not "equally ridiculous", because its what the New Testament authors did, its what the first Church did, its what the church for milleania did.

You are the one going the other way, the rabbinical, fleshy, judaistic, sionistic, modern, political, wordly or how do you wish to call it way, not me.
To prove your point to Quantrill and others, it would be helpful to provide Scriptures that teach that the OT descendants of Isaac are done for, and that Israel is now the Church, the True or new Israel.

They have tried. They use verses which speak of the abrahamic covenant concerning in you shall ALL the nations be blessed (ie all nations are 1 including Isreal and all gentle nations) to attempt to prove God is done with the national promise to the nation of Isreal (Which are nation specifit, and God called eternal)

They can not seem to seperate the two.

This is again another example where why cant it be BOTH, why does it have to be one?

You know?

All those in Christ are Abraham's seed. YES, Amen. Bible teaches that. Jew or Gentile dont matter. Amen.

But why cant ALSO the promises made to Israel in the OT be true, and still fulfilled? I dont get that. Why are they MUTUALLY exclusive for some reason?

Hey! Churinga... PTL!
Lu 21: 24-36, vs 24 "And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the gentiles, until the times of the gentiles be fulfilled." Vs 28 "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth neigh." Vs 32 "Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled."

In all of recorded history; no race, tribe, nation, or people have kept their national or ethnic identity for more than 500 years after being mingled into a larger people; except one, Israel. Then, almost 2000 years later, just as Jesus prophesied, Israel regains Jerusalem. What greater proof is there that the Lord is moving according to his promises to the Jewish forefathers, to show his power in the earth on behalf of his people for all to see as he prepares them to remove their ungodliness from them. Its almost time for the church to assume its role as the true kings and priests for mortal humanity as Jesus ascends to King David's throne. Let us begin our ministry as such with the prayer of faith for the peace of Jerusalem and for the Lord to give our brethren life that sin not unto death as our redemption draws ever nearer.
Maranatha!
Jesus ascended Davids throne at his ascension as seen by Daniel and predicted by Jesus at his trial before the Sanhedrin.
Israel is part of last day prophesy but it is being prepared for judgement not peace. For further information read the OT
in particular Gods message to Israel through Moses in Deuteronomy. Which path detailed there do you think Israel followed
and are still following today?

Make it clear that the USA is Israel's ally and will always help defend her against any threats/attacks. God says clearly 'I will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel' Gen 12:3. Amen.
it says no such thing- you dispensationalist types have expropriated the blessings to Abraham and attempted to give to whom it was never intended:

Gen 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Hosea 1:11
And the children of Judah and the children of Israel shall be gathered together, and they shall appoint themselves one head, and shall go up out of the land; for great shall be the day of Jezreel.

Yet if we look at other prophesies, and even Moses words, God will not forget his promise to Israel Even when they are scattered because of her sin (like she is today) and one day, When Israel repents. He will remember his promises to her fathers, and he will remembere the land. And he will keep his promises. Because they were eternal promises.

Why is everyone afraid of Israel repenting as a nation? Is that a bad thing?

Its nothing to do with Israel repenting. Its to do with Prophecy and scripture. Only a remnant will be saved. the idea that being Jewish alone gives you a passport to heaven is a false teaching. Apart from that many do not have any desire to return to Israel let alone return to God and believe in Christ as their Messiah and Savior.

Who said being Jewish alone is a passport to heaven?

The true Israelite is the Jew who believes. Not the Jew who doesn't.

1. I never said it was a passport to heaven
2. The bible says at the PRESENT TIME there is a remnant, But there will be a time when ALL will be saved
3. Just because they have no desire today does nto mean they wil have no desire tomorrow.

4. It has everything to do with repenting. God told Isreal through moses if they repent, He will remember the land.. Sadly this offends some people that God will keep his eternal promise..

So you say that there is a true state of israel, but founded by and composed of false Jews?

I do not understand you much, you seem to be inconsistent.

The world will deserve its judgment of the Great Tribulation when the time comes, just as it did in the time of Noah. Jesus will return as Israel's Messiah, with a sword in his mouth and everyone who has not repented by then, will be consumed while they are yet standing. Jesus will then assume King David's throne with the church as immortal king/priests at his side. Those that survived the tribulation, will live out their lives, raising their children in a time where men will learn war no more and where the lion will be at peace along with the rest of the world. Then all will be saved for a time, sadly, for not all men have faith.

People seem to have lost sight of this key part of Gods promise to Abraham.
