Prayer is one of the most powerful things we have, and I'm asking if you could please pray for me. My name is Karla, and lately I have been struggling with my mental health and my prayer life. At times I feel overwhelmed or confused about my life. I want to be in the will of God, and if I am in it, then I want to have the strength to remain in it and practice wisdom. I feel like all I do is mess up and I don't want it to be that way. If you could remember me in your prayers it would be a true blessing for me. Thank you so much.

Praying for you Karla.

BTW, I ~love~ your user name, because that's exactly what and who you are in Christ (the One who chose to die rather than live w/o you in the eternity to come :)).

That said, none of us who are loved by Him want to mess up, but we all do :( Fortunately, our loving Father is always patient and kind towards us (and I think it always helps to remember that He knew what He was doing, and who He was getting, when He saved you .. and me, PTL).

So stay in His word and in prayer .. Deuteronomy 11:18-21; Psalm 1:1-3, Romans 12:2; 2 Timothy 3:16-17, and always trust the One who loves you so (and has from everlasting), Who always wants the very best for you, and Who always will .. Jeremiah 29:11, 31:3 (listen to Him, to His voice, and always choose to take Him at His word, because it's our enemy's words that are most likely behind your feelings of being overwhelmed and confused right now).

Have you talked to your pastor for counsel, and so he can know how to pray for you as well? .. cf Hebrews 13:17

God bless you! (Philippians 1:6, 2:13; 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24)

Sustaining a spiritual walk with the Lord is often a messy process. Believe me, you are not alone in this because we all are works in progress. I will certainly pray for you too. Glad to have you as part of our family Karla. Welcome to CC.

"Your thoughts have been heard, and I and others are here to encourage and offer our prayers
in the hope that you remain strong in keeping with God in your life. Bless you for acknowledging
the power of prayer, and never doubt this truth. Often our concerns are due to our surroundings
and getting caught up in disturbing news. Let us pray to maintain our own peace and well being,
and to discipline ourselves in practicing God's 'principles' of living our life here in the now. Let us
never doubt, we can sustain our well being by staying focused on what is most important, and that
is to be calm and know all is well, so long as we keep God's 'presence' in our daily coming and going.
I hope and pray the Holy Spirit comes upon your life with renewed strength and courage. Know this,
you can be all you want to be, so long as you want to be all you can be."

Yes I add my prayers and remember 'God did not give us the spirit of fear, He gave us power, love and a sound mind'. God hears our prayers, PTL! God bless.

I’m sorry to hear about your struggles, friend. Be assured I’m praying that God will surround you with His infinite love, comfort and draw you closer to Himself. May He bring healing and sustain you with His strength as you lean upon Him. Also, have you considered counseling for your situation? I know that Focus on the Family can provide a free phone consultation with a licensed counselor if you call this number 855-382-5433.
