How was the temple site in Jerusalem chosen?
Two stories come to my mind regarding the land that the Temple in Jerusalem was built on.......

1- it was Mt Moriah where Abraham was to sacrifice Isaac; and

2- it was the threshing floor that King David purchased to stop a plague from God because David was getting prideful and had all the people counted....

I think the correct answer has to do with #2........

good for you! too quick. i was just looking it up to find the detail, and you already answered!
correct on both counts.

the whole drama plays out in 1 Chr 21, the plague is stopped at the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

David chooses this as the site for the temple:
1Ch_21:22 Then David said to Ornan, Give me the place of this threshing-floor, so that I may build an altar in it to Jehovah. You shall give it to me for the full price, so that the plague may be stayed from the people.

Solomon builds the temple:
2Ch_3:1 And Solomon began to build the house of Jehovah at Jerusalem in Mount Moriah, where He appeared to David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

And of course, Mount Moriah is the very place where Abraham went to sacrifice his son Isaac.

I think that piece of ground is also the 'rock', as in the 'dome of the rock' on the temple mount that Muslims believe is the 'foundation stone', the stone from which the whole world was formed. Not sure where they get that, but there it is.
I was up there in Oct last year, but wasn't allowed into the dome - 'muslim only' says the dude at the door. 'okay, okay' says me.

According to Ezra, how many singers were there?
Two hundred. (I googled. :giggle:)

Ezra 2:65 King James Version (KJV)
65 Beside their servants and their maids, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: and there were among them two hundred singing men and singing women.

The Valley of Meggido and according to "who" would be Yeshua/Jesus because He is the appointed anointed Judge over all the Earth.

Just a guess......did I get it right? :D

Let the nations stir themselves up and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; for there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations.
