You're up late at night. Randomness creeps into your thoughts. Makes you wonder about things both ridiculous & not. The questions that pop into your mind for no reason whatsoever. Care to share?

I'll start:

What if rocks are actually soft but tense up when we touch them?

I have been told I was as sharp as a rock... now some rocks have some sharp points and some have rounded edges... I have always wondered if it was an insult or complement... Now I know I'm soft in side as long as you don't touch me!!!!

The comedian Gallagher once asked this and it always made me ponder: "If your knees bent the other way, what would a chair look like?"

Well, I'm usually rambling to God about eternity as I fall to sleep. Here are a few things I ponder:

1. I wonder if angels singing voices also sound like instruments, (strings, horns, percussion).

2. I wonder how many new colors we'll see in the eternal realm.

3. I hope there are aromas in heaven. I don't know why there wouldn't be cuz God likes sweet fragrances.

4. Besides the Lord Jesus, who will be there to greet me when I enter eternity? I hope it's my dad & mom, my husband, my son, my aunt & uncle, my spiritual mom Betty, and my friends Jim, Ginny & Jeanne. Maybe Apostle Paul, too. Who knows? It could happen.

I must be rare as the moment I shut my eyes, I’m asleep.

If I do wake up in the middle of the night, I often wake up
trying to work out which day it is and did I remember to put the bin out
for the early morning collection.

A couple of times I’ve jumped awake thinking, oh blow it I forgot to do it.
Then quickly thrown on some jeans and t shirt and gone to put the
bin out. Only to get downstairs and realise it’s not bin day.

Have you any idea how annoying that it! Especislly when it’s freezing
outside.

It only seems to happen when I’m stressed.

I've done that before. Isn't it funny how that almost always happens when it's cold outside?

Yes exactly! I thought I was the only one.

Thing is we have different coloured bin collections on different days, so it’s
easy to get confused.

I assume that the "different colors" mean different bins for garbage and types of recyclables?

Sometimes when the carers come, they forget to bolt the side gate when they
leave. Then at night time if it gets very windy, it slams against the side of the
house and wakes me up.

Several times I’ve got up to shut it in the early hours of the morning, sometimes
it has been our gate, other times it’s been the neighbours. So I’ve sneaked into
their garden in the dark in the middle of the night to shut it! Lol

Yeah we’ve got a black bin for general rubbish collected every two weeks.
A green one for recycling collected alternative weeks to the black one.

Also a brown garden waste bin collecting mid week every two weeks.

Why do the words flammable and inflammable mean the same thing?

I googled this and found out that inflammable is the original word. Companies started using the word "flammable" (which didn't exist) because the prefix "in" was confusing to people since it looks like it means "not flammable". (I used to think that too lol)

How come it seems like the older I get, the harder it is to stay awake all day.
