Hi.
I’d really appreciate your prayers.
I’m self employed and have been hating work for about 5 years, I’ve been trying to battle my way through it but I have lost all drive to work.
Financially, it is not worth carrying on any more.
I ask that God will make a clear path/vision for me. I have ideas of what I’d like to do but they are so ‘dreamy’

Thank you

Perhaps consider a job working for wages but it probably won't be a dream job though. What you like to do and what you have to do are two different things altogether. I have been working for the man for 45 years and have basically concluded that work tends to suck no matter what the job position is.

What’s wrong at work? Is your boss a jerk? Sorry, couldn’t resist. I always saw myself being an entrepreneur. It hasn’t happened yet. I think I could be successful but I have enough responsibility with my family currently. How dreamy are your aspirations? I’m a dreamer also. Maybe you just need to remind yourself why you started a business. It’s better to create than maintain. Do something new. I enjoy being challenged, but every once in a while it’s nice to just do some mindless labour for a few days, for a break. Maybe there’s ways to organize your schedule better to maximize productivity so you can take time out and reap the benefits of proprietorship.

Can you do something like foster care or room rentals, if you have a home? If not pray for the Lord to open doors for you, in Jesus' name. Figure out what you would like to do and ask the good Lord to help you. 'He gives us the desire of our hearts' Ps 37:4. God bless.

I’m praying that God will surround you with His love, provide for all your needs and give you guidance as you lean upon Him. Grace and peace to you, friend.
