Most people interpret "equally yoked" with regard to marriage. It is applicable to business partnerships as well.

My friend went into business with an unbeliever and she got totally screwed...
Not saying it would happen every time but it happened...

AND, if you look at the passage in context we are given 5 examples of why not to. We know when Jesus said verily verily He wants our attention. He must Really Really want our attention if we get 5 examples.
