Jesus said in John 15:5 these words, "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing."

My question is, how does the life of Lord Jesus Christ manifest through the Believer?

Is this an honest question from a seeker, or a pretext to post more of Swaggart?

If the Believers Faith is placed exclusively in Christ and the Cross, i.e., The Finished Work, i.e., The Blood of Jesus, the Believer will enter into the Lord's rest that is carried out by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:2, Hebrews 4:1). This is the only way that the Holy Spirit will deliver the Believer into the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, so that the life of Christ is manifested through the Believer by the power of the Holy Spirit, both to will and to do of his good pleasure (Romans 6:3-5, Romans 8:2, 2 Cor. 4:11, Phil. 2:13). IT IS JESUS CHRIST LIFE THAT BRINGS VICTORY...NOT OURS. JESUS SAID, "YOU CAN DO NOTHING WITHOUT ME! EVERYTHING THAT MAN DOES DIES. EVERYTHING THAT JESUS DOES IS BLESSED AND LIVES AND HAS LIFE (Psalm 1:3)!

If the Believer does not understand this, all scriptures become enticing words to the flesh that will be attempted by the flesh to perform (Romans 8:2-3, 1 Cor. 2:4). The Believer now becomes a transgressor (Gal. 2:18).

The question is, "How much value do we place on the Offering of Christ?" Do we feel that the Cross is the answer to every question, the solution to every problem, the strength for every weakness, the life for every death, the salvation for every sin, and the health for every sickness? How you as a Believer look at the Cross, is how you value the Cross. This is very, very serious, so we should think about it very carefully

Romans 8:2-3 is not about the flesh making attempts at performance; neither is 1 Corinthians 2:4. Galatians 2:18 is not about the believer becoming a transgressor.

It's one thing to make comments on the content of Scripture. It's quite another to clearly imply that Scripture says something that it doesn't say, as you've done here.

Simplistic teaching like this leads people to error.

Whatever that means....

Just read the Bible for yourself and don't put all your trust in the teaching of one man.

You are religious and not spiritual (not saved). You will always have a veil and understand the letter only because the Cross of Christ is not the object of your faith.

Most will agree with what you continue to post with error, because it appeals to the flesh. Only very few agree with this man of God teaching.

Why all the focus on the cross which was really a part of the apparatus used in crucifixion, rather than that Jesus rose from the dead?

Sadly, that's what you get when you embrace the unbalanced teachings of a disgraced televangelist instead of reading Scripture for yourself.

The Cross of Christ is as necessary for sanctification as it is for salvation (1 Cor. 1:18).

John 6:53 - "Except you eat the Flesh of the Son of Man, and drink His Blood (i.e., the Cross, i.e., The Finished Work), you have no life in you," (presents the demand that caused "many of His Disciples to go back, and walk no more with Him" [John 6:66]. It does the same presently! This Verse tells us the degree of believing that is required; it refers to the Cross being the total Object of one's belief; failing that, there is no Life in you.)

John 6:66 - From that time many of His Disciples went back, and walk no more with Him.

Sanctifying peace allows the Holy Spirit to deliver the Believer into the death of Christ so Christ life is manifested through the Believer (2 Cor. 4:11, Gal. 2:20-21, Romans 8:2,13, John 14:21). I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me (Who Jesus Is), and gave himself for me (What Jesus Has Done on the Cross for us where the victory was won). Gal. 2:20

If The Believer doesn't enter into the LORD's rest, they die in the wilderness...only a few enter into His rest!

God will not accept anything else from any man or woman but faith (and praise) in His Son Jesus. The scripture says, "THIS IS MY BELOVED SON IN WHOM I AM WELL PLEASE, AND LISTEN TO HIM." God never said that about any Believer.

The Just (The Believer) shall live by Faith. Question? Faith in Who and Faith in What?

Nowhere in these verses does it mention the cross. Are the added words in red your words or someone else? I would rather just read the verses and ponder the meaning without a person attempting to interpret them for me. Keep in mind that the words in red are not scripture but rather someone's attempt to interpret it.

Do you believe in the Rapture?

I still can't believe why someone would hold this disgraced televangelist who is also a serial adulterer in such high esteem by the constant stream of his writings. It could be a cult or something like that.

Not entirely sure about that but generally no. At the sound of the last trump those that are alive will be changed in a twinkling of an eye but I don't believe this to mean that Christians will be spared the tribulation during the end times. Also, the bible makes it clear that those that are caught up in the clouds do not have an advantage of any sort over those Christians who were previously deceased.

The word "Rapture" is not in the bible; but we who are going in the Rapture know that the phrase "caught up" means the Rapture.

This is the problem, you and others do not present what the word of God says in plain words, but you attempt to take parts here and there and mix them with your own opinion to create some standard to "un-save" others, while you yourself do not keep the standard you would teach and lay upon others.

This is not "loving others as yourself" this is loving yourself and allowing mercy for yourself, while attempting to condemn others by a standard you do not keep." Most of you are divorce or remarried because of sin. If you would have had this teaching on sanctification the results would have been different.

So you refuse to answer my question. I know the word rapture is not in the bible, and that 'caught up' refers to it, I just don't think that there will be those who are 'left behind' or the rapture is a means of sparing the church from the tribulation. I have no idea what this has to do with the cross. I have tried many times in the past to actually have a conversation with you but you never answer any questions that I may have or have attempted to show who you are as a person and how you live your day to day life. These one-sided conversations are just an exercise in futility and a complete waste of my precious time.
