Dam collapse in Brazil. Accident or crime?

On the left upper quadrant of the photo below is the site where hundreds of workers were eating lunch when the dam collapsed, and to this date over a hundred of them are still buried in the sludge. Why did the mining company choose a site below the reservoir bottom to put up the administration building and the cafeteria?

On the left lower quadrant you see an area that has not at all been affected by the sea of sludge, and further to the left there are excellent sites above the reservoir level that are still available for building. And the green areas on right could have been used as well.

Why did the mining company choose that site? Who can bring those 320 people back to life?

Well, if there was foul play, God will know. I feel for their families and friends.

when did this happen?
On January 25th, and the failure was caught on a security camera. You can see in the video below the exact moment when the dam burst. One kilometer downstream, the sludge washed away the cafeteria with hundreds of workers in it. The railroad bridge you see in the video (and in the picture below the video) is located 3 km downstream from the dam. The stream of sludge was so violent that it knocked down the mid portion of the bridge.

Sure, God will know!

Brazil arrests eight Vale employees in alleged cover-up in dam disaster
SAO PAULO/RIO DE JANEIRO (Reuters) - Brazilian police arrested eight employees of mining firm Vale SA on Friday, accused by state prosecutors of covering up weaknesses at a dam that collapsed and likely killed more than 300 people.

Boeing 737 Max 8 crash in Ethiopia.

I'm sorry for all the people who lost their lives in Ethiopia last Wednesday, and for their families.

I interacted with Boeing engineers for two years (1991 - 1992) and I can say that -- at least back then -- they were head and shoulders above their competitors in terms of humility. They were open to suggestions and always encouraged us to ask questions about their pilot-instruction manuals and airplane systems. True humility is essential for flight safety and most Boeing engineers never let their egos get in the way of achieving excellence both in manufacturing and in properly instructing operators. Sometimes their manuals were revised just to improve the wording.

Unfortunately I cannot say the same about their competitors , especially an European one. Most of them are like Pontius Pilate: "What I have written, I have written". They hate suggestions and won't even consider revising any portion of their manuals in order to improve clarity.

I wish the best for Boeing Company and I think they really deserve our respect.

nothing 'worldly' deserves a true Christian's respect...
So you mean you're a true Christian and I am not? OK! There are many worldly people and things that I respect: My oncologist, for example. She is not a Christian, but she saved my life and I respect her very much.

saving a life is a 'Godly Principle', - reading your own meaning into mine is way off -

we, hub and I don't throw subtle darts, we say what we mean in our own God Given Way...

Oh man that is tragic man. Just tragic. Oh well. God gives and God takes. Our thoughts and prayers to those effected as always with the main one being that God's will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Look mate the way I see it yeah is that really nobody knew that this was going to happen obviously. If they did they wouldn't have built there would they?

Anyway in moments like that you can't look to blame only to heal.

One of my best friends at work years ago was a Muslim who acted more Christian than most Christians that I knew at the time.

God simply is showing us that we 'need to improve' and the muslins are bearing witness for Him -
He owns it all!:):)

Can you see a question mark at the end of "so you mean you're a true Christian and I am not?"? I'm just asking you a question.

I didn't read my meaning into your statement, I just read what you wrote (nothing 'worldly' deserves a true Christian's respect).

What is the subtle dart you think I threw at you?

Are you a man or a woman? I always thought you were a man, but now I am confused because you said: "hub and I".

I, too, had a Muslim co-worker in Turkey (Antalya) who acted more Christian than most Christians.
