This post reeks of ignorance.........Did God forsake them? NO......they were not allowed to enter a position of REST in this life and yet...

a. God led them by day and by night -->pillar of fire and smoke
b. God gave them a system of worship and sacrifice which pointed to Christ
c. God fed them and provided water
d. God healed them BY FAITH when they looked to the brazen serpent
e. God gave them laws and good instruction which ALSO pointed to CHRIST
f. GOD's presence was never taken fro them during this time

Most workers for and salvation losers fail to bring up and or deny the truth of the facts above....and the BIGGIE....UNDER THE LAW ONE SIN = GUILT.............the reason GOD made the wander 40 years and the same reason MOSES was not allowed to ENTER.....1 SIN....

BY your reasoning MOSES was LOST as well.....
I am surprised by this response. So being killed, literally executed for worshipping the golden calf is the same as wandering in the desert?

The LORD replied to Moses, "Whoever has sinned against me I will blot out of my book."
Exodus 32:33

And the LORD struck the people with a plague because of what they did with the calf Aaron had made.
Exodus 32:35

Do not cross God, no matter what covenants or promises that have been made, judgement will come.
Only a fool would be this stupid, knowing what He has done generation after generation to those who
claim to follow Him and walk in His ways, and then abandon Him and live in sin and do not repent.

god will not allow that

Am I speaking to a prophet or is this biblical authority being spoken?
Your speaking to the bible

We are justified by faith, it is the gift of god, it is completed

Sanctification is an ongloing process

As hebrews says, he has perfected forever (justification completed) those who are being sanctified

But if you think you can earn salvation, feel free, i will wish hou luck, you will need it.

IS THAT NOT EXACTLY WHAT YOU BELIEVE?????

if you are a "christian" and you find yourself hating your brother and you die with that bitterness in your heart, do you not teach, that the christian still has eternal life?? yes or no?

if you are a "christian" and commit murder do you, dcon, not teach that this man still has eternal life? yes or no?

the answer is of course you believe this? that is your OSAS doctrine

why are you being such a dishonest snowflake with no integrity, getting offended when i simply explain what you yourself believe?
I do not believe in OSAS, but I believe that the person who is believing in Christ and commits murder, or who dies with "that bitterness in his heart", or who even commits suicide, this person stands forgiven before God and has the gift of eternal life.

But the unbeliever - it takes only one sin - and he is found guilty before God and is condemned to the eternal fire of Gehenna.

I believe in eternal life for the believer, but I do not believe in eternal life for the unbeliever.

You are witnesses, and so is God, of how holy, righteous and blameless we were among you who believed.

Ah, lets see now - I would suggest that if OSAS is true, then there should be a verse that says that once eternal life is given that God will never take it away. Can you give a verse that states that ETERNAL LIFE cannot be lost, forfeited, walked away from, or misplaced?

It is like I said elsewhere, we must start with Scripture and develop doctrine from there. Let's not start with doctrine and then ask others to find Scriptures to disprove our doctrine.
Yes i can

all the verses that say HATH eternal life.

my argument works better than yours because ETERNAL means everlasting, so i can point to that and say thats why it cant be lost etc.

You obviously do not KNOW a Hoot about OSAS Beliefs. Only WHAT YOUR PEOPLE think we Believe.

You need to check out my post #87,123, because I just finished earlier today explaining our REAL Beliefs to Chester.

Amen, that your faith is in Jesus and you love to walk in His ways.

We also know that law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious; for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for adulterers and perverts, for slave traders and liars and perjurers--and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine that conforms to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me.

Some seem to feel only hypocrites would say they were holy, righteous and blameless.
Are you saying we can all equally claim what Paul is claiming about himself?

Whoever believes in him will
I'm sure you didn't mean to misquote this,

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
John 6:35 KJV

Notice the 3 letters eth

Believeth is present tense

It didn't say " he that believed on me shall never thirst"

did Judas go to heaven after he betrayed Jesus and died?
Judas was never saved.

“While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.” John 17:12

Your like the third person now that has responded to this telling me I'm wrong without the guts enough to admit this is exactly what you believe.

Your right about me not knowing a hoot,.....I thought a hoot was someone telling a funny

Paul never considered himself sinless, he lived above reproach as we are all called to do

Not to maintain our salvation, but to work it out.

Yeah i hear that alot

Only one issue

If he gives me eternal life the moment i believe

If he says the moment i believe i will never hunger or thirst, i will never die, i have eternal life

If he says at the moment i believe i will be raised (not might)

Then your theory falls flat. Because i can not havr those things in my possession the moment i believe if they can be lost

Fact is, you call god a liar, saying those things are not true

He never said might in any od those things.

Nice try, but nope.
