Selfdissolving,

If I might add one other thing...

I think women like to be "Woo'ed".;)
So, you might try that too.
Depends on “Whoo”...”Whoom?”...whatever...😇😁

maybe cheesy pick up lines work?
"I was reading the book of Numbers, and I realized I don't have yours."

hehe!

Ah, some nerdy pick up lines...

1. If you were a triangle youd be acute one.
2. My love for you is like dividing by zero-- it cannot be defined.
3. Is your name Wi-Fi? Because I'm feeling a connection.
4. You're sweeter than 3.14159

No, I didn't make these up. I might have to write'm down and keep them handy though! :D

That rarely happens these days.

Gone are the days when men use to court women.

i need to find myself a christian woman to talk to, anybody brave enough. im a nice person i won't disapoint anybody.
The first thing is to allow the members to get to know you through your posts. To do this you will have to be a frequent contributor to the forums which is the best outlet to really get to know someone. This will also give you the chance to get to know the members also. There are plenty that are brave enough but they are also wise as well and will most likely not simply jump right in and try to establish a relationship to a complete stranger. Regardless, glad to have you onboard. Welcome to CC.

I know EXACTLY how you feel. What I had to do: wait. And wait. And reject the world. Wait some more. Waited over 10 years. Finally found a sweet kind true believer after diligent searching half way around the planet. It has been very very rough go of things believe me.
BTW...she was suffering through the exact same syndrome and had almost given up hope.
Both of us are pretty beat down and past our prime but what choice did we have?
I am glad your journey was successful in this endeavor. Perseverance usually pays out in the end.

Work with me here, Lynx.

I'm just picturing poor Self Dissolving having to tell some Godly Christian woman, "Well, I would have really liked to have taken you to a nice dinner out, but I spent all my money on Gouda in order to feed your cats." :(
By the way, tuna works better than cheese... and a can of tuna is less than a buck... and no lactose.

Here's how well it works:

You wanna woo a woman? Buy her mozzarella sticks.
Lol. You’re right.

Suitor: Miss Jenny, would you consider it being too forward inviting you on a date come Friday?

Miss Jenny: I don’t think I can. That’s my weekly hair fix day.

Suitor: I’ll buy you Mozzarella sticks.

Miss Jenny: You’re on!

Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

I think one reason is that men are so "afraid" to approach women and strike a conversation. I also think you need to keep an open mind when it comes to dating a bit older women and women with kids. They probably have the essential ingredients since they know how to be loyal in steady relationships, are responsible in their commitment with family and will probably take better care of you.

Actually the question isn't gender specific. This question is asked regularly here, by both men and women.
Though I can't help but find the irony that so many people who view themselves as such solid Christian's all coming here and still can't find anyone. Makes me wonder if people should focus more inward and less on their wants.

While I agree about dating women with kids, but not for the reasons you give.
Plenty of married or single parents are selfish, flaky, cheating, etc... the act of having kids does not suddenly improve a person or suggest they're more likely to have better characteristics. That's a false logic. Mumble rap alone is evidence that having kids doesn't make one a good person, parent or spouse
The traits you describe can be just as solidly found in childless singles. A persons character is a better measure than their external circumstances.

For me dating someone with kids has nothing to do with that making them have good character but rather getting to connect with kids and provide a role in their lives that is often either missing totally or is insufficient to their needs.
The reality of dating a single parent is a risk of greater difficulty actually. Kids that may not want a new parent or person telling them what to do. A parent who may put their kids above you (even in marriage) and the like.
So finding those priorities and character are important beforehand. Not assuming they have them already.

Wow, don't you think you are over analyzing the comment. I don't think you need to be dragged to date an older women with kids. If you go towards dating her with this over analyzed psycho babel she will run for her life. Good luck my friend.

And here i thought sharing personal experiences, thoughts, ideas, beliefs and discussing them were part of fellowship with others on the site. I guess i had it wrong. Forgive me for providing facts that counter your false logic. Also i appreciate your assumption that i 'go towards dating with this overanalyzed psycho babel (babble, actually, no towers here)'. It goes a long way to revealing more negatives about your character and your inability to tolerate an opposing view, even when it lends itself to supporting the view you had to begin with.
I'll be sure to dumb things down for you in the future, so you can keep up. Also i'll bypass facts as to not upset your world.
Sad thing is i actually thought you seemed an interesting addition to the site and had looked forward to seeing more from you. Apparently i misjudged. Thank you for correcting my positive assumptions about you.

I agree with you about sharing personal experiences, thoughts, ideas, beliefs and discussing them are a part of fellowship with others on this site even though that leaves you vulnerable to ridicule, attack and scorn. I appreciate your candor and honesty and for having the courage to share part of yourself with others. It is impossible to fellowship with a member who is afraid or unwilling to share even the tiniest bit about who they are and what they are about. I find you to be a very interesting and likable person who is on the right spiritual track as well. I always enjoy reading your posts too. You are an asset to the community.

I met my wife online. We got married young I was 22 she was 21 four months younger. Since we both were young we've only been married to each other. So I found someone that has never been married or has never done anything with another person. A christian. I'm not saying it's a perfect marriage because there is no such thing. There are always issues in a relationship- more with kids so I will take all the advice anyone wants to share. What's the opinion on online dating?
