thank you

one of the hardest things has to be guarding our hearts - we are told to do so but we don't like to think it might even mean with other believers but in the end we find that out - and yet still have, as you say, a soft heart and a desire to grow and understand and everything else

you mention balance and sometimes it feels like a 'balancing act'

I want to move past that and just not worry about how others think or feel about me as long as I can go before God honestly and He can assure me I did my best and it's ok

You know...

you make a good point. I want to be people loving not people pleasing, one is self serving the other selfless. The fixing mentality that sometimes leads me also points to self, not to Him. I recently pondered this...am I caring about how I am perceived because they are questioning the sincerity of my heart, of my character, or it is unsettling to me that ppl question the Jesus in me?

Hahaha...see how I justified my defensive reaction to a point of saying my response is noble because I am being loyal and standing up for my Lord and Savior?

Anyway, my conclusion, thus far, is this...

Stop it old woman, lol!!!! Defining who I am as a person in the eyes of others, or who I think others are in my eyes, is futile and a waste of time. Who we are, starts and ends with who we are as a children of His, PERIOD!!!

What makes anyone an awesome person is directly proportional to the One dwelling within them.

Just a closer walk with thee,
Grant it Jesus is my plea

But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption, so that, just as it is written, " Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord ."

It is my belief that there are too many Christian homes without a Christian father leading it; Ephesians 6:4. He is, in my opinion, the one responsible for this spiritual rearing and leadership.

Too many leave this all up to their wives and too many women go to church alone with their children while dad stays home.
I agree 100% that both Christian Fathers and Mothers are needed.

You are a wonderful breath of fresh air CharliRenee!

Someone that myself, and most on here can benefit from emulating.

Constantly displaying grace. NEVER a harsh word. Loving in all your posts. Amazing how someone can remain so upbeat. Both men and women can learn a lot from your Christian walk. THAT right there answers your question about the necessity of men and women interacting together on these forums.

This world and website have a thousand jaded people for every one that just simply loves people.

Thank you!
I am laughing@my saying I agree with you in my earlier reply....

I was agreeing with the value both genders centered in God, not at all the very well received kindness conveyed to me.

Ok, i better stop reading here, or I might keep going down the line and replying again to everyone. God Bless...:)

At least you show you listen to us. And value everyones opinion. Not just assume you know what they mean and frustrate everyone by misrepresenting what they said.

As brother Penn Ed Said, You are a breath of fresh air, and we thank you so much sis!!

Big grateful smiles, Bro. My intention was not to receive positive feedback, here, but if I said that I didn't appreciate it, I'd be lying, Bother...:D Thank you, I pray any and all strengths perceived points to Him and any lacking also points to needing more of Him. I also hope you all, my Brothers and Sisters, get how much you bless me and others here, that often your walks inspire others and their walks.

Lord, thank you for this Christ centered online platform to connect with family in You.

Yes, A mans mind is more single focused. A womans is wired in a way they can multitask and do many things at once.

I have heard it said God made Eve follow Adam because he knew if he gave her to much power she would be to powerfull for her own good..lol

I agree with this my friend.

I was thinking along the lines of when I grew up. Dad worked and mom ran the house. They were not Christians until later in life, but we knew about God and His Son. We also knew the ramifications if we disrespected people, especially Christians. So, I think the mother’s role is to run the house, the father leading, heading it.

ha..rumors abound apparently

about the multi tasking..truth there for sure...I used to read and watch tv at the same time when I was younger and right now I am on here and watching tv and I can relate to both things going on

I've even done 3 things

for sure men are are single focused..and that works great in some situations

In all honesty, my wife does wash my clothes most of the time. I do them sporadically, but 95+% of the time she washes them. I do help her fold them up when they are dried. I offer to do the dishes occasionally but she says I make a bigger mess than it is worth, and then she says I never help her around the house.:oops::mad:
Hahha don't feel bad.....I do the dishes by hand, sometimes cook, haul trash out, make the bed and dust mop the floor, fix things and I never do anything.......hahaha

As long as none of the genders become confused, it should be ok
Right. I wanted to ask how many genders we were referring to here.
Haven't noticed any trannies though. (there's a topic?)
