Continuing to pray for you Gemmy. I would like to share with you that I suffered mentally for a long time. A dear brother in Christ counseled me to go out and get involved in helping people some way. He told me, "Just go and keep going even if you don't feel like it." He knew I was a mess. He told me not to think about my problems, but go help others with what I could and always pray. I couldn't do much. I volunteered at soup kitchens and homless shelters. My mind was clear in less than a year.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Pro.3:6

Dear Gemmy, my heart reaches out to you, and my prayers reach to our Heavenly Father. I pray He lifts your head and satisfies you to the full. I pray He uses your pain and suffering to bring you and others healing, that His strength is perfected in your moments of weakness, in Jesus Name.
Thanks for sharing so we can pray with and for you. Plus others hurting can know that others understand.

Here are some scriptures that help me when I am feeling weary, wounded and/or and weak.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ. But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; or if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which is effective in the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer; and our hope for you is firmly grounded, knowing that as you are sharers of our sufferings, so also you are sharers of our comfort.

I’m sorry you are going through so much, Gemmy. Be assured I’m lifting you up before the Lord. May you know the comforting presence of His Holy Spirit renewing you inwardly, as well as His sovereign power, which is able to touch your body and heal you.

Also, I know that Focus on the Family can provide a free phone consultation with a licensed counselor if you call this number 855-382-5433. Please contact them for assistance.

Additionally, It might be helpful to get in touch with National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) by visiting their website: www.nami.org. They provide information on treatment and services, support groups and interactive group forums. Hang in there, sister.

Take it easy on yourself, life is tough and just take one thing at a time. God is on your side and lean on Him.

They have the saying when the going gets tough the tough get going. But I think that's wrong... When the going gets tough we need to lean on God and allow Him to help us get through the tough time... We humans are made of dust and when stiff winds come along dust usually gets blown away so rest in knowing God is with you through the stress of life and have peace of mind knowing that He is with you through those hard blowing winds...

Gemmy, You've received some powerful words of encouragements & prayers here! Just know that you never walk alone on your journey through life, as your Heavenly Father is right there in your mist, and within you. Finding time to rest in the Lord presence is so important, especially when life gets overwhelming. Finding time to read through scriptures & simply rest your mind & spirit. Often times life can beat us down or weigh us down with all the demands & worries etc...I don't think anyone is exempt from an occasional day of feeling stress & worry. I have found so much comfort & peace, when I allow time for the Lord in my daily life. Having fellowship with the Lord, through prayer & bible reading & worship songs is the best medicine for combating life's ups & downs. Most importantly, it draws us closer to our Heavenly Father, and builds strength within our spirit, and puts a new song in our hearts. Just as a vehicle needs to "refuel" at a gas station, we as Christians need to rest in the Lords presence to "refuel our minds & spirit, with his strength & peace. Even though His peace & love never leaves us, we often times need to continually come back to the "Well" of His Love & Grace, and Strength & Hope, and Truth. Hang in there!! Jesus Loves you!!!

YOU ARE a Child of the Living God Gemmy! THAT is how you should identify yourself.

Don't listen to your what your dead flesh, and satan are telling you. Your Father in Heaven LOVES you. He does NOT want to see you in this state.

Say it out loud. " I am God's daughter, and He loves me!" LIVE in that identity.

Violet,
thank you for sharing such a powerful message - if only our brothers and sisters would take the time and awareness
of just how 'tense' they can be at certain times and learn to recognize how they can feel when they let go of all
that pent-up stress that this world is crippled by - Jesus gives us His knowledge, but it's not always
easy to recognize or remember to be kind to one self and just 'let-go' - being able to release the
stress in our bodies/minds, it is a very great step in our healing process...

thank you sweetheart, for your discernment, and the courage to step-out and express it...
:):)
it is so heartbreaking that so many are so very bound-up in their own private world, and that
they just haven't yet achieved the Faith/courage to 'step-out' and experience what our Saviour has
waiting for them to experience, and be able to grow, step-by-step into the healing
grace that awaits them...

Mental and emotionally tired. I don’t feel like posting everything I’ve been dealing with lately, I’m just fed up and hate I have mental illness.
My heart aches for you. I must say that I have been on the path of despair and hopelessness, countless times over the course of my life. And I guess for as long as I live on this planet....I will have those seasons again. I usually took comfort in prayer, listened to uplifting sermons online, listened to some good songs (I like the song by Casting Crowns titled " Oh My Soul"...especially when the lyric goes "....HE breathes on your dry bones..") or wrote in my journal where I could just jot down all my thoughts and feelings freely without fear of judgement from others. I probably would never understand what you're going thru or your feelings about it but please know that I am praying that you'll be comforted and strengthened for your journey has only begun. You're going to make it. You are gonna go thru this. And no matter how many times it knocks you down, you'll get back up again because HE, who is in you, is greater than anything else. Make sure you take care yourself. Invest in yourself. Take rest. Try to do something (no matter how little) that you always enjoy the most. Watch good comedy. Sometimes I will look in the mirror and say loudly "You are loved. You have worth and value. You are not defined by your circumstances or what others have done or said to you. God loves YOU." I also would write a few things I like about myself on a piece of paper to remind myself that I too have gifts in me and thus, something to offer to the world.
Lastly, I just want to gently remind you that feelings are temporary and many times they can be deceiving. They come and go as they like. And most of the time, they don't reflect our true reality. Lots of prayers for you!

Hey, I know that it is hard to deal with. I know some of people who read this will maybe make some remark but i have Tourettes, PTSD, Anxiety, and some health problems.

I fully get how you feel because as a child i felt alone because i was the only one in my family and area as it seemed to be ticcing uncontrollably.

Believe me it DOES get better and God will see to that. Keep your head up my friend because there is a reason for everything.

You are lifted up in prayer, and i hope in time you will see truth in the situation. There is a song from MercyMe called Flawless.

Please check it out because friend by that Cross you ARE flawless, God loves you and so do I.
