gees this could take awhile.....lol
My biggest thing would be he would have to love christ with all his heart and soul and live for him and support me in my journey with christ.
He would have to love my kids like his own.
He would have to love all the fun stuff as well like bbqs, holidays, going out, picnics, spending time with the kids just to name a few
and last but not least love me with all his might and for me too feel like he does :-)))
i know i know something about needles and haystacks!?!?!?!?!?!? lol
 
I want someone who has common sense, that I can trust to make sound financial decisions. Someone I don't have to lead around by the nose. Leaves out all the dumb blonds I guess. Assuming they actually exist. The same goes for other decisions that come up in marriage. I want someone who shares my faith so that when children start appearing we'll be on the same page regarding their upbringing.

Other than that everything else is frosting and simply doesn't really matter. I'd prefer someone who was fairly fit simply because being over weight is not that healthy. Yes, I'm trying to get rid of mine. I'd also prefer someone close to my height. A few women I know are almost a foot shorter than I am and I always feel like I'm looking down on a child rather than a woman my own age. That's just me though.

I'd also like a woman who enjoys sports, not perhaps as much as me but one who is at least able to sit down and enjoy watching a hockey game once a week or something.

As I said, I think everything else is icing.
 
I only really have one requirement... That he look like morla the swamp tortoise.

hmm i would have to say my requirements are...

1.she must be able to do backflips like sonya from mortal kombat
2. must be willing to put me in a sleeper hold and choke me to put me to sleep when i can't sleep
3. must be willing to bring me TP when i get stuck in the bathroom cuase there is no TP
4. has to have prior experience as a ninja assassin
5. must be able to take apart and re assemble a M4 and then do a functions test blind folded
6. Drive a monster truck
7. must love capn crunch cereal
8. must be able to put on make up while driving a car in a highspeed chase
9.be able to run a mile in 5 minutes while wearing high heels
10. know how to set up booby traps with panty hose

Genuinely caring (i.e. someone who by their nature is caring toward everyone and not just the people that they like. I think someone who is not like this by their nature but can be warm to one person and cold to someone else always has the ability to become cold to the people they were warm to, whereas someone who by their nature is always kind and never rude to anyone is much more trustworthy)
Pure
Someone who can be a good, responsible, and loving mother.
Someone with whom you can live your life and faith together in harmony
Someone who has 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 written in their heart, not just their mind
I know that this is a demanding list, but as I wrote above, it is an ideal list. True love goes beyond a checklist and has no bounds.

Icing... a hockey term lol! I looked at your country when you said Hockey & sure enough Canada! Habs rule btw... anyhow I submit to you further that your wife share your faith not only for the raising of your children but for the building up of each other in Christ... also, that your marriage be an agreement that includes God from the start! I think it is a lovely list! and I agree with Imoss.....Pray for your future bride now...and trust and believe in faith that she is serving the Lord in those ways and also praying for you too.

The best quality I can think of is that she must be a God fearing Bible believing christian with a wonderful personality. ^.^
 
This is a good question...

1. A strong christian character and personal relationship with God
2. Unique/interesting personality- maybe even an artistic streak or at least an appreciation for the aesthetic.
3. A spirit of adventure/love for outdoors and travel and unique experiences.
4. Fairly conservative family values.
5. Wants kids at some point in life
6. A bit of "ruggendess" doesn't hurt either :D

I obviously don't have a very concrete idea of what I'm looking for. But maybe thats a good thing for now?
 
non drinker,non smoker or doesn't do drugs,doesn't mind going to church and just for her to be herself.
i look for a girl like who is your best friend ,to share life with and feelings, to be there to help and support eachother through all life throws at us.the actual person and who they are is more important then image.
 
Well theres no one perfect in my eyes Except for God =D

My ideal guy would be a christian, Who reads the bible every day, prays to God, puts God first, Has NO tattoos, will never want or will get tattoos, Is not a man whore (please excuse that word =/) Is mostly quiet but can hold a conversation once you get to know him,Wants to preach the word of God (get into ministry) Would want to adopt kids in the future & not have his own) Does not like slutty girls, Likes learning, A good listener & advice giver & a virgin would be nice.... & most of all someone who wont cheat on you, he is man enough to push or slap the hoe away especially if she knows he has a girl or is married.
I know for a fact they have to believe in God & have fear of him =)
Otherwise me & him have ZERO future together.
