I hope that you will enjoy your time and experience here.
Lots of amazingly honest, and gracious, sometimes outspoken and opinionated - but always loving, caring and giving of advice for those who are seeking prayer, friendship, support or just a break from their daily routine...
I'm not sure how you came to find or why you have sought out to join a CHRISTIAN FORUM - although I do see that you predominantly post on the 'Singles Forum.' If you are here in hopes of heightening your spiritual awareness or meeting a nice Christian man who might help you in your faith and finding yourself along your journey with our lord - than I pray that you find what you are looking for. But I suspect that you should be for warned that this is not a 'singles-dating-forum.'
While I'm certain that you were either unaware nor unintentionally set out to offend anyone; just a friendly piece of advice - you might want to consider before posting comments that are seemingly 'judgemental and/or potentially hurtful or offensive' that a large portion of Christian members of this forum have found their way here as a means of helping themselves with their own personal struggles, or demons when they are at their lowest... This Christian Chat forum serves as a coping mechanism for lots of people.
So, while you thought it might be fun to poke some fun on a topic that seemingly looked to be loaded with harmless humor... Unfortunately, the timing of your comments/assumptions are not so good... Tommy was and remains well liked in this community, as another soul in search of christian faith and support and likely struggling and coping thru his own personal struggles... and I suspect that the fact that he posted this topic in particular was merely a possible indication of his need - to reach out for help - for acceptance as a lonely person with a loving good humored soul - secretly desiring not to be limited nor judged merely based upon his physical appearance.
As christians it is not our place to judge others - that place is solely beholden upon our lord...

Yes you did, and you seem very proud of that... hmm... even after this thread was growing dormant...
There does not appear to be any relevant correlation or connection between these two items...
Based merely upon the number and ratio of favorable 'likes', 'agrees', 'friendly', 'happy', and 'Funny' responses that he received for the duration of time he was on CC relative to the number of unfavorable 'dislikes' - one can deduce that he was very well liked because of his humor 'levity', and common-sense approach he brought within this forum...
So the most christian-like thing to do - is simply to not make assumptions, not take it personal - nor to make any personal judgements... and pray that all our christian friends within the CC forum continue to receive God's blessings...

I could be wrong about this, so the mods can feel free to correct me of course, but I've noticed something about this new system when it comes to bannings.
I know Oncefallen said that there would be a line drawn through the name if someone is banned--maybe I've missed it--but I have yet to see this.
What I have noticed though, is that not long ago we had two gentlemen posting what was seen as highly controversial opinions here in Singles and then suddenly, both members went silent. It could only be assumed that they were banned, because up until then they were answering any post made on their threads within a millisecond.
In the new system, if you click on someone's profile, it might say something like, "This member limits who can view their profile", which is a setting the user chooses.
But if you click on someone's profile (it will appear like normal in the threads, avatar and all) and it says something like, "This profile is not available," this means that the administration has made this restriction and presumably, that person has been banned.

The last time I had checked, I hadn't noticed a line through Tommy's name (just the notice that "This profile is not available), but maybe I missed it.

Ok, maybe I'm misunderstanding, but when I go to the first page of this thread, Tommy's avatar is there like normal, and there's no line through it?
Or maybe that's just how it appears in my system?
