If you have to ask!?!...

Have you ever submitted to G-d's will instead of your own? Have you ever denied your flesh?

If you answered "yes", you are saved. If you answered no, I would repent because these things, for me, happen daily....

"And...will not the 'Kingdom of God'....be found in the most unlikely place."
"And...but a 'few' shall know of 'deliverance' of sin...And...are we ALL not within the mercy of

'God's Kingdom'."

IF you "forget" to repent or choose not to you didn't have salvation in the first place.

But we may have different definitions of repent.

I define repent as turning away from your own ways and turning to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Anytime you go to the Lord and ask for His Gifts and/or His Will you are repenting. You are putting down your burden of self-reliance and putting on His Yoke of Power and Strength.

2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

How do I deny myself - bear my own cross daily - and follow Jesus to stay saved?
You can’t. Because nothing you could do could make you worthy of Salvation.

But you can do that as a child of God to make your salvation life more blessed

We are now in the grace dispensation, no longer under law.
The law never saved anyone.. All the law can do is condemn, because NO ONE can or has kept it (except Jesus) Salvation has always been by grace,

5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. Rev. 3

As you have read, it is possible.

The only way to God is through Jesus Christ (John 14:6)...the only way to Jesus Christ is by the Means of the Cross (Luke 14:27). The only way to the Cross is a denial of self (Luke 9:23). If any person tries to come any other way, Jesus says, "they are a thief and a robber" (John 10:1).
Who is he who overcomes?

1 John 4: . 4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—[a]our faith. 5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

It always seems like we are trying to do everything our own way and we are going to bring Christ with us.

But we always end up doing things Christs Way and He is the One bringing us with Him.

For My Flesh is meat indeed, and My Blood is drink indeed (the idea is that one must continue eating and drinking even on a daily basis, which speaks of bearing the Cross daily [Lk. 9:23]).

As far as trying to do something as it concerns taking up the Cross daily, we are to do nothing. In fact, it was already done at Calvary some two thousand years ago. On a daily basis, we should reinforce our Faith in Christ and what He has done for us at the Cross (Rom. 6:3-5; 8:2, Gal. 2:20-21, Col. 2:10-15). This is the "Truth" which we must learn, act upon, and continue to act upon, which guarantees the help of the Holy Spirit.

He who eats My Flesh, and drinks My Blood, dwells in Me, and I in him (the only way that one can dwell in Christ and Christ in him, which guarantees a victorious, overcoming life, is for the Cross to ever be the Object of Faith and, as stated, on a daily basis). John 6:55-56

Question? Based on the following scripture (John 6:66) below are these people who are called Disciples still saved in John 6:66?

John 6:53 - "Except you eat the Flesh of the Son of Man, and drink His Blood, you have no life in you," (presents the demand that caused "many of His Disciples to go back, and walk no more with Him" (John 6:66). It does the same presently! This Verse tells us the degree of believing that is required; it refers to the Cross being the total Object of one's belief; failing that, there is no Life in you).

John 6:66 - From that time many of His Disciples went back, and walk no more with Him.

Talk about pulling a verse out of context

John 6 speaks of eatin food which endures forever, that whoever eats will never die. As apposed to those who ate Manna, Who died/

It is not saying keep eat. It is saying when you eat it, The power of that food endures forever, it never dies. Nor will you.

I think it is everyones experience.

But we are really stubborn. Some even more than others. Stiff-necked the bible calls it. I always thought that was a funny description. I know its not funny in truth.

In (a) reality? It's actually something one can feel!
I myself at one time thought it was rather an O.T. cliche!
But, it ain't!
Same same with hard hardedness!
Just some things one picks up along the "trail", so to speak. ;)

"For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. " - ( Galatians 6:3 )

We need to deny we are 'something' and acknowledge we are 'nothing'.

Of ourselves we don't know where we came from, why we are here or what, if anything, happens to us after death.
We cannot make one hair white or black.

"Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. " - ( John 6:68 )

The only reason people 'own' possessions like land in this world is because people say so.
But the truth is everything in this world belongs to God.

"And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else's property, who will give you property of your own? " - ( Luke 16:12 )

"Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. " - (Galatians 5:24 )

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. " ( 2 Corinthians 5:17 )

"And everyone will hate you because you are my followers. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. " - (Mark 13:13)

So, in summary, we need to stop being king of our own lives, and every day to do the "Work of God" which is to believe in Jesus (not just His cross ), and gradually we will be transformed into this 'new creation', and all our joy will come from serving God instead of from entertainments and pleasures. And we will look forward to the day He calls us home.

And then we will "walk even as He walked" - (1 John 2:6 )

There's a hard and harder part of what you said!
The hard part is "coming to grips" with and in Christ.
The harder part is "coming to grips" with that which the Father wants of, or from you!
Because, sometimes? What the Father wants? Is quite different from everyone you see around you.
The smart thing to do, is walk away from 'em.
As one finds that there are just some places, or some beliefs, where one simply cannot go! And, not for lack of wanting to "fit in", so to speak. Because, no matter how hard one tries? Ya just "ain't with the in crowd!" ;)

sometimes, we who love our Saviour so much, our conscience' convicts us so much
with the prompting of The Holy Spirit that we see ourselves 'repenting'
over and over and over, and this is what is expected of us -
so much so, that we will often find ourselves convicting ourselves of things that we
are not guilty of, this is just 'PRACTICE',:):)...
