Just read any gospel account of the resurrection of Jesus when He appeared before the disciples and others as well. He had both a physical body and a spiritual body. We will have that type of body too. God does indeed realize our desires.
Kind of like the angels.....heavenly, celestial bodies that can take form......I love the description of our heavenly body of power as described in 1st Corinthians 15 when the words are studied.....

Celestial, etheral, astral, from above, heavenly and in power.......good stuff for sure

Yes, we will be able to eat actual food. In fact, a banquet is being prepared for us and all the food is going to be choice, the very best.

I never...ever take heed to reports of heavenly visitation.....
John 3:13
No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven--the Son of Man.

Paul did have visions of heaven but no visitation or ascention.
Then you are not listening to scripture but going off on your own way. We are told that Heb. 13: 2 Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.

The teraphim are of an order of angels who can take on human form and scripture tells of times they have done so.

I don't think this is the correct meaning of teraphim. These were ancient household gods made as images, and carried about by their devotees. No doubt all false gods are essentially demons, but teraphim may have represented deified ancestors (as indicated by the Jewish Encyclopedia).

I'm not sure if you are confusion seraphim (angels) with teraphim (idols).

When teraphim are fallen they are called idols.

Well along way to go as this verse needs more digging. So far it may b that the angels are there to protect her from lustful thoughts either way....so still not sure but hair...we'll see.

Would it be related to Genesis 3:15?

And I will put emnity between thy seed and her seed:it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Um, where does it say that. The angel of the Lord opened the tomb. He had help!
The Lord was long gone before the angel rolled away the stone from the door of the tomb. He did not need help. Those angels were there to communicate the good news to the disciples.

Long gone? It was three days. Sorry you are not making sense. If Jesus was not needing any help, then why was there an earthquake. Why did angels minister to him in the wilderness when he was starving. Why did angels announce his birth and talk to his earthly parents. Were not the angels helping him? How did he ascend to heaven? Oh and Peter and them could have just got out of jail without the angels yea just escaped like people always do when they locked up.
If you think you know everything, please answer the question about the power on a womans head because of the angels. Or you think they just there to talk to people. YEa Jesus could have just left a note. I am not here, I've risen from the dead.

Sorry! Not buying it.

In Genesis 6...The sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were fair, and took wives of all them that they chose...

What does this have to do with angels and hair covering? Just trying to see the connection...when it says they were 'fair' was it talking about hair, or something else. Theres fair hair...but not everyone is blonde.

I will just put the angels/womens hair as another Bible unsolved mystery then.

I am sure all will be revealed when we meet face to face.

I got to reading this book Angels by Jack Graham...but it never mentioned this either. It had many references to angels in the Bible, but not really explaining anything you cant read for yourself in the Bible. Also it didnt mention anything from book of Revelation, which was strange, as thats the book that has the most angels in it. ?!

Fair in older English history meant that these woman where good looking.. Attractive.. desirable.. It was not about hair color..

There is a big difference between God needing something and God wanting something.. God does not need anything from us or Angels.. But God wants / desires things from us and Angels..

God decided to use Angels on the day of the LORD's resurrection.. He did not NEED to use Angels.. He wanted to use Angels and thus He did..
