I am not a Jew
HUH?

The 70 weeks of judgment do not have anything to do with me.?
the 70th does or you are dead in your sins.

Some forget that there is a physical nation Israel, and a spiritual nation Israel.
yes. some do. learn to spot them now while you can.

God called both, but one has never accepted Him, always hardening their hearts against Him to not hear His voice. The spiritual nation of Israel has always heard Him and feared Him and loved Him.

There is no place in any of the prophets where the 70 weeks is tied into the forgiveness of our sins..
Daniel 9:24
Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

WHAT DOES IT SAY IN BLUE ABOVE?

here it is again....if this isn't about Jesus, and forgiveness of sins, what are you putting your hope in?

1) To finish the transgression;
2) To make an end of sins;
3) To make reconciliation for iniquity;
4) To bring in everlasting righteousness;
5) To seal the vision and the prophecy;
6) To anoint the Most Holy.

who is the Most Holy?
when was he annointed?

That is accomplished only and completely by Jesus' atonement on the cross. But even in this is not complete salvation, because He had to rise again to life. In His resurrection we are saved..
and the 70 weeks ARE NOT ABOUT JESUS CHRIST PAYING YOUR SIN DEBT ON THE CROSS?

70 weeks were decreed for Daniels people, to finish transgression, (there are still transgressions,) to make an end to sin, (there are still sins,) to make atonement for iniquity, (there is still iniquity, and all iniquity has not been atoned for >> BLASPHEMY!,) to bring in everlasting righteousness, (we certainly don't see everlasting righteousness yet,)?
read what you wrote:

God called both, but one has never accepted Him, always hardening their hearts against Him to not hear His voice. The spiritual nation of Israel has always heard Him and feared Him and loved Him.
to seal up the vision and prophecy, (prophecy is not over yet, not until all of vision of the revelation of Jesus Christ which John saw is complete,)
TO PUT AN OFFICIAL SEAL/STAMP OF COMPLETION. seal....signet....
FINISHED.

get serious Vic. (and quick if you still can)

and to anoint the most holy place.
>>>>TEMPLE???? BLASPHEMY!

1) To finish the transgression;
2) To make an end of sins;
3) To make reconciliation for iniquity;
4) To bring in everlasting righteousness;
5) To seal the vision and the prophecy;
6) To anoint the Most Holy.

This final condition that the 70 weeks will bring about, the anointing of the most holy place; what is this? The temple in Jerusalem. It has not been anointed in a very long time, it is still not anointed.?
BLASPHEMY.

Hebrews 9
23 Thus it was necessary for the copies of the heavenly things to be purified with these rites, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24 For Christ has entered, not into holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true things, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf. 25 Nor was it to offer himself repeatedly, as the high priest enters the holy places every year with blood not his own, 26 for then he would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But as it is, he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

THEN WHAT????????

27 And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, 28 so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

THE REST OF YOUR POST IS PERFECT.....for the Christian Zionists. Hagee'll be happy to have you.

you gonna go worship G-d in Jerusalem Vic?

This is just MYTH. There is no real proof that Jesus ministry fulfilled one half of the 70th week at all. It is man's imagination, and it does not fit the book of Daniel.

Dan 9
27And he shall enter into a strong and firm covenant with the many for one week [seven years]. And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and offering to cease [for the remaining three and one-half years]; and upon the wing or pinnacle of abominations [shall come] one who makes desolate, until the full determined end is poured out on the desolator.

This is the amplified and correctly shows the intent of the author: the sacrifices are ceased for the remainder of the 7 years of the final week, still in our future. Here is the SAME 3.5 years:

Dan 7
25And he shall speak words against the Most High [God] and shall wear out the saints of the Most High and think to change the time [of sacred feasts and holy days] and the law; and the saints shall be given into his hand for a time, two times, and half a time [three and one-half years].

Do you wish to make the "he" here, Jesus? No, I don't think so. This is not the Christ here, this is the ANTI-Christ. And this 3.5 years is still very much in our future. Dan. 11: from about verse 36 on, tells us of the first half of the week, still events in our future.

WHO is the first "he" in verse 27 above? By all rules of writing, we must go back the the first person mentioned.

Dan 9:26... And the people of the [other] prince who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end shall come with a flood; and even to the end there shall be war, and desolations are decreed.

So WHO is the first person mentioned? "The prince" of the people that come to destroy the city: that would be Titus, of the Roman people. But he came in 70 AD that does not fit with the first 3.5 years being Christ's time on earth. But a NEW prince from the same land area as the old Roman Empire, into a NEW 7 year period in our future, and it fits. It is the Antichrist in our future that will enter into a covenant with many for the final 7 years. Unless, of course, you wish to make Jesus the prince that destroyed the city?

Coop

Sorry, the prince of the people that came and destroyed the city was NOT Jesus Christ. It was Titus and the Roman's that destroyed the city. And it will be a new leader from the land area of the Eastern leg of the Roman Empire that will enter into an agreement with many for one week.

Remember what I said, for you will see it come to pass.

Here is a prophecy given recently, by Jesus:

He is still saying what He said in His word:

"All will know soon how very close the time is. I will give you direction. You will know what I require of you. All will happen soon. Everything is in the works. I have been patient with My people, but the time has come to soon make our departure. The world will realize how soon it is coming.

Many things will change for those left behind. It will be their worst nightmare. I am sad for those who will be left, but this is their choice, not mine. My choice is for them to come with Me, but they have freewill to come or stay. They are invited, but I will not force them. The choice is theirs to make. Why choose death? This is My question. My Spirit calls them. I cannot do this for them—they must choose. I can wait long suffering; I can invite; I can plead; I can encourage; I can argue my position—but I won’t force. No one is forced. They must decide.

All is ready. The waiting is up. The clock is winding down. The door is about to close. Many will be left. I am a patient God—I have been patient with My children. I will lose many to the enemy. It will happen. My heart breaks for them, but this is their choice."

"I am not a fable. I am not a tale. I live among you. I live in My bride. My Spirit dwells within My bride, but soon My bride will be removed and the protection I have provided her will be lifted from the earth. I protect My bride and keep her safe, but soon she will not be among you. She will have left you to go to safety. Life will change without the bride among you and My Spirit that lives within her. The change will be obvious and painful for all those left behind."

"The season is changing. Swiftly comes the change. The people sleep. Soon they will wake, but not in time to be taken. Many, many will be left behind. What a sorrowful moment. I truly regret that so many do not seek ME. I am sorry for their loss. I cannot change their minds if they refuse to pay attention to MY warnings in MY Book and the warnings of the times. Everything coordinates. Just as I said it would."

"Many will be left behind. Will you be one of them? I have given you all many words by now, I suggest you re-read them all and take them seriously and ask Me to examine your heart and motives in everything you do. Your own heart can be very deceptive. I am a HOLY God and without holiness, no one can enter My Kingdom.

I have prepared the wedding feast. All is done. I hope you are also entering. I cannot and will not tolerate sin. Don’t think it doesn’t matter because you think I am a God of love and grace. I explained to you before. Everybody who searches Me earnestly has to go through the purifying fire. Have you been there? If not, you are not ready to enter My Kingdom."

"I have given so many warnings by now and still people do not know the hour. They plan and act as if these Words of Mine are just a fable, a simple cheap fable, just another story. I tell you many will be left behind. Only My pure bride who stands with Me in this last hour will be saved and enter My Kingdom.

I see many planning now for the next year: their future, their career. What future is there if they don’t consult Me first in their planning? The end of the year is coming for all of you, I know. And many have been waiting and longing for My return, I know. My precious bride is ready. Please hear these words My bride: the time is near. Your longing to see Me will soon be satisfied. All is ready for you in heaven. You will be astonished."

"MY people, this brief moment is about to happen. In your heart you know this, but I am sorry you refuse to believe. You knew the day would arrive. MY Book and the signs I have given have been described and clear to you. Think about your heart you know this, but I am sorry you refuse to believe. You knew the day would arrive. MY Book and the signs I have given have been described and clear to you. Think about what keeps you from realizing with great sorrow? What causes you to be so resistant to MY pleadings and how the signs in the world are actually described in MY Book coming into reality?"

Seventh-day Adventist eschatology

The Seventh-day Adventist Church holds a unique system of eschatological (or end-times) beliefs. Adventist eschatology, which is based on a historicist interpretation of prophecy, is characterised principally by the premillennial second coming of Jesus Christ. Traditionally, the church has taught that the second coming will be preceded by a global crisis with the Sabbath as a central issue. At Jesus' return, the righteous will be taken to heaven for one thousand years. After the millennium the unsaved will be punished by annihilation while the saved will live on a recreated Earth for eternity.

The foremost sources are the biblical books of Daniel and Revelation. Jesus' statements in Matthew 24 for instance, as well as many other Bible verses are also used. The classic Adventist commentary on the end-times was Uriah Smith's Daniel and the Revelation. The writings of Ellen G. White have also been highly influential, particularly the last part of her book The Great Controversy. "Prophecy seminar"s, developed since the mid-20th century, have been a key popular source.

YOU GOT A FUTURE ANTICHRIST IN DAN 7, WHICH YOU SLIPPED IN BETWEEN CHRIST'S WORK AND TITUS IN DAN 9.

"But he came in 70 AD that does not fit with the first 3.5 years being Christ's time on earth."

and upon thy holy city,
and upon thy holy city,
and upon thy holy city,
and upon thy holy city,

Daniel 9:24
Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

1) To finish the transgression;
2) To make an end of sins;
3) To make reconciliation for iniquity;
4) To bring in everlasting righteousness;
5) To seal the vision and the prophecy;
6) To anoint the Most Holy.

DAN 9:27
And he (Jesus) shall confirm the covenant (Rom 15:8) with many for one week (70th): and in the midst of the week he (Jesus) shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease (by the Cross), and for the overspreading of abominations (of the Temple cult and the Romans) he shall make it (the Temple) desolate, even until the consummation (70AD destruction), and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate (the Temple torn down, not one stone standing upon another).

and upon thy holy city,
and upon thy holy city,
and upon thy holy city,
You can fit Jesus into that verse, but that is not the intent of the author. May I suggest English 101? When there is a pronoun, you must BACK UP to see who that pronoun is referring to. In this case it is the prince (Titus) of the people (Roman soldiers) that destroyed the city and the temple.

Are you willing to say that Jesus possessed Titus at that point in time, and caused Titus to come to Jerusalem?

Next, may I suggest you read Jesephus and find out what Antiochus did in the temple, since that is a TYPE of what the Antichrist will do in the future. Sorry, but Titus did not fulfill this. No false god was set up in the holy place to represent the God of Creation. But the Antichrist WILL copy what Antiochus did, as the anti-type. So no matter how you slice it, Jesus is NOT the one that will stop the daily sacrifices. In fact, to show you how TOTALLY SILLY your argument is, the daily sacrifices continued for about 70 years AFTER Jesus rose from the dead. It was NOT Jesus that stopped them, it was TITUS and the Roman army.

So your theories are just that, theories, coming from human imagination. They do not fit the scriptures.

Did you not read?

Dan 11-12
45And he shall pitch his palatial tents between the seas and the glorious holy Mount [Zion]; yet he shall come to his end with none to help him
1AND AT that time [of the end] Michael shall arise, the great [angelic] prince who defends and has charge of your [Daniel's] people. And there shall be a time of trouble, straitness, and distress such as never was since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the Book [of God's plan for His own].

At WHAT time? This is the SAME TIME Jesus mentioned:

Mat. 24:15 So when you see the appalling sacrilege [the abomination that astonishes and makes desolate], spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the Holy Place--let the reader take notice and [g]ponder and consider and heed [this]--(A)
16Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains...

So again, WHEN is this speaking of? It is the MIDPOINT of the 70th week IN THE FUTURE. John speaks of this SAME TIME: when Jesus said to FLEE:

Revelation 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

What is this saying? There will be a FUTURE time, when Paul's man of sin will walk into the Holy Place of a new temple, and declare that HE IS GOD. Then, He will set up (place) there the IMAGE we read of in Rev. 13. This is the abomination Jesus spoke of. You will note that John wrote Revelation about 95 AD, about 25 year AFTER the destruction of Jerusalem - so no possible way anything in Revelation is concerning 70 AD events.

Next, we read that she is protected for 1260 days. Do you imagine that this is half of seven by coincidence?
NEVER! It is half of a seven year period IN OUR FUTURE.

Notice, John too mentions the HOLY city, Jerusalem. It is "BABYLON THE GREAT."

Rev 17
18And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

You see, the Holy City is not holy while the Beast is deceiving the entire world from there. God sees Jerusalem as a GREAT WH*RE during that time.

Matthew 23:37-38
“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not! See, your house is left to you desolate.

Matthew 24:2
But he answered them, “You see all these, do you not? Truly, I say to you, there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.”
1 Corinthians 14:38
But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.

You certainly need a refresher course in English.

Note what John Gill wrote:
"Daniel 9:27

And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week…
Sixty nine of the seventy weeks being accounted for, and the several events observed to be fulfilled in them; the angel proceeds to take notice of the remaining "one" week, or seven years, and what should be done within that space of time: a covenant should be confirmed with many; which is not to be understood of the Messiah's confirming the covenant of grace with many, or on account of all his people, by fulfilling the conditions of it, and by his blood and sacrifice, through which all the blessings of it come to them; for this is not for one week only, but for ever; but this is to be interpreted of the Roman people, spoken of in the latter part of the preceding verse..."
(emphasis added)

John Gill, however, thinks this was all fulfilled by Titus. I disagree.

David Guzik Commentary:
a. He shall confirm a covenant: The "he" Gabriel mentions is the prince who is to come mentioned in the previous verse. If we know that the prince's people destroyed Jerusalem in 70 A.D., then we know this coming prince has his ancestral roots in the soil of the ancient Roman Empire.

i. Therefore, the prince who is to come will in some way be an heir to the Romans, even as the final world government is an heir to the Roman Empire (Daniel 7).

b. He shall confirm a covenant with many for one week: The coming prince will make a covenant with Israel for the final unit of seven years, completing the seventy weeks prophesied for the Jewish people and Jerusalem.

i. Covenant with many: The word many here is a specific reference to Israel, not a general reference to a group. The ancient Hebrew says, "covenant with the many."

ii. With this covenant Israel will embrace the Antichrist as a political messiah, if not the literal Messiah. Jesus predicted this in John 5:43: I have come in My Father's name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive.

iii. Taking the description of what would be accomplished in the 70 Weeks from Daniel 9:24, we know that the 70 Weeks are not yet complete. Yet the events promised in the first 69 weeks are fulfilled, indicated that there is a lengthy "pause" in the 70 Weeks, between the 69th week and the 70th week. The 70th week will begin when the coming prince shall confirm a covenant with the Jewish people. These "gaps" or "pauses" in prophecy may seem strange to us, but they are common. Comparing Isaiah 9:6 and Luke 1:31-33 shows another significant "pause" or "gap" in prophecy regarding the coming of the Messiah."
It is just a fact of writing that the "he" must refer back to the nearest person named; in this case the prince of the people that destroyed the temple. Any other interpretation ignores common word usage.

His translation cannot possibly fit Titus, where the temple was destroyed.

And he shall confirm the covenant with many, in one week: and in the half of the week the victim and the sacrifice shall fail: and there shall be in the temple the abomination of desolation: and the desolation shall continue even to the consummation, and to the end.

This translation also makes your theory flaky: WHERE will the abomination be? "IN THE TEMPLE." Sorry, impossible if the temple was destroyed by the people of the prince. Clearly the author had something different in mind. And Paul said the man of sin would walk into the temple and declare he is God. Sorry, but Titus did NOT DO THIS. This verse is not about 70 AD. Paul's description of the man of sin simply does not fit Titus. Paul, as was Daniel and John in Rev. was speaking of a time yet future to us.

There is just no way your theory fits all the pertinent scriptures.

then WHY are you calling for a TEMPLE?
2 Thes. 2
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth F5 that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

Dan 7
8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame

20 And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows. 21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; 22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. 25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. 26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.

Rev 7
4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? 5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue F19 forty and two months. 6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

sorry, but it was PAUL that said there would be a temple. If you imagine all these verses speak of Titus, you have taken leave of your senses. They all speak of the man of sin, the Beast, and Antichrist that shall come in the future; and in the future he will stop the daily sacrifices, and declare that he is God.

Do you imagine that God does not have true prophets - so you refer back to the writings of Ellen White - a proven false prophet? God has set some in the church - and one of these some are prophets.

Did you not like what Jesus said in these prophecies? Everything He said here is backed up in the word of God.

Have I quoted any notes? Paul is very clear in 1 Thes. 5 that the rapture comes as the trigger for the day of the Lord. and John is very clear that the Day of the Lord begins LONG before Jesus comes on the white horse.
The pretrib rapture is written CLEARLY in the pages of the word of God for all to read and head. You can ignore them at your own peril. Jesus is coming FIRST for His bride, in spite of what you believe. But if you believe you will see the Beast first, I am convinced God will honor your belief and you will be left behind.

then WHY are you calling for a TEMPLE?
I am not calling for a temple, as I am the temple of the Lord, because of the Holy Spirit dwelling within.

But do you imagine that the prophets will not be fulfilled? The last temple has yet to be built, and the river that flows from beneath the throne and out of the temple has yet to begin to flow, and the trees that will give their leaves for the healing of the nations have yet to grow.

You imagine that the church is the end all of God's work. But God will have a remnant of Israel. Believe it.

yes, Red.
that's what Christian Zionists say.

we would have a TEMPLE.
keep it up coop.

how's the view from Babylon?
I have been doing some very interesting research concerning the beginnings and progression of Babylon and that system of religion that has effected humanity with humanism for a very long time. It is not at all similar with your understanding and what you propagate on this site and the conclusions are miles apart and no wonder. You have a certain faith that you walk in concerning the end times in relationship to the church and those who claim to be of Israel and are not. You have utilized the cross of Christ to configure an understanding that fits into the conclusions that you have drawn from your studies.

I will say one thing concerning the church that Christ has redeemed and purchased through His shed blood. This body of believers that represents the church and body of Christ, from Pentecost to the present, is not God's chosen people but they are Christ purchased possession. The church was not chosen as a people through Abraham's son Isaac, but they are called out of the world by grace through the precious blood of Christ that was shed for the sins of the world. There is a big difference. I just recognize that difference and don't analyze why.

you encourage the jewish people to place their hope in a nonexistent future time, some future glorious temple.

My faith is in Jesus Christ alone, not an event. I don't have faith in a Beast according to ANY timetable. Jesus + Rupture is not salvation.

1 Thessalonians 5:20
Despise not prophesyings.

Do you imagine that God does not have true prophets - so you refer back to the writings of Ellen White - a proven false prophet? God has set some in the church - and one of these some are prophets.

Did you not like what Jesus said in these prophecies? Everything He said here is backed up in the word of God.

Coop
how dare you post some junk from some weird cult and claim its from JESUS?

2 Peter 2:1
But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.

Remember what I said, for you will see it come to pass.

Here is a prophecy given recently, by Jesus: He is still saying what He said in His word:

Think about what keeps you from realizing this. What comes to mind first when you hear these warnings? Is it your future plans? Is it your pursuit of worldly possessions? Is it your ministry planning? What do you have as an idol that is blinding your ability to see truth? Your anger rises up when people speak of MY soon coming to you. Why? Will you be angry when you find out you have been left behind or will you be sad and filled with great sorrow? What causes you to be so resistant to MY pleadings and how the signs in the world are actually described in MY Book coming into reality?"
