It is never a teaching of God through Jesus and His disciples to save themselves but to labor for the sake of those who would be saved through FAITH in Christ for the glory of God.
The body of Christ is led by the Spirit to do what the Head commands them to do. The Lord is the Spirit.
We work not for our own benefit but for the benefit of other people.
It is God's work to save His people.
We are His fellow workers and instruments of His righteousness.
We are the good and faithful servants of God who obey His commands and therefore bear fruit that will last.
A dead tree will not bear fruit and is cut down and thrown into the fire...just as the body without the spirit is dead, faith without works is dead also.
"REMAIN IN HIM AND HE WILL REMAIN IN YOU."
...You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. DO NOT BE ARROGANT, BUT BE AFRAID. For if God did not spare the natural branches, HE WILL NOT SPARE YOU EITHER. Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you CONTINUE in his kindness. Otherwise, YOU ALSO WILL BE CUT OFF. Romans 11:19-22

Scripture is never a secret, and if you knew etymology and did your homework you would know you peddle Catholic doctrine based on

I'd like to pity you.
As I thought, you are lost. The ONLY obstacle to receiving the Truth is that you think you already have it.
I pray the Holy Spirit will reveal your gross error. But in the mean time we can't allow YOU to make others TWICE a child of Hell.
That is why we must continue to proclaim, and not be ashamed, of the ONE TRUE GOSPEL unto Salvation since you reject Scripture and do not think yourself worthy of Eternal Life.

And said through John;

...“If you love me, you will obey what I command. John 14:15
Thus Paul said;
...I have written you quite boldly on some points, as if to remind you of them again, because of the grace God gave me to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles with the priestly duty of proclaiming the gospel of God, so that the Gentiles might become an offering acceptable to God, sanctified by the Holy Spirit. Therefore I glory in Christ Jesus in my service to God. I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me in leading the Gentiles to obey God by what I have said and done—Romans 15:15-18
