Someone who thinks that they should be forgiven when they don't apologize has absolutely no comprehension as to those particulars. Forgiveness. Contrition.

Someone that thinks to be forgiven are admitting they're wrong about something. Otherwise, why would they think forgiveness is in order at all for anything? However, at the same time stating they do not apologize means they do not accept they're done anything wrong to apologize for. And that then repeals their prior expectation of forgiveness.

Now, when someone is that unaware, deficient in the particulars, as relate to committing personal transgressions against another person , they're then woefully unequipped to comprehend the salvation doctrine itself. Which begins with , on the human's part, an act of contrition, repentance, asking forgiveness for what they acknowledge as wrong doings, sins, in their life.

But if we go on the aforementioned dysfunctional model as pertains to human one on one interaction in a social dynamic as relates to wrong doing, expecting forgiveness without apology for wrong doing, then the social principle is devalued because the hubris of the offender expects forgiveness, but doesn't respect admission of error.

The salvation principle then, which also incorporates admission of wrong doing, apology, and forgiveness. The individual that is unconscious of the social dynamic of contrition is incapable of comprehending the ecclesiastical one.

I couldn't find OnceFallen's post, but I will comment on it here. I agree they may be bringing diseases, especially viruses that have jumped the human/animal species barrier, like AIDS and Ebola.

But, they are not bringing small pox. It has been eradicated for years. In the whole world! (Although there may be a few in some secret lab in England I understand. Not sure why!)

Besides, I had the dreadful small pox vaccine as a child. You get a big pox on your arm, that leaves a scar, and you are really sick for days. If somehow small pox got out, I would be the one tending the sick, I guess! Sucks to be old!
