I agree. If you look at the scripture there is a scathing warning about not understanding what your doing.

Uh huh but he's a defeated foe. Defeated at the cross. That was my point. He only has as much power in your life as you are willing to give him.

Notice that in Genesis 3 Satan is not given opportunity to speak at all, though the man and the woman both give testimony.
