It's NESSUNO.

And, yes, some on here DO promote disobedience to God
or they wouldn't be arguing with those of us who believe obedience is necessary to please God...
which it has been from the beginning.
Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden due to disobedience.

Do you think God has changed?
Hebrews 13:8

Mark 9:40
I am FOR God and FOR obeying Him and FOR following all His commandments.
Take it up with Google translate <----that is what I used to translate NONE into Italian

No...we argue with your obedience laced and embellished salvation that can be lost like a euro at the local park and then regained by what you do........make no mistake Fran....this is our argument and why you and I will never agree...........and the truth....the above view taints many of your other views as well

They didnt say that.

But whatever.

Can you tell me what is "worldly"? Is watching sports worldly? is playing sports worldly? is owning a boat worldly? is fishing worldly?
Worldly music, worldly tv, worldly internet, worldly relationships, ... are those who promote sin, immortality, unrighteousness and the like.

Does what you watch and listen to and the relationships you keep, move you closer to God or away from Him?

Exactly. Faith is not merely an exercise of the will and or the mind. It is a gift of God.

Faith is a noun, and comes from God when He speaks to us whether directly or through others.

Believing, which is obeying, is our part in response to God speaking to us, by which we receive faith.

why is it that your Jesus sounds so much like this shepherd --

For I am going to raise up a shepherd over the land who will not care for the lost, or seek the young, or heal the injured, or feed the healthy, but will eat the meat of the choice sheep, tearing off their hooves.

You continuously say that A Child of God MUST be obedient, or he will lose Salvation. It would be silly to pick specific posts, because this is your theme in virtually ALL your posts.

How do you square this view with your favorite verses? Can a Child of God be separated from Him in opposition to those verses?

But why would we?

As you said to me earlier and I requoted your post asking for clarification, yet to respond.

After all a good example of lost sheep coming back is the prodical son.
If that's the case then we do not need to go after the lost sheep.

Not attacking you here but asked you a few times about how the lost sheep returns.

So given the above that you say then the example of the prodical son is not a correct one and is irrelevant?

Your words

The prodigal son is a good example.

Return to the Father in humility and confess your sin, asking for forgiveness.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

No soil is good soil by nature. Soil represents the hearers of the Word. No hearer of the Word is good by nature. Hearers of the Word receive the seed by a special working of the Grace of God. John 6:44, to the end of the chapter.

Soil (hearer of the Word) good or even neutral by nature is pelagianism

Pelagianism is a belief in Christianity that original sin did not taint human nature and that mortal will is still capable of choosing good or evil without special divine aid.

https://www.google.com/searchq=pela...rome..69i57.2967j0j1&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

Semipelagianism- In semipelagian thought, therefore, a distinction is made between the beginning of faith and the increase of faith. Semipelagian thought teaches that the latter half – growing in faith – is the work of God, while the beginning of faith is an act of free will, with grace supervening only later.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Semipelagianism

If a person believes that one can come to Christ without a Spirit wrought repentance and faith, they are teaching easy believism.

A person hears the Gospel, and the Spirit quickens them. Salvation is not a work of man, (decisional regeneration is false), it is the work of GOD.
Are you a farmer?

Do you know about soil?

There is definitely naturally good soil based on the geological history of the land mass......like the Niagara Region naturally fertile soil.

This is basic elementary school science.

I find it funny you are using non scriptural ideas like Pelagianism to understand a parable???

the scripture isn't agnostic.
it doesn't speak about a God who created, then wandered off never to have anything to do with us again.
it says He is active among His people, and those He calls to Himself

I will lead the blind by a way they do not know,
In paths they do not know I will guide them.
I will make darkness into light before them
And rugged places into plains.
These are the things I will do,
And I will not leave them undone.
(Isaiah 42:16)

amen :)

Just for the record as it is dear to my heart.

We are all to seek out those who have gone astray.
We are called to do that rather than just write them off as dirty miserable sinners.
When we do we should be willing to walk with them, get into the nitty gritty of what is going on and disciple them.

If they genuinely have no desire to be discipled then we can step back.

But never ever ever be a Pharisee.
As we judge so will we be judged.

And that's all I to say about that.

I'm not a farmer but done the accounts for an arable farmer.

An awful lot of work has to be done before they can even plant the seed.
Then seeded and crop grows.

When the ploughing season is over then the field is then fallowed.

Do you have any thought of your own...
or you just parrot another member here....

Here's what God wants:

I Samuel 15:22
“And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.” —

So says the daily sinner.

You hate the fact I point out that you yourself are not being obedient because you sin every single day of your life. You love to say "that's not the issue" or "stop attacking me personally" or some other garbage.

The fact is Fran, you and your self-righteous ilk don't like that spotlight of condemnation you love to shine on others, turned back on you.

it is not Jesus who go after the lost sheep, but us.
Jesus gave them this answer: "Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by Himself; He can do only what He sees His Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does."
(John 5:19)

the ensample He gave for us is to see what the Father is doing and join Him in His work.
He said take up His yoke, walking beside and with Him, not take up your own yoke and go plow that other pasture, that He Himself refuses to plow.

if i chase down a stray sheep, it is because that is what He is doing, and i follow Him.
if the man Christ Jesus does nothing but what the Father is doing, am i greater than Him??

"Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of My pasture!”
declares the LORD.
Therefore thus says the LORD God of Israel concerning the shepherds who are tending My people:
“You have scattered My flock and driven them away, and have not attended to them; behold, I am about to attend to you for the evil of your deeds,”
declares the LORD.
"I Myself will gather the remnant of My flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and bring them back to their pasture, and they will be fruitful and multiply. I will also raise up shepherds over them and they will tend them; and they will not be afraid any longer, nor be terrified, nor will any be missing,”
declares the LORD.
(Jeremiah 23:3-4)

i notice He says, you worthless shepherds are scattering My people -- and then He says, He Himself will gather them from where He Himself has driven them

i find this enormously interesting

He also says, He will raise up shepherds to tend them - and none will be missing.
does He say they will gather the missing?
no, He says He will do it. rather emphatically.
