What is so difficult in keeping the 10 Commandments that you seem to think it cant be done. Zecarias and Elisabeth were blameless inall the commandments and the ordinances which are not a part of the commandments.Lets see you shall have no other gods before Him, no images, shall not take Gods name in vain and the test commandment for most You have to keep the Sabbath, the day God rested and sanctified,
,
now- love toward man honor your father and mother
dont kill

dont commit adultery
dont steal
dont bear false witness
dont covet
which one of those do you not want to keep?

If you were not able to love perfectly In your own strength then why would GOD tell you to keep the ten commandments?

I desire to keep all of them but In thinking that I can keep them I'm just deceiving myself because of the weakness of my flesh.

Paul wrote,I delight In the law of GOD after the Inward man but I see another law In my flesh warring against the law of my mind and bringing me Into captivity to the law of sin which Is In my flesh.

I'm saying you can't keep the law perfectly and anyone that thinks they can are just deceiving themself.

The bible says sin is knowing the good you ought to do and choosing not to do it.

!

Where do you get that idea? we are not and cannot be righteous in our own strength, it is only thru Christ in us that we can be righteous and that is always subject to slipping and sinning and then going to God for forgiveness thru Christs shed blood. That forgiveness is not a one time thing, it is there for us thru out our life if we stay true to God! That is Grace!
Much much better.:)

Just know that you do desire to obey God and ask for His help ! When you ask, seek and knock HE answers. Paul concluded that
passage in what the translators put as the next chapter, its thru Christ that we overcome and grow and it is usually a struggle ! We still have human nature to overcome.

Thats the way I felt when I was called 63 yrs ago, I knew I was weak (and still am) but I had to try, I knew too much, I couldnt quit! So I told that to God and said it would take Him to help me,I had to have His power to make it! I am still struggling at times but havent quit yet! So hang on ,read the Psalms where David gets down and in dire strates at times but shows how God pulled him out of it, God was his help in time of trouble, his shield ,his rock and fortress. Encouraging scriptures!
No you are a human being and you will fail but when that happens look at it and repent, go to God for forgiveness thru Christ and get at it again ! Never quit!

(Rom. 14:22-23) "Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth. And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin."

Anytime a person Is trying to keep the Ten Commandments that GOD gave to Moses to give to the children of Israel they have fallen from grace back Into the merit system and no one can merit grace,so then how can a person be under grace and law?

The question is this how do we know things are sins how do we know and acknowledge that thing is a sin? Remember you're a believer in Christ therefore use the word of God as your direction what gives us the knowledge of sin? And if you realize what is sin the second question is will you do it and continue to do sin? Christ is your grace but Grace is given for a reason to live a holy life unto God, knowing this do we trample his grace?

yes,but would you In your own strength be able to love?
Good question but first let's dissect the word Love , know the understanding of Love according to the English dictionary terms of how we understand things but let's look at the biblical view of the word love and the biblical view is the way we must perceive things , yet as believers in Jesus that is the Christ we have a whole different Outlook let me open this up with a question that will open the doors 2 answers , what is the love of Christ ?

A person Understands what sin Is when they have broken GODs law and recognizing that they can’t measure up to GODs perfect standard of righteousness

They realize that only GOD can help them and nothing they do on their own will be acceptable to GOD but now that JESUS has truly paid for sin satisfying the demand of the law for us,grace has been made available to whomsoever will believe In the WORD of GOD and everyone that has received this grace has been equipped by GOD and will seek to purify themselves even as they are pure.

Romans 12:1-2
King James Version(KJV)

1.)I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2.)And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Agape love.
Agape love is selfless, sacrificial, unconditional love.

But you would have to be perfectly righteous In your own strength and we all know that GOD will only accept perfect righteousness and the bible says that no one other than JESUS could be perfectly righteous ,so then how can you keep the ten commandments perfectly In your own strength?

I don't agree with the part that's underlined though.GODs promises are yes and amen.

Romans 3: 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. So the law is the school master which also is the knowledge of sin you see the entire scripture of the five books of Moses teach precept upon precept what is right in the eyes of God and what is wrong in the sight of God . Let's look at one example before we go on to the love of Christ because we have to take a concept of the apostles what they taught who they were and what form of man they were for all the apostle's have to align with Christ and I believe this is agreeable.Romans 7: 7 What shall we say then? Isthe law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. Even Paul the apostol says that the law is the knowledge of sin therefore knowing this one cannot follow a law according to the carnal man you see the precept of a commandment is very important the principle of what the commandments teaching is more important let's look at the example of Christ
Mathew 7:21-29 21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: note xref-2 [xref-1]

22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. note

23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;

24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. xref-2[xref-1]

26 Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.

27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:xref-2 [xref-1]

28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. xref-2

29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast itfrom thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. Here we find that one cannot follow a commandment without knowing the principle behind the commandant as you heard the term but the law was a schoolmaster therefore being a school master it was made for those that are unknowledgeable/ignorant like as a child a child does not have a full understanding therefore they're giving rules touch this not , don't go there because a child's mine does not have the understanding of the father therefore Jesus came to give us the understanding of the father that we may come to know him through the spirit it is not enough to follow a commandment but to learn the principle of why the commandant was there and how to avoid such sins die fighting it in the spirit

Good answer this is a couple of scriptures that help give a good insight of what the love of Christ is:
13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you. xref-1

14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. xref-1

15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. xref-2 [xref-1]

16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. xref-2

17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? xref-3

18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. Therefore brother when we see our other brothers with the lack of knowledge and we have that knowledge to give we fulfill the love of Christ and most importantly and up mostly that we live that knowledge that we passed on that the truth abide in US and by this we know that our heart is asured in him

The Concept of Sin
From the beginning of time until the present day, virtually every ethnic group in the world has had their own unique set of beliefs that help them cope with the issues of life and death.
More often than not, they have also practiced some form of appeasement of the gods. These acts of conciliation have taken many forms including, food or flower offerings, personal penance, animal sacrifices etc. The most gruesome involved the ritual human sacrifices of the Aztec, Mayan and Incan civilizations and the child sacrifices of the ancient Canaanites. Even the worst of the Roman emperors felt the need to propitiate the gods.
In other words, humans often instinctively sensed that they were accountable to a "higher being". Either they felt that had not done what that being required or expected of them and the offering was 'fire insurance' or they had a request to make.
The Bible has the definition of sin:

1 John 3:4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.

James 4:17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

Romans 14:23 But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not eat from faith; for whatever is not from faith is sin.

In order not to do sin, you must fear God (Exodus 20:20)

Fear of God means to hate evil, evil mouth and evil ways (Proverbs 8:13)
