I used to work at a shop where I kept my own tools and hid them in a box under the worktables them when I wasn't using them. One day I noticed my utility knife was missing. This was the nicest most expensive utility knife that I could find and I take really good care of my tools so I was really upset that someone had taken it and not only used it without permission but failed to put it back. So I asked the other guys if they had used it and they all said no but I know one of the guys often lies about things like that because I caught him lying about work-related things before so I was very suspicious of this person. Anyway, at the end of the day as I was cleaning up I dropped something into my box of tools and I reached down under some clean rags that were on the bottom and there was my utility knife. It had slipped down under a couple of clean rags. :eek::eek::eek:

Been there and done that...

I really try to not blame anyone else, even if I just 'think' the blame, because I'm often wrong. I'm so scatterbrained that I could be the reason for anything, and I would know. Yesterday, I went to the store for some foodstuffs. Came home, put all the food away in the kitchen. Walked away, came back a few minutes later to get a glass of water and noticed that I had left the milk on the counter and put the plastic grocery bag in the fridge...

Gen 2:18 And the LORD God said,"It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”

Well, Lord, she had better have a mind, cause I sure lost mine.

Yes I try not to blame either unless I have some sort of proof but at work I am very meticulous and methodical about everything and so I was very sure I had put the knife in its hiding place the night before. I'm the complete opposite when I'm not at work lol. I forget where I park, I forget where I'm going, I forget why I am going where I went lol. Yes, God knew even with the first man he created that we would need a helper :)

Hmmm...interesting on that point. I can almost hear Adam in the Garden of Eden hollering, "Evvve? Honeyyy? Where did I leave my hunting spear?" Eve:"It's right where you ALWAYS leave it...leaning against the acacia stump right next to the mastodon skull..."

The leaves aren't dirty. They don't need to be picked up and washed yet...I can wear them around the cave on Saturday...

Oh my. That's just frightening. You'd think the guy could at least change into some freshly-picked leaves...

But that would involve getting up off of the couch and going all the way outside...and walking over to the trees...who wants to do that on their day off?

"Oh, again with the apples? I'd think you wouldn't have wanted to touch another apple as long as you live...but as long as you're going to the store, how about some more charcoal for my cave drawings and some cheese for my nachos?"

...or, look at it this way. Prior to the fall, there were no mother-in-laws, whereas after the fall there were Mother-in-laws. The fall brought evil to the world. Therefore, Mother-in-laws=Evil.

It was the merciful thing to do. You can't expect a guy to live through holding his wife's hand through the first childbirth AND deal with a mother in law, can you? :)

Well, to be honest, not having had a mom-in-law before, I wouldn't know which causes more pain...childbirth for the wife, or the mother-in-law for the husband. I'm holding out to get one of those cool mom-in-laws...I've heard they exist.
