The hypocrisy of the left Part: I

i dont know how else to explain it. how are you not seeing those are the same?

communism didnt work out that simple and many times didnt work but in many cases did work or at least elevated the standard of the time. before communism russia was the poorest country in russia.

i dont think communism is a good system. neither is capitalism. but screaming capitilism is the savior and communism is the devil is very foolish when its in the bible. maybe not the exact same but the idea in itself is. the only time capitalism has worked was when it was tightly regulated. remove the regulation and you get what we had in 1900, the philipines, and what we are moving to today. the mass poverty and enormous gap between rich and poor. the manopaly board game is a very good example of capitalism, the few get it all.

See this is the huge difference you keep missing, capitalism never claims to be saviour, it knows people are inherently flawed but endeavours to provide circumstances under which individuals can flourish.

Socialism is based completely on the premise that it can fix everything that is wrong with society and not only that it promises to eradicate poverty which we know will never happen because Jesus tells us the exact opposite.

ok not 100% of the wealth, 80, or maybe 70, who knows for sure, what ever it is makes little difference. the general idea is the wealth is pulled from everyone.

Communism and Socialism TAKES wealth and redistributes; Christianity as it was seen in the book of Acts wealth was GIVEN.

but this is exactly how capitalism is marketed to us in school and media. we are told it works great and anyone that is critical of it is labeled a evil communist

that is how socialism is presented. i agree. i dont thnk it fixes everything but in many cases it worked well, or at least better than what they had before.

Well I am sorry you were taught wrong.

A person who has study economics both from a philosophical and applied perspective would tell you, you have been given the wrong message.

It is sad because this false presentation is now having a backlash and people in the USA seem to be moving towards believing that socialism will work and will solve a multitude of problems, but it will not, because it has fundamental flaws in its premise about the nature of people.

Well I truly appreciate your candour, it helps me understand and very interesting because I do not live in the USA.

there are many things about socialism i like. i like public utilities. when i was a kid AP&L (arkansas power and light) did all the elect and gas. it was owned by the state, it had a board like a city council. its goal was to provide affordable utilities, it even made a small profit that went back to the state. no one complained, your light bill was a very small expense. now its gone, replaced by a private company and many get their lights turned off every day because they can not afford it.

Well utilities is messy one for sure and very complicated whether state or privately owned.

Communism is godless, evil the flag-Political-Philosophy of the "New Green World Oder," and responsible for more deaths then The Plague, and is the quickest way (Communist economy) to destroy a country through the worst economic system in history.

You're opinion is noted. The fact remains it was practiced by Jesus and the 12 and John and the essenes. As much as you don't like it, thats not going to change.

Jesus preached His Word, not the word of Karl Marx. That is a blasphemous statement you are making you may not be aware of. God is a jealous God and calling what He did Communism is worshiping that Communist, atheist god above Him - putting those vein imaginations above Him -- I know, I thought like that once

blasphemy is profaning the name of the Most High. you need some basic Sunday school learning.

and a few more verses against greed, money, and turning those in need away.

Acts 4:32
And the congregation of those who believed were of one heart and soul; and not one of them claimed that anything belonging to him was his own, but all things were common property to them.
Ecclesiastes 5:10
10 He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves wealth with his income; this also is vanity.
Hebrews 13:5
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.
