No surprise here. The "Christians" end up celebrating someone's death. Even to the degree of mocking the person. Then proceed to defile their character. And next try to pretend they give a crap about the person. Evil and hypocritical.
Yes, you nailed it, quite shameful and unChristian. They'll be judged in the same manner as they've judged. Next you'll see them on here telling others not to judge. Unreal.

Solemateleft, do you really disagree with the facts I presented? You think his achievements will save him without the Savior Jesus Christ? If you agree, why do you keep disagreeing? lol You even disagreed with my saying he was a Skull and Bones member... why? How? I'm sort of in disbelief atm.

I see, his approval rating was so high that he won his re-election... oh wait. Furthermore, what does having the highest approval rating have to do with the fact he was a Bonesman? What does having the highest approval rating have to do with you disagreeing that his worldly accolades do absolutely NOTHING towards his salvation (only accepting Christ as our Savior can save him)?

How has someone been hypocritical on here exactly, and who on this thread is celebrating?

12 of George H.W Bush's Greatest Quotes
During George W.H Bush's presidency from 1989-1993, he worked to restore American values and make the United States a "kinder and gentler nation." He was often criticized for his lack of eloquence, but that doesn't mean he didn't have a lot to say. As we honor George Bush Sr., who died on November 30, 2018 at the age of 94, we're looking back at his most memorable quotes.

On the American Dream:
"The American Dream means giving it your all, trying your hardest, accomplishing something. And then I'd add to that, giving something back. No definition of a successful life can do anything but include serving others."

On education:
"Think about every problem, every challenge, we face. The solution to each starts with education."

On ambition:
"I was offered a job on Wall Street by my uncle. But I wanted to get out. Make-it-on-my-own kinda thing."

On American voters:
"I put confidence in the American people, in their ability to sort through what is fair and what is unfair, what is ugly and what is unugly."

On the future:
"And I do not mistrust the future. I do not fear what is ahead. For our problems are large, but our heart is larger. Our challenges are great, but our will is greater. And if our flaws are endless, God's love is truly boundless."

On freedom:
"The anchor in our world today is freedom, holding us steady in times of change, a symbol of hope to all the world."

On music:
"A good country song taps into strong undercurrents of family, faith, and patriotism."

On volunteering:
"I think the spirit of America, one American wanting to make another American's life better, or internationally our desire to see countries do better, or people in countries do better, coming from this concept of volunteerism is a very valid and important part of our internal being."

On his opinions:
"I have opinions of my own - strong opinions - but I don't always agree with them."

On gender:
"But let me tell you, this gender thing is history. You're looking at a guy who sat down with Margaret Thatcher across the table and talked about serious issues."

On his politcal views:
"I'm conservative, but I'm not a nut about it."

On life:
"In crucial things, unity. In important things, diversity. In ALL things, generosity."

People die every day and for some there is no one to even shed a tear.

God is not a respecter of persons, meaning "social status" does not mean anything to him, why should it to us?

Presidents, politicians mourn passing of former President George H.W. Bush
https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/pre...ng-president-george-hw-bush/story?id=59539113

Donald and Melania Trump

"Melania and I join with a grieving Nation to mourn the loss of former President George H.W. Bush, who passed away last night.

"Through his essential authenticity, disarming wit, and unwavering commitment to faith, family, and country, President Bush inspired generations of his fellow Americans to public service—to be, in his words, 'a thousand points of light' illuminating the greatness, hope, and opportunity of America to the world."

Bill and Hillary Clinton

"Hillary and I mourn the passing of President George H.W. Bush, and give thanks for his great long life of service, love, and friendship.

"I will be forever grateful for the friendship we formed. From the moment I met him as a young governor invited to his home in Kennebunkport, I was struck by the kindness he showed to Chelsea, by his innate and genuine decency, and by his devotion to Barbara, his children, and their growing brood."

Barack Obama

"America has lost a patriot and humble servant in George Herbert Walker Bush. While our hearts are heavy today, they are also filled with gratitude. Not merely for the years he spent as our forty-first President, but for the more than 70 years he spent in devoted service to the country he loved – from a decorated Naval aviator who nearly gave his life in World War II, to Commander-in-Chief of our Armed Forces, with plenty of posts along the way."

Dan Quayle, Bush's vice president

"As so many Americans did, I had true affection for the man George Bush. He was a completely genuine, decent and honorable person. What’s more, he went into and out of the office as absolutely the same man. I think that exemplifies his character. I have often told my children “If you want a role model in your life -- look to President George Herbert Walker Bush. The world mourns the loss of a great American. But, it also celebrates a life well lived. – Dan Quayle, 44th Vice President of the United States"

Jimmy Carter

"Rosalynn and I are saddened by the death of former President George H.W. Bush. His administration was marked by grace, civility and social conscience. Through his Points of Light initiative and other projects, he espoused a uniquely American volunteer spirit, fostering bipartisan support for citizen service and inspiring millions to embrace community volunteerism as a cherished responsibility. We again extend our heartfelt condolences to the Bush family."

Jeb Bush Jr.

"Nothing gave my Gampy more joy than service to others, especially supporting and caring for those who risk making the ultimate sacrifice everyday. His leadership taught us to be kinder and gentler, to love each other. We will miss him dearly."

George P. Bush

"My grandfather was the greatest man I ever knew. His life spanned the American Century—he fought in World War II ... took part in the Texas oil boom ... served out a distinguished career in public service including serving as president during the final days of the Cold War."

James A. Baker III, Bush's chief of staff and secretary of state

"The legacy of George H.W. Bush will be forever etched in the history of America and the world. It is a lifelong record-of selfless patriotic service o our nation. He was the youngest Navy pilot in World War II, a Texas congressman, UN ambassador, America’s first envoy to China, CIA director, vice president and president. In each and every one of these positions, he led with strength, integrity, compassion and humility -- characteristics that define a truly great man and effective leader."

Condoleezza Rice, George W. Bush's secretary of state

"President George Herbert Walker Bush was the epitome of a public servant. He loved America with all of his heart and served her as fully and completely as anyone ever has. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to work for him, to learn from him and to experience his deep and abiding commitment to his fellow citizens. He was a mentor to me and a dear friend."

U.S. Naval Air Forces

"Naval Aviation mourns the passing of our 41st President, George H.W. Bush, a Naval Aviator, statesman, and humble public servant. His legacy lives on in those who don the cloth of our great nation and in the mighty warship which bears his name, @CVN77_GHWB. May he Rest In Peace."

Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke

"I am saddened to hear of the loss of President George H W Bush. He was a hero in battle and a champion of American values. A true patriot of the highest caliber. My thoughts and prayers with the Bush family. God bless."

Apple CEO Tim Cook

"We have lost a great American. Service defined President George H.W. Bush’s life, and he taught all of us about leadership, sacrifice and decency. We send our deepest sympathies to the Bush family."

President Richard Nixon’s daughters Tricia Nixon Cox and Julie Nixon Eisenhower

"Our father believed in George H.W. Bush. Richard Nixon kicked off George Bush’s campaign for Congress in 1966, encouraged him to run for Senate in 1970, entrusted him as his U.N. Ambassador and head of the RNC, and supported him tirelessly when he served as President for four years."

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas

"Hearts are heavy as we bid farewell to President George H.W. Bush. He was a faithful servant to his country whose legacy of leadership & love of homeland became a family tradition, earned him the admiration of Americans & secured him a special place in the memory of every Texan. Over his storied career, President Bush was a war hero and a businessman, a legislator and an ambassador. His time as Vice President prepared him well for the heavy burdens of that highest office, steering our nation through the fall of the Berlin Wall and the First Gulf War. President Bush was the last of the Greatest Generation to sit in the Oval Office, but his resolve will not be lost to the past; it will triumph onward."

Al Gore, former vice president

"President George H.W. Bush served our nation with extraordinary integrity and grace. I will remember him for his personal kindness and for his love of this country. He earned bipartisan respect for speaking up and taking action for what he believed was right, even when doing so was unpopular. He inspired countless Americans to volunteer and improve their communities through his Points of Light Foundation. President Bush leaves behind an American legacy of a lifetime of service that will be revered for generations."

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas

"A friend of the world, nation & all in Texas: #GeorgeHWBush was a #pointoflife until death & we'll miss him for his firm, determined leadership & his unceasing love for God, country and family - My deepest sympathies to his family - May he rest in peace."

Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla.

"President George H.W. Bush was an American hero, a patriot and a wise and generous man. May he Rest In Peace."

Rep. Steve Scalise, R-La.

"I am incredibly saddened to hear about the passing of President George H.W. Bush. President Bush dedicated his entire life to public service, including so many different roles in elected and appointed positions."

Sarah Palin

"What a life... full of love of family... strong faith... nothing’s more important. God bless the Bush family at this sad time."

Ellen DeGeneres

"I will never forget George H.W. Bush and President Clinton meeting me in my old hometown of New Orleans to show support and raise money after Hurricane Katrina. I send my love to his family tonight."

Sadly, many people (including some Christians) think worldly achievements and approval ratings earn salvation. They are unaware and disagree with the truth that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and the redeemer of sins and it is ONLY through Him are we imperfect children of God made clean again, worthy to walk with our Heavenly Father in Heaven. The fact is, if H W Bush didn't rebuke the Satanic gods he worshipped as a Bonesman, the drawing will be nothing more than a wishful thinking.

RE: The skull-and-bones-or-not discussion
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skull_and_Bones
Wikipedia confirms (well as much as Wikipedia can) that both President Bushes were indeed members of Skull and Bones.
Also this

They were more than Skull and Bones men
Agreed, some people cannot see past a friendly, eloquent, facade sadly.
A thousand points of light was a reference to the masonic lodges across the country.
The family comes from not a good place.

What source to you have for that claim UG, generally it was thought to refer to people working in community help situations - but Trump claimed he had no clue what George meant.

That is a precious cartoon and also deeply poignant. "We waited for you." I think anyone who has lost a family member feels the emotion of those words.
Agree, I was a sobbing mess... Praying that I am able to have these kinds of genuinely loving and heavenly conversations and impacts upon my children and future grandkids. What a special man, to have had such an impact upon so many who knew him personally. Our country and the world truly have been blessed thru his service, his generosity, and his example... God bless

If I am not mistaken, Bush senior was a Bonesman (Skull and Bones society)….and all that this entails.
I do not think he is resting in peace. More likely awaiting final judgment because he chose to reject Jesus Christ and the gift of repentance.

There is zero evidence that Bush Sr. was a believing Christian.
We don't know that for sure, hopefully he repented toward the end.

When George H. W. Bush played the religion card

https://religionnews.com/2018/12/02/when-george-h-w-bush-played-the-religion-card/

"(RNS) — George H.W. Bush was not one to wear his religion on his sleeve. But to gain the Republican presidential nomination, he felt he had to.
A New England Episcopalian, Bush was raised listening to his devout mother read from the Book of Common Prayer. Like other upper class class WASPS raised in the mid-20th century, he was a regular churchgoer.

But beyond checking a denominational box and invoking the Deity on the appropriate ceremonial occasions, Bush did not make his religion part of his political life.

Until 1988, that is....

No problem. Methodically, his people had methodically taken Bush to call on leading southern pastors, whom the transplanted Yankee persuaded that yes, he too was a Christian who had been born again. ..."

Both George HW Bush and George W. Bush are on record for being "Born Again Christians"...

When a man of such honor, dignity and grace claims that he too is a born again christian - the level of public regard suggests that everyone that knew him, everyone that has served with and under him and the vast majority of this nation take him at his word...
