So, let's talk about the Father's Ways...................

the first scripture that popped into my head was:

Micah 6:8 King James Version (KJV)
8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Everyone feel free to share a scripture that pertains to the Father's Will and His Ways.

My wife and I read Micah 6 today as part of our entire reading of the bible project. Of course, we read this exact same verse as part of chapter 6. The Father must work in mysterious ways or sumpin'.

Yeshua/Jesus came to reconcile us to the Father.

Yet, after we’re saved, we seem to be reconciled to our denominations and not the Father.......

Let’s seek and ask Yeshua/Jesus to take us to our Father. Let’s learn our Father’s ways.

Yeshua/Jesus prayed we would all be one with Him and the Father..

All that Jesus said and did was what He heard and saw the Father do. Doing His word puts us in the presence of all that God is, so that we experience this wonderful passage daily:
Hebrews 4:12-16 (KJV)
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

That eliminates a human error of wanting to back up into His presence like an unworthy slave. If a person is one with Jesus, one is one with the Father, and the Holy Spirit also. There ought not be a tiny hint of intimidation in that presence. Christians have been baptized into Jesus, in the same sence as Hebrews were baptized under Moses into the cloud and the fire. Step one of two. One thing remains, to be baptized by Jesus into the fullness of the Holy Spirit, sent back by Jesus to stand in His stead, with evidence of speaking in tongues (AKA prophecy) (a sign of yielding the least body part to it's taming), and empowered to do His will on earth.

God can turn your tongue to speaking the WORD over everything we encounter day by day. When Holy Spirit has full control of your tongue, you are perfectly positioned.

Consider the context of that passage! God laid out to Israel what no longer pleased Him, having already called Israel to simple truths like loving neighbor, loving mercy, and walking humbly before Him. They failed. Will the Church of Jesus Christ rise above that standard?

Go back and read the book of Micah in one sitting. Plucking a verse out of it leads to false teaching.

With the Holy Spirit are gifts - word of wisdom, word of knowledge, faith, healings, miracles, prophecy, discernment of spirits, tongues, and interpretation of tongues.

There is also fruit of the Holy Spirit- love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance.

The Father has given us His Word and His Spirit to accomplish His Will in us. His Word became flesh and dwelt among us - as many as received Him (Yeshua/Jesus) to them He gave the power (Holy Spirit) to become the sons of God.

It is the Father’s Will for us to receive salvation and eternal life.

It’s the Father’s Will for us to discern spiritual things......just stay in Bible Study and rely on the Holy Spirit to teach you - desire, seek and ask for Truth.

He is a good Father. If you ask for bread, He will not give you a stone.

Yes Lafftur, I am with you on this. Why do people get on these forums and argue about which middle-age reformist was right. All they did was take their erroneous Catholic doctrine and change it a little to start denominations.

Let us all dig deep into God's word. Forget about creeds and denominational doctrines. There is enough of God's word preserved to get us to Yeshua.

16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:

17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.

18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

Relax, I merely pointed out that my wife and I read Micah 6 the same day that Laftur mentioned that chapter in her post, including the verse she quoted from. Not at all sure where you are coming from about plucking one verse out of that chapter. The answer to your question is probably not. Exactly, what is the Church of Jesus Christ?
