No such thing as " accepting Christ " . That misunderstanding grows out of a false understanding of Faith and faithing .
With a correct understanding of Faith and faithing , Christ does the accepting .
It is expected that you will faithfully read the Bible and let God show you what he wants of you. As a New Testament believer, if you want to know what God expects us from us is to allow the Apostle to the Gentiles (which is us) to be our teacher through the Holy Spirit.
To that end I believe a new Christian should major on the epistles from Romans to Philemon. The other books have more of a Jewish bent toward them. I didn't say Revelation because that should follow the reading of the epistles a few times in order to set a foundation.
It is also good to read Psalms and Proverbs (a chapter proverbs a day).
Let me rephrase the question. Know that God accepted you . What is ur role?No such thing as " accepting Christ " . That misunderstanding grows out of a false understanding of Faith and faithing .
With a correct understanding of Faith and faithing , Christ does the accepting .

When you bring a proposal and ur future wife accept you wht is her responsibility?I believe it is perfectly acceptable to accept Christ as Saviour. I am not a God-limiting Calvinist.
But to carry Calvinism out to it's illogical conclusion - if God accepted you then you have nothing to do - God will ordain all of it, including those times you slip on the ice and fall down.
Does it make sense .
When you bring a proposal and ur future wife accept you wht is her responsibility?
If we re siting there thinking If God accepted me thts it we re lost. We have to build a relationship with God, building a relationship with God is talking to him, praying studying his word. We have to worship him, Give thanks in form of praise and worship, confessing our sins, praying for others and living a holy life. If we think just because we say God is our savior and thts it then we re lost. I magine you tell someone you love them but you ever disobeying them and you do nothing to please them or to show tht love. Does it make sense . Even those that walked with christ read th bible and see what they did
You will find that the ending of each of Paul's epistles give instructions to Christians on how they are to live. Romans 12:1-2 is a good starting point. Now that you are a new creation that you accepted Christ. what is it that is expected from you as a christian/

His strange new doctrine was exposed for what it is on this thread . . . one that he wishes would just go away.
No such thing as "faithing"You can't even handle what true pisteuo is , so how will you handle Rom. 10:17 being compared to a courtroom hearing . Ya , that what is says in the Strongs .
So answer this , who's on trial , God and His word , or us and our Faith ?
Are we the ones judging God or is He the ones judging us and our surrendered life ?
Because your understanding of Faith and faithing are backwards , everything else is also backwards . It isn't your fault for just seeking after what's been put in front of you ( even though it's a mistranslation ) . But now , that the correct understanding is put right in front of you , and you reject it ? That's on you and also an act of Faith , it's apisteuo in the Greek , faithing away from God , the reverse action . No " believing " in the Greek texts , we are either continually surrendering our lives to God , ( pisteuo ) faithing towards Him , or everything else ( apisteuo ) faithing away from God .
Is that how you would translate it?
I thought hell is so hot, even ashes would burnAnytime a young believer posts a question you can bet that the cultists are going to show up in order to snatch God's fruit. I don't think hell is hot enough.
