Nothing that's over-the-top embarrassing, just something you find a little embarrassing.

Here's mine.

I'm still scared of the dark at 31 years old. Whenever I lay down to go to sleep, I always leave the TV or computer on in my room because I'm too scared to lay there in darkness.

You know that irrational fear some children have that someone or something is going to get you when you're in the dark? Yeah....I guess I never grew out of that.

So that was mine.

Your turn. :p

I have to ask people to repeat themselves a lot because at 42 my hearing is terrible, even with hearing aids.

I think I'm getting over the embarrassing part, it's just super annoying.

My hearing kind of sucks too. And I agree, it can be embarrassing and frustrating having to have people repeat themselves because you didn't understand what they said the first time. That happens a lot with me too. :(

I gots buck teeth y'all! Uh yup!

Actually the problem is my lower jaw didn't grow out far enough, but same net effect... my top teeth stick out in front of my lower ones much more than they should. Also my mother never could get me to brush my teeth like I oughta (I was stubborn as a child) so they ain't pearly white no more.

Yup, put me in overalls and I look the part of a Tennessee hillbilly.

At least you have teeth. Most of mine are gone. Please don't ask why though. :)

I'm losing a few of mine to decay.

Sorry Mom. You tried real hard. Not your fault at all.

Here's a few...
I didn't know the months of the year in order until I was about 17.
I'm terrible at remembering the 6-8 times table. (I still have to use my fingers sometimes!)
Oh, and I'm still nervous to sleep with a foot off the end or side of the bed. (In case whoever or whatever is hiding under my bed grabs it. 😦 )

Listen to Schoolhouse Rock why don't cha!

As for me...I'm not sure. I'm not embarrassed easily, so it can be hard to know what's actually embarrassing about me. I guess I can go by something I would not want to have to explain doing in public, and one of those things is flapping my hands. Spinning and jumping are close second and third place.

I have a fear of the dark still, too. Which is ironic for a night owl. I always have some kind of light on to go to sleep, if I go to sleep when it's dark.
But I've always spooked easily. As a teen I saw a commercial for a horror movie that had something to do with mirrors. So ever since I was afraid of going into bathrooms at night, when everyone else was asleep, because of the mirrors. Especially where I live now as my bathroom has a large mirror. But a few years ago I got tired of the silliness and started forcing myself to go in there as if nothing was wrong. It eventually worked and I'm part it. But it took me over 20 years haha.

I’m a little embarrassed about the fact that I don’t really get what’s going on all the time.

Hmm I've developed a fear sorta of the ocean. I think it's increibly beautiful and majestic, BUT it scares me at the same time. Probably because of the power, the unkown, and the vastness.

I asked for little candy cars on top of my birthday cake when I turned 15. Looking back, I'm like "what in the world was I thinking??"

That's not silly, that's logical. It's a very powerful force, and an environment we were not designed to be in, on, under or over.
