From the moment we are born, we are always looking for who is the right person for us.. Women are absolutely beautiful appealing creatures that are fully aware of the power they can possess over a man (most men) Women in porn are portrayed as the perfect physical appearance... Attractive in sight but MOST probably have some very deep rooted unresolved issues. Or they just enjoy the power they currently have....They are also God's children and deserve happiness like us all... I just think that they have gotten very far based solely on just their looks that working on their inner beauty has taken back seat....I pray that these women eventually do see that we are all so much more than our physical beings. If their value and self worth is totally wrapped in the outer beauty, then when father time comes their way, a brick wall lies ahead and they will be forced to confront it.

I think being physically beautiful in todays world is a blessing and a curse... The attention you get is intoxicating but when age hits you, you are in a dark world... Plastic surgery or changing your views is the only 2 options....

Well, how does one know who or what is right for them? By sight? By works for them? or By just an inner sense of I KNOW THIS IS THE ONE for me? I am a believer in the 3rd reason... It makes no sense in the real world and it makes no senses to other people but what matters most is it makes that one person makes you fully happy and that is all that matters..... It is a magical experience when it occurs and if you are lucky to dig in for the long haul and refuse to settle, you will fully understand.

Sanctification is not automatic. We enter into sanctification by the Believers Faith placed and maintained exclusively in Christ [Who He Is] and the Cross of Calvary where the victory was won [what He has done] (Hebrews 11:6). This is called the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus - Romans 8:2. This allows the Holy Spirit to baptize the Believer into the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, so that the life of Christ is manifested through the power of the Holy Spirit in the Believers life [it is His life that brings the victory - not ours] Matthew 5:8, John 1:12, John 14:21, Romans 6:3-5, Galatians 2:20-21, 2 Corinthians 4:11

The Lord has given us everything we need regarding life and living - and we receive these great and Precious Promises THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIM [what Christ did at the Cross]. 2 Peter 1:1-4

VERY - VERY IMPORTANT: The Believer must stay in His death, burial, and resurrection and are, therefore, victorious (It is Jesus Christ life that brings victory - not ours). That is the only way we are triumphant in Christ (II Cor. 2:14). And that is the only way He can work in us both to will (change our desires), and to do (give us the power of the Holy Spirit) (Phil. 2:13)

This is the only way we receive the life of Jesus Christ to manifest in our lives so that we receive all the benefits of this Resurrection life (Luke 9:23).

There are two kinds of peace with God the Father:

1. Justifying Peace - This is Peace with God, a legal standing (Romans 5:1, 8:7; Ephesians 2:14-15).

2. Sanctifying Peace - This is the Peace of God in the heart (Romans 8:6, 14:19, 15:13; Galatians 1:3; 1 Thessalonians 5:23).

The first is the result of a legal standing. The second is the result of the Work of the Holy Spirit. The first is static, never fluctuates, the second changes almost from hour to hour. The first, every Christian has, the second, every Christian may have.

Sanctifying peace allows the Holy Spirit to deliver the Believer into the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, so that the life of Christ is manifested and lived through the Believer by the power of the Holy Spirit. This is a living sacrifice that is pleasing and acceptable to God (Matthew 5:8; John 14:21; Romans 8:2, 13; 2 Corinthians 4:11; Galatians 2:20-21).

The majority of Christians know nothing about the Cross of Christ for sanctification. Justification delivers us from the penalty of sin, while sanctification delivers us from the power of sin. The Cross of Christ is as necessary for sanctification as it is for salvation (1 Cor. 1:18).

We submit to God by the Plan He has provided, which is the Cross. We resist the Devil by strictly looking to Christ, and what He has done for us at the Cross, where Satan was totally defeated (Colossians 2:14-15).

Yeah be careful of that. I remember my first crush ever growing up and i was doing everything i was asked lol.

Obviously later on I realized its just a game they play(very often knowingly, while acting innocent), to get attention, but ironically the ones that did give them attention ended up in the friend-zone. So go figure. Its like the less interested I was, the more interested they were.
I wish some woman on here would set us straight once and for all and tell us why is it like this? Counterlogical? (i just made that word up)

Also if you are a woman, be careful of guys who are OVERLY complimentary. you ALREADY should know what that means. Not saying you shouldn't take the compliment or it isn't genuine, but im saying that guys will say ANYTHING.

@TM19782017 You are also correct that the best basis for marriage is spiritual and just compatability. Its like a pastor once said: "you like that guy with the pearly white teeth? Well one of these days he'll be keeping them on the bedroom table"

This is for a real Christian that fights against porn addiction, and/or who has and won.

Even thou some Christians will be disrespectful and get on here and tell me how porn is ok, not sin... you can do a you like, but you are worthless Christians (in my opinion) any way just to let you know.... and what you have to say will be worthless.....

My son is fighting porn addiction. He gives me all electronics at night so he can not get on line. His tablet, smart tv remote and phone. But the memories, the imagines… he keeps getting plagued with in his head. I pray over him and I hear him at night begging G-d to deliver him.

What did you do to be free of porn.... and the memories of it playing in your head?

Please help me help my son.... there has to be some Christians free from this sin!?!
I don't believe that you will find any member of this site that says that porn is OK and not sinful. Please add my prayer to yours for your son.

Have you never heard? Have you never understood? Do you not know where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom? 2 Cor. 3:17
The member who wrote the OP was inquiring about relationships and women in general. I fail to see how your cut n paste from Jimmy Swaggert was relevant.

If you are really sincere in being a help on this site then I would suggest you drop down your guard and not be afraid to show who you really are so that others may relate to you. As it stands now, all you ever do is post reams of scripture that contain the insight of a man who has been unfaithful to his wife many times over and is a disgrace for a man who is suppose to be a Christian pastor of some sorts.

Even so, the scripture that you post to a particular topic or concern rarely, if ever, actually pertain to the matter at hand, is impossible to relate or apply in a practical sense, and is therefore no use to anyone. It may make you feel good inside but is of little help in those who face the struggle of life and how to apply the Word of God to make them a better person and a more humble servant of the Lord.

Am going to address this 'counterlogical' thing.

I have always known that anytime someone compliments my flesh i.e my outward body, they are not seeing my soul. They are not seeing my heart. And a womans heart cannot be reached by complimenting her or flattery and saying how good she looks on the outside.

To win someones heart, well it takes a lot more than praising someones outward appearance. Anyone can do that...

Why is it like this.
Well eve made a BIG mistake in seeing this forbidden fruit and judging on outward appearance. She thought just cos it looked good on the outside, that it would be good for her. I think it goes back to that. Adam? He just ate the fruit, no questions asked.

This is why the fruits of the holy spirit are not named fig, banana, apple, orange, watermelon, pear, pinneaple, kiwifruit and strawberry.

Pornography is probably the toughest addiction to break free from, perhaps only second to a drug addiction. In both cases the addict is either seeking an escape from reality or suffers with poor self-esteem. In either case the point that you want to convey to your son is that he has value and purpose because he is made in the image of his Creator. Encourage him to pray to God for help with his addiction. Be there for him when he needs support and encouragement and perhaps suggest that he join a men's group that helps young men to overcome their addiction.

The sin nature has been separated, not eliminated in a Christian life. This evil nature is always present in our current bodies. Victory only comes by Faith in Christ and the Cross. We must acknowledge that we need the GRACE of God to overcome the sins we repeat. The operation of the Holy Spirit is accomplished through Faith and Grace.

Every failure in a Christian life is caused by us resulting to the flesh and trying to do what needs to be done by the means of the flesh, which is guaranteed to fail. When the Believer attempts to function outside of the Cross, the situation becomes impossible. Sin and failure are the constant results, no matter how hard one may try otherwise.

Just let him repent, break the soul ties and kick those unclean demons out and bring those images to death on the cross. If it doesn't work, ask someone like T.B. Joshua for help, if they don't do that in his church. He prays for viewers on youtube. One guy got set free just like that when he simply confessed that he was a new creation in Christ and his old nature died. He had been fighting porn addiction for decades and finally gave up and then God said He was well pleased that he didn't try to fix it himself. He just had to confess that he died with Christ.
There's groups on internet to help ppl get set free.

This is the conclusion I have arrived at regarding ALL addictions:

In God’s domain, NOTHING is a battle. It’s all about AUTHORITY. Who is The Most High? He is the One with the most authority.

In Christ, we are born again of incorruptible seed and given authority over our sinful nature and this world.

Therefore, we are NEVER taken as captives to sin, but we have a choice to walk according to our flesh or the spirit.

If we choose the flesh, we will sin.

If we choose the spirit, we will not sin.

It’s not about “natures” anymore. We’re back in the garden - it’s about “choices”..........again!!!(y)

Romans 8:1 King James Version (KJV)
8 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

We are no longer a slave to sin. We have authority that gives us power to "choose" to say NO to sin.

Fall in love with Yeshua/Jesus - focus on Him and falling more and more in love with Him - LOVE is extremely powerful and helps us to "choose" the Spirit instead of the flesh.
