It is obvious you have never actually read my posts on how the law is under grace so there is no communicating with someone of your caliber

When you have learned from Jesus Christ on this subject come back and call me more of your choice names...

it is obvious I actually DO read your posts and responded to what you wrote

oh dude I have probably learned more than you can imagine

and see that is exactly what you do. YOU INSULT and try to make the faith of those who KNOW we cannot earn salvation as dog doo

you have a nerve to address others as you do.

I called you no names. I suspect a person would have to have a third impartial party present when talking to you in order for truth to be accurately represented

I truly believe the Bible was written in a certain way that one cannot just skim through and understand the message. Like when your grade school teacher asked you to read a book and toll you she would know if you only read the Cliff’s note version.

What many casual readers and some experienced readers, with blinders on, do not get is that there are 2 covenants. The first ends at Jesus death on the cross.

Jesus death and reserection changed the universe!
It is the most important event in history!
The law and it’s meeting revolves around that event!

oh now come on

those Cole's notes got me through Shakespeare!

At what point during our daily sinning do we forfeit salvation?
Jesus has it covered

it is us who run and hide like A & E...but God has covered us with the sacrifice of His Son

I do believe in confessing our sins (between us and God..we have a heavenly High Priest now) and being aware of our relationship with God...Jesus knows our weaknesses and was tempted in all ways just like like us...but without sin!

you illicit disunity in much of what you write...and again, I called you no names whatsoever

When you post anything contray to what Jesus Christ teaches, I will tell you, first with patiene, but if the error persists in calling itself truth, I must be firm……..that is tough love not nothing more nothing less.

let me help you out

you take offence when we point out YOUR error

the entire premise of these law and Sabbath keepers revolves around the false accusation that those who actually understand the Atonement somehow are devoid of obedience or love or desire to actually follow Christ

wake up

your slumber is blinding you to the truth and freedom in Jesus Christ our Lord

there is a verse in Proverbs that refers to an undeserved curse not having effect: Like a sparrow in its flitting, like a swallow in its flying, So a curse without cause does not alight. Proverbs 26:2

so for all the anger and false accusations being tossed around here by Jaume and a few others, take note. your false words have no meaning either and do nothing but point the accusing finger back at yourself. these threads are among the worst here at CC and any Christian forum

they confuse newborns in Christ and create a false dichotomy between the law and new life in Christ

can anyone work up the love of God in their hearts? how many laws must one keep in order to appear righteous in Gods' eyes? or is the desire to score with God (an insult by the way) and receive pats on the back from like minded souls the driving factor?

be assured, each Christian keeps all laws at least as well as the ones to whom it was given

Here below are just some of the things you have labeled me as with absolutwely no foundation. Your quoted material is italicized.

ever been able to do and congratulate themselves on self sanctification
just how far down your nose do you have to look to imagine you play any part in being righteous?

Supercilious and unrighteous......my righteesouness is and always will be Jesus Christ, so, take it u with Him. Nice to know you are a judge of my heart.

pray for all souls? Is it not written it is God's will that all souls be saved. Jesus came with His particular due to fulfill and He did.
to state those who actually believe that Christ was sent by God to die for us that those who believe in Him will have eternal life, believing He has removed our sins as far as the east from the west make false claims, is reckless and the self righteousness revealed in such a statement is by far, one of the worst I have seen in this forum
not bad enough you want to push the law rather than Jesus, you have to make a mockery out of the actual salvation God has given to us through His So
n

This is just a lie, and you have not read my posts. You are saying I am attempting to dissuade others from believing the mercy of Jesus Christ, a pure lie.
so you go ahead and pray...but start with your own soul which may be in jeopardy
If yu were sincere in Jesus Christ you would happily pray for my soul as I do for yorus.

no one has ever stated what you and others here try to say...which is we think we can sin all we want and still be saved

This is a lie, about me and most others, there may be some who say this, but you have no record of my having said it. You are calling me a liar here.

why is it that you cannot acknowledge the truth but would rather put forth the same old lie over and over?

Again you call me a liar, but you do not hear Jesus Christ's teaching......show me where Jesus Christ teaches teh law is obsolet, and I will show you an incorrect ranslation of the Word, for no version I read says such a thing.

Now just because you do not have the backbone to say a word the inference of callimg me a liar, self-righteous, a subverter of souls and more is tantamount to the same for they are all accusations of these naems you have no right nor creteria to base your blind allegations upon.

All I have asked and will continue to ask is for all who believe they love Jesus Chris is to hear what He teches, for if they pass one what He has not taught as from Him that is apostasy, and that is of the devil.

Now I will continue to pray for all souls, and I do thiw with the condition it be within God's will…….but why sñould I need to tell you? You don't even lesten to reason without accusing.

"Illicit" means "shady"... forbidden by law, rule, or custom.

there are no names being called in my posts. not even one. your perception of name calling would apply equally to your own posts if you consider what I stated 'name calling' you ARE a Sabbath keeper and part time law keeper and consider those of us who do not do the same, as needing prayer. that, is really congratulating yourself as superior...while disguising your reflections as concern for others. I don't buy it at all

there are folk here who when they say they will pray I take that they will pray.

prayer is humbling yourself before God. it is NOT akin to shaking pomegranates (I am sure you get the OT reference) or waving your tassels in the wind. there is only one Priest whose prayers I consider honest and most of us here know Him by the name of Jesus the Christ or even Messiah if you will

I refer only to you accusatory posts towards those who disagree with your constant attempts to undermine what is said and apparently your inability to recognize how you to post to others

you do get my dander up to be sure...but I reference your seeming self justification by following what laws you consider you need to follow in order to add to God's already perfect salvation

saying you are repeating the same lie is not calling you a liar. I refer to your the false gospel your present. I would consider telling you to read Galatians but you have already admitted some time back, that you do not consider what Paul wrote of earnest belief but rather possible consideration from the platform from which you preach

it's all good dude. we get what is going on here

More name calling. I am afraid you do not know or understand something implied is the same as saying it.

You will not admit to anything but you are constantly labeling others...Just reread your own post here…….more name calling, there is no denying it.

e.g.

doesn't this statement reveal the distinction of '
three subsets of the law' as arbitrary?
if you were doing math, and you supposed there are three classes of some set of vectors, and you found even one instance of a vector that didn't neatly fit your 3 classes, you'd have proven that the supposition of 3 classes is incorrect. smh..
the next thing that inevitably happens when you point this out is that you get accused of loving iniquity and living lawlessly.
which isn't necessarily true, at all.
I think such accusers reveal more of themselves for that and would feel no call to respond.
But that's just me.

There's an old wisdom that tells the Christian, spread the Gospel. When necessary use words.
When Jesus knelt and anointed his Disciples feet, humbling himself as an example to them in the teaching to serve others, I believe he set us all on our way. Those who walk the good news don't have to say a word.

This makes absolutely no sense when It is compared to what scripture tells us.

From the beginning, Christ was part of God, and Christ was the plan for our salvation. Christ didn't "fulfill the law". The law is given to us for our guidance and blessing. What Christ fulfilled was the plan for our salvation.

You are not the only one who speaks of grace as beginning with Christ. Grace is part of God, the OT speaks often of grace. All the plans for us is full of grace. All the covenants that God made with us are made with to express God's love for us. The last covenant promises us the Holy Spirit to guide us when people were given rituals to guide before. The old covenants are covenants of grace and the newest covenant is a covenant of grace.

Paul tried to explain that to obey the law in a legalistic way with no spirit of the Lord is not really obeying the law. It is as simple as that.

People say God of the OT is not a God of love!! When evil men ruined our world and made it unsafe for God's people to live here God gave a flood and started over. Modern humans identify with the evil men and say God was a cruel mean God for reaching down and protecting us.

People lived with no police or jails to make life safe, only neighbors to call on. God guided people so they lived without harming each other and established a sort of law enforcement. Today's people say they can't even read about it.

God gave us a large book of scripture that is very like a manual for any operation that explains in great detail just how the people and world God created works best and man has been complaining about it saying it is full of laws they don't like instead of reading it as an explanation of their selves and their world.
Well said.

It is still surprising to find hostility toward Jews when meeting people in the discussion of Christ, a Jew, and the scriptures.
I think the bias is due to the greater ignorance.
They imagine Israel = Jews only. And as a consequence for whatever personal reason they as a Christian object to anything Jewish being interrelated to anything Christian today.

Prayer would be in order so as to open the eyes that do not see. Or, refuse to. It's a lack of study I think that makes for such disorder in understanding the full import of scripture.

Why do certain people mix law and grace and teach salvation by "grace plus law, faith plus works?"
Because it is what scripture teaches. We come to God in faith and coming to God nothing we do has any merit. However once we have accepted Jesus Christ, we are to live faithfully. I remind you of what happened to the Israelites who were also promised something that did not come to pass because they did not live faithfully.
