I'm going to get back on the band wagon tomorrow! Only water or green tea for drink and healthier food choices (dunno what yet, let ya know tomorrow) and gonna get a good workout in too!

Instead of green tea you might want to consider Mountain Dew so that you can get your daily adult amount of caffeine. Pop is mostly water so you're all set on that too. Beside that, it's green.

Good for you! I already eat fairly healthy, and started a serious exercise regimen after a recent illness.

Instead of green tea you might want to consider Mountain Dew so that you can get your daily adult amount of caffeine. Pop is mostly water so you're all set on that too. Beside that, it's green.

YUCK! EWWWWWW!!! I can't stand Mountain Dew, lol. Nope, pop is carbonated SUGAR WATER. NOT GOOD! Actually, I did this not to long ago............. went cold turkey on the pop, switched to mostly water, didn't eat after around 7pm (including the late night indulgences while no ones around to whine and beg for some, lol) increased fruits and veggies etc........... lost about 10lbs in 2 1/2 weeks, sleep quality improved, wasn't tired as soon as waking up, ( was close to 2pm before tiredness would hit) REALLY LEARNED ABOUT denying the flesh during that time too because the cravings got SO INTENSE! Then the kids got sick, then I got sick, and then well.......... "just this one trip to the drive through won't hurt" (JUST ONE BITE............) and well, yeah that kinda messed me up again. And we all know what happend when the term "One bite won't hurt you" was first used.........................

Coconut water is excellent for hydration. I like the Propel water also. I also drink aloe vera water.

Soda is bad for you, it actually dries you out and makes you MORE thirsty and it's actually more sugar than water. I hardly ever drink soda, maybe once a year on my birthday and/ or New Years. And even then it's only 1 bottle.

But yeah, coconut water is good. It has electrolytes, which is good because you lose electrolytes when you sweat.

personally I always thought it should read " nobody can eat one" lol, yeah even when I was a kid I thought that cuz I never really liked 'em.

Oh well. Got SOME stretching in today. Yikes! The muscles deep inside we don't often realize are there, lol. If I keep it up then maybe soon I'll be able to see them, (meaning this padding will go byebye and sculpt a leaner/healthier silhouette).

Yeahhhh, sooooooo when I started this thread till now............ not much success........ The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Gonna give it a go again today! about 2 months ago when I tried (before everyone got sick and I got back into bad habits) I lost almost 10 lbs in 3 weeks just from dropping the soda, drinking only water/green tea, upping the fruits/veggies and nearly eliminating the carbs,
Time to get back in the saddle............... here it goes:

it's really so sad that people will choose to eat what causes to make them to be sick -
it's no secret about 'refined-sugar', etc., it is one of the leading causes of death -
many researchers have defined the addiction to 'refined-sugar', as WORSE than 'cocaine' -
main-stream', Dr. OZ, and many other well-known professionals have done shows/research that proves
just how detrimental to our lives this poison truly is -
in Biblical-terms', it's just another LUST of our flesh - that satan tempts us with...

just remember, Eve was also tempted to 'eat'...

I attended a health fair at a local university, they had an assortment of plastic soda bottles with just sugar, the amount
they said the ingredient list indicated, it was very scary, however, there amounts were WAY LARGER than in this video, some 1/2, some 1/3 filled,it left me with a lasting impression, thus I wanted to find something to share here as a help for all.

I know Derek Prince had a fantastic relationship with the Lord, and he only drank water, William Branham was told by way of divine inspiration there was a great plan for his life and he should neither smoke nor drink.
Jesus told us in John 16-13 when Holy Spirit comes He will guide, speak and show all truth, I know of no one who has been guided to suck down a 2 liter of malted battery acid,(soda). lol

Since you mentioned Derek (wonderful teacher he was) this is the teaching of his that I was listening to that I ended up going cold turkey on junk food with. I actually had a large soda from the drive through that was full and dumped it in the sink. But like old/new said...... Eve was tempted with "just one bite" we all know what happened next........
