I didn't "decide it is not a commandment to be considered by Christians"; I read the Scripture where Paul explains that our relationship with God is based on the finished work of Christ rather than our adherence to the old covenant commandments.

I've addressed this before, but you haven't understood it: Don't paraphrase Scripture, and don't paraphrase my words. You have a nasty habit of getting both wrong when you do.
Your statement "rather than the covenant commandments" is interesting. A covenant is a statement of a relationship, and the relationship can change but this would imply that God can not be trusted with his statements about His relalationship with us. Would you say that God broke a covenant? We are told the old one is obsoltee, does that mean brokien? Just what do you think is obsolete?

Amazing... I just told you not to paraphrase my posts, and you did exactly that. You got my words wrong and totally botched their meaning.

Here are my words again:

Paul explains that our relationship with God is based on the finished work of Christ rather than our adherence to the old covenant commandments.

Those words you skipped make all the difference.

If you keep everything in its context there will be no conflict. The Galatians were being told that circumcision was necessary for salvation, and this is Paul's rebuttal.

Timothy can not circumcised after that, but before that was said.
We can agree on this. The whole context is addressed in Gal. 2:4 "And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:"

All the rest of Galatians 2 and 3 are speaking against those false teachers that were saying their justification (ergo their salvation) lies in their being physically circumcised.

I paraphrased your words in order to get you to explain the part of your quotation that I didn't understand and your answer is not to explain but criticize. Not very christian it seems to me. So, as you are not explaining, let me again paraprhase and you do your thing with that, perhaps I can get you will explain, I'll swallow your scold. Are you saying that Paul is speaking only against executing the old covenant commandments as you call them and I don't dare call those the rituals. Are you opposed to calling those commandments rituals?

Paul is speaking against practicing adherence to the old covenant commands in order to attain or maintain righteousness before God. Paul was not addressing practicing them for other reasons. Yes, I am opposed to calling commandments rituals, because the two words are not synonymous and are only loosely related.
