Do you wear clothes with glitter on them?

So.
I'm single, in a cheap-n-cheesy apartment. I was changing my clothes over from washer to dryer in the communal laundry down the hall and I cleaned the lint traps in the dryers. Once again, as is often the case, the lint trap was full of glitter.

My question: Do you wear clothes with glitter on them, and if not, where is all of this glitter coming from?

Hey, what's wrong with glitter???!! :)

I am a big kid who will never completely grow up, and have always loved things that sparkle in the light, such as a t-shirt I own that says "Las Vegas" in different colored crystals (but smaller print, so it's not completely obnoxious, I promise! And, I don't wear it to church!!!) I also love the way snowflakes glisten in the sun!!! But, glitter does hold a special place in my heart because as a child, I wasn't allowed to wear it (my Mom thought it was too messy.) I do many things in life to hold on to my lost childhood wishes, I guess :). Maybe I connect glitter with rebellion!!!

My co-workers have often teased me because I will occasionally wear a touch of glitter hairspray and/or a small dab of shimmery makeup--they LOVE to tease me that I must have a "second job" at a non-Christan establishment, but I PROMISE, that's not the case at all!!! (And, as a seasoned glitter-wearer, I must also admit that wearing glitter can sometimes be "dangerous"--such as if a speck or two happen to fall in your eye--OUCH.)

God made us all different, and some of us were made to love sparkly things. God also made glitter, and some of us were made to like wearing it.

Besides, glitter is cheaper than diamonds.

You forgot to put, "I wear glitter in public, on my clothes, in my hair, and on my face, and I don't care who knows it" as a choice... :D

Would you wear this dress, sported by Venus Hum?

Nuke, I said I like wearing GLITTER, NOT a dress made of flashing neon lights (those belong on a Christmas tree, which I also love, but will not wear.)

You don't know what you're missing.

I can hardly believe you're so afraid of glitter, seeing as you've openly confessed to... let's see... wearing a pink wig? Buying scores of women's magazines at once? Need I go on? :)

All you need now is a good can of silver glitter hairspray.

Did I ever say I've worn a pink wig? I don't remember if I have...but I used to dye my hair all sorts of crazy colors.

Glitter, though? Um...no.

Seeing as you don't remember everything you've posted, it will be even easier to accuse you of more and more outlandish acts. Except... they're probably true. :)

For some reason, I thought you said once that you had to wear a pink wig for one of your shows but I could be wrong...

Well, I never was IN the shows...always doing roadie/backstage stuff behind the people in pink wigs and glitter. I don't think I've ever worn a wig at all...but, not only do I not remember everything, I actually don't remember ANYTHING.

Hi SeoulSearch,

My sentiments, exactly! Last December while traveling in Rajasthan, India, I bought a beret with a dozen or so really tiny glitter mirrors (each about 1/4 inch square) mounted very cleverly into the beret material. Sewn by an elderly Hindu gentleman, using a foot-operated, treadle sewing machine (no electricity in his shop). What a lovely human being! He shared his vegetarian lunch with me as his English-speaking son translated for us.

The name of the village was Pushkar (population about 2,000) consisting of several hundred white-walled houses surrounding a lovely lake about a half-mile in diameter. Do go there if you get the chance. You'll love Pushkar - and its people as well.

This is super funny because I am an Elementary Art Teacher and everyday I have glitter everywhere. And to make it more ridiculous we probably only use glitter once a month. How I have it on me all day everyday I have no idea.

But I do prefer rhinestones or this awsome thing below
