Interesting, would you consider John 20:23 as not inspired too, because only Roman Catholics practice that?

Some issues with the last verses in mark
1. it says the believers can drink poison and be bitten by snakes and not be harmed or not die, this is proven to be false
2. In another gospel jesus says whoever believes, he does not use the word baptise, so at most, this is questionable
If there is one error, it is faulty, we can not say gods word is inerrant then have errors.

I’m not challenging the authenticity of 1 Corinthians 14 even though it is grossly distorted by the Pentecostals. But there are valid historical reasons to doubt the ending of Mark as well as the misapplication.

There is no question about thise passages. Only in interpretation, if we theough scripure out because of interpretation problems we would throw half the word out (luther wanted to get rid of james because of misinterpretation)

Oh yes, I forgot the part where we are all Apostles that have seen the risen Christ and empowered to build the church from nothing. Did you miss the part where Paul lost the ability to heal and had to leave those he cared about suffering?Did you skip this part of your Bible?

Granted, there is room for speculation on the question of that portion of Mark 16 but, the textual evidence in its favor is just as compelling as that which is used to question its legitimacy. There are may passages with far less textual support that go virtually unchallenged. This leads me to wonder about the motives of those who call this particular text into question on that basis.

You said it was "proven false." Yet, I've provided through God's word (your standard for truth, I hope) an example of such an occurrence whereby the one bitten takes no harm. As for those that died, as opposed to being proven false, God's word stands true. You shall not test the Lord your God. Those snake charmers are doing exactly that.
You shouldn't think for a moment that any of God's children have lost the ability to heal the sick. The same Spirit that rose Jesus from the dead resides in them (being the temple of the Holy Spirit). The name of Jesus still carries authority.

I do not doubt the power of the Holy Spirit. I am not discounting spiritual gifts. I am discounting your claim that every believer is equal to the Apostles. I am challenging your claim of humans controlling the power of God through the Holy Spirit. As I said and you blatantly ignored, even Paul lost his powers. God has given people free reign to use his Power and will and do so again. That time isn’t now.

Only God can heal the sick, and only in his will. I have witnessed this in the power of prayer. I have also seen God say no, i am not going to heal this time,
I like the KJV but I read many versions of the Word, always have and also in a few languges.
The bottom line foks, and it ii is undeniable, when God wants someone to kow something, they will get the truth out of a Betty Crocker Cookbook, if it is His will.

PS.....I know Moses came down from the Mount with rays coming out of his head, not horns as translated for centuries.
The point stands. You said it has been proven false, yet we have an example in scripture. Regardless of the quantifiable evidence, we have evidence nonetheless. If you see it once, it means its been done. Ergo, not proven false.
Sorry if I am coming off forward, and it really might be silly to be this adamant about surviving a snake bite, but God does the impossible, and divinely protects His saints. This cannot be denied.
