The natural man described in 1 Cor 2:14 has no faith in spiritual things. Faith is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit and spiritual faith comes with regeneration.(Eph 2:5). Believing, repenting, accepting Jesus, confessing etc. only comes after regeneration.
Your right again.

Thats why GOD SENT THE HS TO TEACH THE WORLD HIS GOSPEL. So they HAVE NO EXCUSE.

Your ignoring the fact it is God who promised to do all these things.. There are many examples in the bible of God doing this very thing, even Jesus himself came to people and through questions forced them to make a decision to say yes God, or No God..

For by grace are ye saved "Through faith". Whose faith? The faith "OF" Jesus (Gal 4:16). Our faith delivers us here on earth, but not eternally.
We live the Christian life and are kept saved by the faith "OF" Jesus (Galatians 2:20).

And yes, you have become our enemy for your "truth" . . . which is accursed . . . Galatians 1:6-10).

God's word is spiritual and yet, Satan can understand God's word. How? Does Satan have the Holy Spirit dwelling in him? Of course not.

What do you mean by Jesus has no faith in you and his faith is not why you are saved?
He said I was saved by Jesus faith. Not mine..

Jesus has no faith in me, It is MY FAITH IN HIM which saves me..

Eph tells us we have been made aive (by Grace we have been saved) then how that regeneration and salvation accured (For By Grace I have been saved (made alive) By grace through faith. It is not my faith in myself which saves me, it is my faith in God..

Thats why The HS is sent, to help ALL men understand. (Thus they have no excuse) This why God is still God, His soverignty is still intact, (His will is STILL accomplished) and his LOVE is proven beyond all measure

Otherwise, he is just a respector of persons.. who CLAIMS he is a god of love, but in reality is not..
What you have said is true. What you do not understand, is that, The Holy Spirit is given to indwell a person in regeneration, not before regeneration. The Holy Spirit was not sent to help "ALL" men.

. . . because he rejected spiritual things when he had the opportunity . . . but he said 'no' to God too many times and has come to worship the creature more than the Creator.
You need to let 1 Cor 2:14 soak in. The natural man "CANNOT" discern spiritual things and would naturally reject them.

The HS is given to those who are adopted by God, those who are justified (declaired innocent) by God, and given the righteousness of Christ (imputed righteousness) By God. Because they chose to stop trusting in self. And humbled themselves to the point of the cross and called out on the name of God to have mercy on them through repentance (they were like the tax collector. Not the pharisee)

God gave Adam and Eve a choice afte rthe fall. They had to chose

He Gave haggar a choice after she left. She had to chose

He gave Abraham a choice, He too had to chose

He gave the woman at the well the choice, She had to chose

He gave peter and his disciples a choice, They had to chose.

All of them had to look at things unseen, And place their hope in God in order to trust God and chose right.. If they had NO ABILIT to chose, God would never as them those questions he asked. Giving them a choice.

Abraham could have said no

Adam and eve could have kept blame shifting and never recieved Gods provision

Haggar could have kept walking to Egypt and probably died wiht her son

Peter and the otherw could have left with the rest who did not believe.

I like Peters answer, because it talks about true faith, “Where are we going to go, YOU HAVE THE WORDS OF ETERNAL LIFE, He di dnot understand what it meant, But he chose to continue to follow God (the truth was not rvealed to him until AFTER jesus rose)

Your faith in God will deliver (save) you here on earth, but not eternally. You have to rightly divide the salvation (deliverance) scriptures.

He was not a 'natural man' in the earlier stages of his life, he became one when he began to worship nature. Just as I could not claim to be a 'spiritual man' until after I received Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour, and then only after I began to let the Holy Spirit control my life. For the most part in the early years I was a 'carnal' man at best.

Dude, If I am not saved eternally. Nothing here on earth matters.

what good if I have the greatest life on earth, but spend eternity in hell. It was no good at all. Even if I live to 90 years. 90 years compaired to eternity is nt even a blink of an eye.. so what good is it?

I was justified by Faith

I was saved by Faith

Just like Abraham was saved by Faith,

Faith means I have trusted God and have assurance what he says is true..

When will you trust God? And stop thinking your better than your neighbor?

Our mutual faith of God that dwells in us comes from God .Not towards God (upside down) .He must do the first works and reveal what we are required to believe. In John six Jesus when asked what works the disciple must do... Jesus said; "it is the work of the father working in you that we can believe" . The same work that worked in the Son of man as the food the disciples at first knew not of.

No work of the father, no believing God.

If we have the power as faith to believe God according to that work of His faith or labor of His love. It is the power of regeneration as new creatures given a new spirt that will never die but will be raised on the last day. What we are in respect to this creation is not what we will be. .

Formally having no faith(none) or power to believe God. His faith as a work needed for us to believe Him not seen is in us but never reckoned as of us

In that way no man can serve two masters

2 Corinthians 4:7But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Yes, It is the work of God WE BELIEVE.

It is not Gods faith, It is our own.

It is HIS WILL, that whoever sees and believes shall never perish but has eternal life Shall never die, Has past from death to life and will be risen on the last day. Oh, And he will never lose any of them.

God has given mankind a free choice to choose how he wants to live his life here on earth, but his eternal choice was made by God's grace, without the help of man. None of us have the ability to discern spiritual things, or make spiritual choices (1 Cor 2:14) until we have been regenerated and given the Holy Spirit.(Eph 2:5). When we are given the Holy Spirit it gives us the ability to start to discern spiritual things. We began, once we obtain faith, to increase that faith by coming to a knowledge of the truth gradually and that is why the early saints and the apostles did not understand fully until the comforter (Holy Ghost) was given after Christ had ascended.

Yeah yeah, We have been over this to many times already.

You refuse to listen to me, or anyone else. Who have told you numerous times it is GOD who helps those people understand so they can make a choice.

So Go ahead and believe what you want, I think it is obvious no one here, no matter how much proof they show you will be able to convince you otherwise.

You want to think your more special than others. Feel free.

But do not get mad when we refuse to place ourselves above any other person, living or dead

False.

Utterly false.

The context is eternal salvation as per Ephesians 1.

You're dismissing context for your Primitive Baptist theology. In other words first comes your indoctrination, i.e. your time salvation heresy that you learned from other PB's, then you misinterpret Scripture.

The salvation in Ephesians here referred to is that of eternal life, not some on earth only salvation you continue to peddle. Ephesians 1 is that starting point and the context feeds off of this. That makes your view erroneous. Maybe if you "lose yourself" and your PB theology you'll see this, but, highly doubtful.

We are all born into this world spiritually dead.(1 Cor 2:14). We remain in this state of being until God regenerates us and gives us the Holy Spirit.(Eph 2:5). You were regenerated before you received Jesus as your Saviour or had the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

No

We remain in this state until that whihc makes us dead (the penalty of sin) is removed.

This is called justification.

Once we are justified, We are regenerated.
