He said...

Jesus *said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

The only beings going to hell are those whose names are NOT in the book of life. The bible does not tell us how names get entered into the book of life. It just tells us what happens to those whos names are not found in this book.

If you have faith in Jesus Christ, your name is in the Book of Life.

i'm not disagreeing but where is this found in the bible?
Not sure that it is, but let us rest assured that Jesus has taken care of it. After all, He’s preparing a place for us so that where He is, we may be there also. John 14.

"So you are saying that if anyone who doesn't believe just like you is going to hell?"
Why did you fail to talk about the exclusivity of the Lord Jesus Christ? So let's focus on that.

CharliRenee has already quoted the correct verse (but from the NASB, though she is excused for that). But why is it that only Jesus is the way to the Father?

1. He is the eternal Son and Word of God, and is indeed very God.

2. He willingly and voluntarily took upon Himself humanity, though He is divine.

3. He was (and is) fully God and fully sinless Man, who has finished the work of redemption and is now the Great High Priest in the Heavenly Sanctuary.

4. He voluntarily choose to go to the cross and make Himself an offering for the sins of the whole world. There is no other Lamb of God who has taken away the sins of the world.

5. He shed His blood for our redemption, and no one is saved who has not been washed in the blood of the Lamb.

6. There has never been a Saviour like God our Savior, therefore there is no other way to Heaven except through Him. Salvation is purely by God's grace through faith in Christ and His finished work of redemption.

7. Those who reject Him as Saviour, and reject His offer of salvation will certainly face the second death in eternal Hell (the Lake of Fire).

All of this is fully supported by Scripture, therefore it is everyone's duty to search the Scriptures.

"So you are saying that if anyone who doesn't believe just like you is going to hell?"
You will have to be more exact.

Who are you quoting? If you are speaking then you will have to define Hell. And what belief are you referring to.

If you are referring to theological differences then that would help.

But I'm assuming your referring to Christianity in general.

If this is the case then the Christian doesn't say anything but only forwards the message. Hell isn't my opinion or on who goes to Heaven. That is of God. I didn't write the Bible or created the universe as he did.

So if Jesus who claimed he was the only way to the Father then I am just repeating that. If you have a problem with it then you will have to take it up with God.

You could ask why do I believe in the God of the Bible to be able to believe such subjects as Hell. Now this is something I can actually speak on. Then I can list all the reasons I believe it to be true.

And then you will be left with a choice to believe or rebel the information I forwarded to you.

If you rebel then that is your gamble on your eternal destination.

Ok I ask you
Why do I need to believe in Jesus?
Do you think that people who commit moral crimes ought to be punished?
Have you ever done any wrong things?

Ok I ask you
Why do I need to believe in Jesus?
Because those who believe in Jesus are saved (justified) by God's grace and deemed to be righteous (with imputed righteousness). God gives them the gift of eternal life and saves them from eternal damnation.
Do you think that people who commit moral crimes ought to be punished?
Absolutely. A crime is a crime, and the punishment must fit the crime.
Have you ever done any wrong things?
Certainly. We have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. There is none righteous, no not one.

So when a person turns to God and Christ by faith for salvation, that person also turns away from his or her sins and idols. That is called repentance, and repentance leads to the remission (or forgiveness) of sins by God. At the same time, if a person needs to make restitution for wrongdoing, that is also expected. That proves genuine repentance.

The Bible says creation testifies of a higher power, God, who created all things, and shows His attributes, which one of them is love for He provided food, and the means to make clothing, and shelter, so the world is without excuse, and covers the 2 greatest laws love God, and love people, and love is the fulfilling of the law.

Many people were saved before God dealt with Abraham, and the Old Testament, and before they knew about the Savior to come Jesus, which an example is Enoch, Noah, Lot, and Job.

Sin separates us from God, and Jesus Christ is the answer to take away sins.

Only a sinless man can reconcile the world unto God, but no man is sinless so God manifest Himself in flesh and reconciled the world unto Himself in the person of Jesus Christ, God and man in harmony.

Which God manifest in the flesh means God manifest all His attributes to the man Christ Jesus for He is the fulness of the Godhead bodily, and the Spirit in Christ is still connected to the omnipresent Spirit of God for He cannot be separated, and the man Christ Jesus the personal human body of God which He laid down His life for us, and purchased the Church with His own blood.

Which Jesus does not have His own personal Spirit that moves around with Him, for there cannot be a double portion of the Spirit in one place, and an empty space where the Spirit is not at, but Jesus moves through the Spirit and wherever He is at the Spirit is there.

Which makes it easier to understand how Jesus can be God manifest in the flesh.

Jesus takes away the sins of the world throughout the history of the world to those who obey the 2 greatest commandments love God, and love people.

But to those who reject Jesus means they cannot love God, and love people perfectly because they cannot receive the Spirit to be able to love perfectly.

And because they reject Jesus who is sinless, and represents goodness, and perfect in love they cannot have salvation.

And because creation testifies that a higher power created all things and loves people we should believe Jesus is from God for He represents that love.

Also God told us the end from the beginning, and said no person, or religion would be able to do that which He told us the whole history of mankind from Adam and Eve to when the world rebels against God, and Jesus rules for 1000 years and then this physical earth and heaven will pass away.

Which God told us of all the kingdoms on earth.

1.Egypt.
2.Assyria.
3.Babylon.
4.Medo-Persia.
5.Greece.
6.Roman Empire.
7.Ten horn kingdom, the world split in to ten sections with a leader in each section, which will operate for a short space, three and one half years, which is the next kingdom to come.
8.The New Age Christ who will rule for three and one half years when the world rebels against God.

Which God warns us of the new age movement that will occur at the latter times, and their false interpretation of the Bible based on the occult and evolution, and people can still evolve to be greater and spiritual, and Jesus is not Lord and Savior, but a good teacher and love, who evolved to be an ascended master and avatar, and do not acknowledge a personal God, but honor the God of forces, or the power of nature as their higher power, the evolutionary process.

Which the Bible says some shall depart from the faith and follow the new age movement interpretation of the Bible.

The new age movement will pave the way to the New Age Christ and when the people that do not love God follow him then God will end this sin business on earth.

Many are called but few are chosen.

No person says Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

No person comes to the Son unless the Father draws them.

Not many mighty, not many wise after the flesh, not many noble are called.

If a person's heart condition is right God will call them and work with them to get them to the truth.

Some do not have a desire to seek the truth for their heart condition is not right to be called, and some that are called never make it to accept the truth.

People that have not heard the word of God, and do not know about Jesus, will be judged on their belief in a higher power, and their conscience to do right, and if they ask God for forgiveness if anything is amiss for they do not have words from Him, and have not heard from Him.

They cannot dwell with God, and Jesus, until the millennial reign of Christ is over, but they can join the saints after the millennial reign is over if they obeyed the 2 greatest laws love God, and love people.

Jesus told the Jews He came in His Father's name and they did not receive Him, another shall come in His own name and they will receive him.

For the people that do not love God for they loved sin and to be selfish and arrogant will follow the New Age Christ in the future as their savior and that he will provide peace on earth, and cause them to evolve to be greater and spiritual.

Which the Bible says that the time will come the world will not want to endure the truth of the Bible, but want to hear it according to their own lusts, by being self exalting to believe the new age movement and their interpretation of the Bible, and that they can evolve to be greater and spiritual, and believe in no personal God.

They took prayer out of school in America, and taught evolution, and many people in the world believe in evolution, and science says we evolved, and support evolution.

They are on their way and soon all religions will be believed by evolution and not a personal God.

But it had to happen for God has to end this sin business on earth one day, and the time is here, the end time, the latter days, the last days of the last days.

1Ti 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
1Ti 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
1Ti 4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
1Ti 4:4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
1Ti 4:5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

Forbid to marry for a man and a woman for population reduction, and command to abstain from meats, nature worship.

2Ti 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2Ti 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

The new age movement is the future for this sinful world.

The new age movement will pave the way to the New Age Christ.

The new age movement is the beginning of the end for the wicked, and all those who are selfish and arrogant.

Creation testifies of a higher power, and covers the 2 greatest laws love God, and love people, so the world is without excuse, and Jesus is sinless, and perfect in love so He has to be with God, and telling the truth of being the Son of God the Savior of the world.

But Jesus takes away the sins of the world throughout the history of the world to those who obey love God, and love people, but those that have the word of God have the advantage.

Which the Bible says the Jews had the advantage for the words of God were given to them.

And the saints have the advantage for having faith in Jesus and receiving the Spirit which they can be perfect in love.

But there shall be many hypocrites in the end time, and they have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof, from such turn away, ever learning but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

And their hypocrisy is causing many people to not want to be a Christian.

But hypocrites do not change Christianity, nor do they void it out, and Jesus said the hypocrites do not belong to Him.

Good questions.

If Jesus said he was the only way to the Father and he did. And if Jesus was resurrected. And he was. And if Jesus claimed to be God in the flesh. And he did.

Then by the resurrection that proves of his divine nature and everything Jesus said was true. Including the Old Testament because Jesus was trained in the OT and preached from it. Everything hinges on the resurrection when answering the why Jesus question.

God tells us we are all sinners and no one can work their way to Heaven. To be in the midst of a all perfect, holy, just God cannot by his very nature allow imperfection that a unholy evil person would bring.

God is author of morality.

So by that understanding God came in the flesh to be the perfect, all holy sacrifice that only he could provide for the debt of mankinds sins.

He died a terrible death being all human but equally all divine. Just because he loves you and doesn't want you to be separated from him.

Hell is eternal separation from God. Everyone in Hell chooses that destination. No one ends up there by accident.

Conclusion:
There is no greater urgency than to wrestle with who Jesus was. Because by your choice it could have eternal consequences. As Paul once said," And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins."

Everything hinges on the resurrection. Everything Jesus said didn't end with a rotting corpse. The eye witnesses has testified of these things and history has recorded these things.

Choose while it is still today because tomorrow isnt promised. The next hour isnt promised.

i'm not disagreeing but where is this found in the bible?
In the Book of Revelation.. I am surprised you asked with your user name. :) Or maybe you where just testing us??

Revelation 3: KJV

5 "He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels."

Revelation 20: KJV

12 "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. {13} And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. {14} And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. {15} And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

Paul also talked of the Saints he knew. About their names being in the Book of Life..

Philippians 4: KJV
1 "Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved. {2} I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord. {3} And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life."

A person who has committed moral crimes ought to be punished, if they are not repentant of their evil deeds..

And like all other human beings i have done wrong things..

"So you are saying that if anyone who doesn't believe just like you is going to hell?"
In the words of Jesus - “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." (John 3:18)
