If a believer will not adhere to God's teachings, taught in the churches of THOSE TIMES (as opposed to today) it states to excommunicate him...to be as a tax-gatherer...he will need to repent AGAIN...
to treat him as a heathen. (taken from different bibles, of mine).
What do you think that means?

I responded to the best of my ability from my heart....
When I said what I said, it was not a dig or a jab
it was a response with no snarky attitude, it was an attempt to get you to pull back from the attack mode behavior and insults and false accusations
while you push a doctrine (as I have just explained in my last posts) distorts the truth and Gods character

for the 4 verses you listed (which I stated in my reply to you)
Mr. Strong said that ALL FOUR have exactly the same meaning...

So the question is...
What was YOUR point?

If paul feared losing salvation, most of his writtings are utter nonsense, in fact we may as well just take all his books and throw them out and burn them, because that is about how reputable they are, because paul is one of the most contradictory people ever known
Paul went through being stoned and left for dead, being shipwrecked, beaten jailed most of his life, and through all these sufferimgs, in his word he considered them all a light affliction which is momentary when comsidered against the eternal glory which is to come.
Paul could not say or believe these things if he thought for even a second there was any possibility of him losing salvation in the future, noone could because no one knows the future.
You want paul to comtradict, and a bible that is useless, feel free
And as far as you yelling, chill out dude, of course paul wants people to examine themselves,
Once again not eveyone who claims to be gods child IS GODS CHiLD.
You wanna earn your salvation, feel free
As for me and my family, we will serve the lord without fear, because we know in the end, GOD WILL WIN, and he wil NEVER LET ME GO.
You need to study up on what seperates us from god and get it into your head that every night you go to bed, every day you wake up, you deserve hell, because you have failed to live up to gods standard.
When you do that, you will finally see what paul saw. And understamd the teue undeniable grace of god.

You obviously cannot read or comprehend English............try again and this time be honest with what I said........I cannot believe how many people will respond and TWIST the context of what one states to make mouthy flippant comments...
Kind of like the Pharisees encompassing land and sea to make a proselyte and in so doing making a two fold child of hell.....

I'm NOT in attack mode.
I'm a strong person and I strongly feel that some mislead others.
I don't say anything mean about anyone here....

Some catholic doctrine is right, BTW.
Not every church has everything right
and not every church has everything wrong.
Except the reformed, of course...

continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.
Philippians 2:12-14
If Paul says we need to have fear and trembling, what is this about?
Is fear wrong, a sin, a lack of faith or rightful respect and acknowledging our debt and powerlessness before
our Lord?
It sounds like this statement is too black and white.......

I hate to say this because I get kidded about it...
But I DO happen to know a theologian that reads the N.T. in Greek...has a PhD in Greek and theology, of course...and I DO speak to him about biblical matters.
I do firmly believe, however, that it's not NECESSARY to know Greek to understand what God wants from us.
And is this not the only reason we read the N.T.?
To find out what Jesus taught so we could get to heaven?
