Needing Prayer

Hey everyone;

Could you pray for me? I had one of the best monhs spiritually in December but I made a few mistakes and I’m out of sorts. Im having a hard time moving along in my relationship with Him.

Since this, I’ve recently dabbled in playing video games again. Personally, I don’t really play often or much because I believe God spoke to me a ways back and told me He didn’t want me to be playing. I can easily get sucked in and consumed by them, neglecting my responsibilities, so I normally just avoid them altogether.

Could you pray that God would help me get back on track with Him? And whatever else the Lord places on you?

Paul wrote that when one becomes a man that he puts the childish thoughts and desires behind him and start living life as God has intended. Seems to me that you are already on the right spiritual track. My counsel is to take your games and Xbox and donate them to Goodwill as you have no further use of them. Relaxation and escape from the world is a necessary thing in preparing to face the challenges of the next day but when it becomes the main focus of your life then there is a problem.

We are all in a learning process as 'for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God' Rom 3:23. Since the Holy Spirit is guiding you and saying to stop with the games, you should listen. That's what our Spiritual ears are for. 'We can do all things through Christ who gives us strength', Phil 4:13 and God bless you with His goodness.
