In order for him to do this he has to remove the log from his eye so he can see clearly that is is in fact doing what he is judging everyone else of doing. He does not realise when he points. He has three fingers pointing back at him.
I have pointed out clear lies in the new versions and not one person has given an answer. I have given an honest reconciliation answer for all "so called" errors in the KJV. Where's the double standard?

I knew what you meant, no problem. I believe it's Christ because of the language of the verse. It says he confirmed THE covenant. I know Christ confirmed the covenant with Abraham when he came.
The point is the two versions don't agree. One version has someone confirming a covenant and the other has someone making a new covenant. You believe the verse is talking about Titus, what covenant did Titus confirm? For that matter, what covenant did Titus make? I'm not looking for answers to these questions, I'm making a point.
This thread is not about the other versions. If you want to discuss them, start another thread.
You have overlooked clear "lies" (your word, not mine) in the KJV and have instead come up with a convoluted "explanation" which does nothing to explain the clear discrepancy. In one passage, Ahaziah is 22 years old; in the other, at the same point in his life, he is 42 years old. Your post might "make sense" of the numbers but it does not make sense of the text.
That you can't see your own hypocritical double standard is, frankly, shocking. You are deeply biased.
The double standard is this: you use one standard (assumption of correctness, generous grace and exhaustive explanation) with the KJV, and surficial examination of just the main text for other translations. If you used that standard with the KJV, you would say it is lying. It's time you start using a single standard for judgment.
I'm certain that the entire bible was inspired by God, and not dependent on KJV or any other translation. He knows what He is doing and He can and will use whatever means possible to get us where we need to be, with Him. I am also certain we, myself included, protesteth too much!!! Why is this even a discussion, let alone one that never ends, lol? Read KJV (seems like a great idea) read another version, or hey, even better compare translations (a brilliant method, lol, if you ask me) but regardless, no matter what, whatever you do, KEEP READING THE BIBLE!!!
I reconciled what you believe is a contradiction. It's not a contradiction. You don't like that. Oh well. The clear answer is in the context in each passage as I explained.
One has to be the preserved words of God, if not one, then none. That's really the debate. Most on here do not believe they can obtain the pure words of God given in the English language, but hold fast to the "originals" which are not available anywhere. Did God give us His words, tell us to live by them, and not provide them for us today?
I would agree if they all said the same thing but just used different wording, but they don't. And in many places it's huge differences like in Daniel 9:27.
