If I misunderstood you, forgive me. It was in one of your previous posts. If this thread continues to be such a problem, I'll ask a mod to delete it. I'd rather have it deleted than arguments going on. You're literally taking everything that was said in wrong way.
Funny, that’s what I said about you understanding me.

I’m done soulweaver. Just don’t address me again. Problem solved.

Carry on.

Knowledge builds men’s pride.

And Rosemary, I’m not addressing what we know. It’s who we know.

I said I will exit. Unless you want to further chastise? That was not my intention by the way, but I am direct in my writing. Not emotional.
Hi @stonesoffire
Why are you making that post towards me , I have not said anything untowards you , so please do not come at me ...
I do not even know what you mean about further chastise , I am not involved with your posting on this thread , if I was , I would adress you directly , you have falsely accused me of something , what is it ?...xox...

Only the line with your name was to you Rosemary. Just explaining.

The other entirely to soulweaver. No accusation. I perceive Holy Spirit in your postings and know you sit at His feet. He will lead you.

I think he was talking to me, unless I'm wrong.
I asked him by what audacity he claimed I was not baptized in Spirit, because he talked about the necessity to get baptized in the Holy Spirit to see things his way. Well even if you didn't mean it, you clearly implied it.
I did come across sharply, which I regret and was the only reason I apologized, because I fell short. I guess I lost patience after trying to stop the debate in kind way.

Let me correct myself, here we write tips and ideas that we have found useful in our study...
Please let this not become a thread for argument, although I'm not saying we were arguing. It was supposed to edify.

This is correct! And God wants us to seek, so He can "water". I am not suggesting otherwise by any means.
Also about the secrets in the Bible, and in hand with what you said:

"he that has understanding, let him understand"
This is actually a hint, not a phrase (like I thought when I started reading the Bible when I got saved).
Because duh, it's obvious that I'll understand if I have understanding...?
What God defines as understanding?

Exodus 31:3 And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, (...)

This one might be old for some, but it was something I discovered on my journey so I put it there. :)

But it is the spirit in a person, the breath of the Almighty, that gives them understanding.
(Job 32:8)

Well.....if one drives any time at all to work and back or eve to town and back...you can listen to the entire bible on CD in about 85 hours....so....if one drives thirty minutes to work and then another thirty home you can go thru the entire bible over 4 times a year.....the dramatized version is ok....has all the background sounds etc.......anyway....just a tidbit...and if you drive 2 hours a day...one can listen to the entire bible in abut 5 weeks or so......
i have an audiobible version set to techno music as it's read, but it only has Matthew and the first 5 chapters of Proverbs :D

EDM Audio Bible - Matthew

EDM Audio Bible - Proverbs 1-5

The object here is to get through these books and honestly say you have read them.
no, this is the goal:

Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life:
and they are they which testify of Me.
(John 5:39)

find Christ testified of. that's a command, 'Search the scriptures' and it's a reason for the command, 'they testify of Me'
He is life; to know Him is eternal life.

do that, and then you won't have this:

There is not much you will remember about these scriptures .
;)

Umm...chastise? I don't just really understand? Giving a sense of the word is biblical. Line upon line is simply a comparison, out of the scriptures.

Nehemiah 8:8 King James Version (KJV)
8 So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.

Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

Knowing Scripture is important, I enjoy studying it and finding links between key words too..

Once I was reading Genesis and came across the phrase freind of God and ended up in a whole Bible study for a couple days about what it means to be called a friend of God..

it's amazing sometimes when we learn from His Word.. :)

I agree about the OP. We can help one another, learn tips and resources from one another and that doesn't mean we are denying the ultimate authority of God. We all know He is our teacher, but still we can learn from each other ways to apply different ways of studying.

I do not understand why it seems we are as Christians so eager to find fault in coming together. Perhaps it is merely discernment, but done so reasonably requires balance.

I'm partly to blame. As with all other things we have no choice but get up and press on until we are made perfect.

Leviticus and numbers has my simple head spinning, lol. So I am taking them very slowly.

Lord help me... is my reoccurring thought/prayer.

well anyway

personally, I like to sing scripture

and when something strikes a chord, (forgive the double entendre there) amazing how you can find a theme running through
scripture that just quickens your understanding and your spirit

God repeats Himself over and over and over in different ways

because He is the ultimate Creative being

Always remember this: Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteous for they SHALL be filled. Jesus will never allow anyone to use their words to reveal Himself in a greater way to you. What you learn about the Kingdom of God MUST come from the Holy Spirit to you. Beware of anyone who tells you different. We can share what we ourselves have learned on our journey upon this road, what part of it, if any that you can use should be a matter between you and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit, which is only a different expression of Jesus Himself ,which is only an expression of God Himself, has been appointed by Jesus to teach us ALL things pertaining to the Kingdom of God. Different Christians walk in different depths of His Word. Your desire as a Christian to understand more about the Kingdom of God will always precede whatever Revelation The Holy Spirit chooses to impart to you. There never is and never will be any confusion when it comes to what the Holy Spirit is saying to you. Jesus is always ready and willing to reveal Himself to you. Removing man from this equation is always the problem.
