Do you repent for EVERY deed, (overt and covert), word, or even thought that rises up in your head against the Word of G-d?

Have you lost your Salvation?
If you asking me, no I don't, because I believe in Jesus's sacrifice is far superior to the OT bulls and goats, such that I have no more conscience of sins. (Hebrews 10:2)

If God wants me to have no consciousness of sin, why would he want me to deliberately remember them so as to confess to him? :)

I try to confess my sins all day,, Not just at the end of the day, also know I probably will not remember all the sins I have done, so I confess them also as 1 John 1: 9 tells me to do.
Good for you and all the best.

As for me, no I don't, because I believe in Jesus's sacrifice is far superior to the OT bulls and goats, such that I have no more conscience of sins. (Hebrews 10:2)

If God wants me to have no consciousness of sin, why would he want me to deliberately remember them, so as to confess to him? :)

God tells you not onyu to confess your sin to him but to each other.

If we do not confess our sins, how are we going to be healed from them?

Free gift but not by force. Jesus offer salvation for free, but up to you to respon

Free but there are requirements.

What are the requirements

1. Accept jesus
2. Bear his cross
So the next time you tell your kid, "I am giving you this free gift because I love you".

The kid replies, "Wow a free gift, thanks Dad! I receive it because I believe that you are a good Dad that wants me to enjoy this gift!

Will you then tell him "There are actually requirements for you to fulfill, for you to keep this free gift"

If you do, will he still think the gift is free? :)

You are right, that is why I was careful to state that my point is only about confessing sins to God. My point is that, as far as the vertical relationship is concerned, sin is no longer an issue between God and you. I don't believe that 1 John 1:9 is for the believer, but I know many Christians who do.

But as for horizontal relationships, yes, you might need to confess your sins to your fellow men and ladies, because you need to have peace with them. They are not God too so they don't forgive you like how God would forgive you. :)

That is such a strange answer.... Someone who does not know hat OT and NT fit together like a glove!!!!

I AM A BIG BELIEVE ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED....

I would love to be PERFECT like you and have O SIN TO CONFESS. I cannot even remember every word, thought, and deed at the end of the day I have sinned.... if I catch it during the day, I repent right way, not to be saved, but for my relationship.... I have bee saved since Feb. 1991, and at any point if I would have died I would have moved home to heaven.... I have been back slide a lot over almost 30 years.... HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SAVED BUT LET ME TELL YOU THERE IS A BIB DIFFERENCE IN LIVING LIFE!!!!!!

I am not God, so your analogy is not aplicable

This is what God say about the requirement to be save

John 3:16 King James Version (KJV)
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Seem to me it say whosoever believe/require to believe.

But the perfection is not because of me, is because of Jesus. He gave me his robe of righteousness. You see the difference?

(KJV) Isaiah 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

To understand the degree of this “completely righteous”, take a look at three testimonies of Jesus righteousness from Peter, John, and Paul

1) Peter, a man of action, said in 1 Peter 2:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth

2) John, a man of love, said in 1 John 3:5, You know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin.

3) Paul, a man of intellect, said in 2 Cor 5:21, For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

So when God sees me now, he sees me as one who did no sin, knew no sin, and in me there is no sin. And the best part about this is, its all a gift, from Jesus himself. Isn't the gospel of Grace wonderful? :)

That is what "believe" to me means, accept it and say thank you! Its not taking up the cross, denying yourself...blah blah blah. That is the difference between grace and law.

Why are you preaching to the chroir? We are on a different page of the same Book... Just like most Christians!!!!

I will go to heaven because perfection is not of me... I repent the best I can (missing many sins in a day, ever repented for) because I still live.

Have you ever bee backslidden?

I don't regard this perspective as someone from the same choir. You seem to view sanctification as a work, that is why you said you would love to be perfect, implying that you are currently not, in the eyes of God. To me, you are separating the garment of salvation from the robe of righteousness.

But sanctification, to me, is also a gift that comes together with salvation. Both the garment and the robe came together when we accept Christ's free gift. What God put together, man should not try to separate.

I am not completely understand what your believe.

Are you believe to be save do not need to bear your cross?

Matt 10
38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

I realize ow you don't know the love I have for my Daddy!!!! I would LOVE TO BE PERFECT AND NEVER HURT HIM!!! But because of Y-shua, He is my RIGHTIOUSNESS BEFORE G-D.... When I stand before Him at the Great White Throne Judgment…

But I try every day to carry my cross before Him... but I do fail somewhere in word, thought, or deed, and repent to the best of my human ability because if I don't I promise you pride creeps in, but as for Salvation that was settled February 14th 1991 and from that day until ow ad the day G-d calls me home I am saved not by works but by Y-shua and the POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT TO KEEP ME!!!!!

Matt 10
38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
People tend to think the New Covenant of Grace began when Jesus was born on Earth. But it only began after Jesus shed his blood on the cross. Think of the 4 Gospels more of the conclusion of the OT, rather than the beginning of the NT, Acts being the book of transition.

When Jesus was walking on Earth, he was there to fulfill the law on our behalf. He was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel (Matthew 15:24, Romans 15:8) All of us Gentiles were not included in his ministry, and we had no right to the covenant (Ephesians 2:11-12)

Thus, when Jesus told his Jewish listeners to take up the cross and follow him, he was preaching the law. But after he died, the way to the Father has now changed. After the Jews rejected him in the beginning of Acts, Paul was raised as our apostle, the apostle to the Gentiles.

And the Holy Spirit reveal to Paul things that Jesus wanted all his believers, Jews and Gentiles to follow (John 16:12-13)

TLDR version: As a Gentile believer, take your doctrine more from Paul's letters, instead of trying to fit the 4 Gospels into the gospel of Grace.

Nice to read about your great love for Daddy God. Keep it up.

As for me, I prefer to follow the Apostle John's advice and boast more about his great love for me instead (1 John 4:10)

Cheers.
