Bored today so I'm asking what is the worse video game you ever played? I've played quite a few but the worse game recently was a ps1 game called Haven

I'm too busy playing the game of life to give video games any concern.

9CD168EA-A6F1-4A36-81FF-0DD82C4DDCB1.jpeg Ko it’s probably a bit before your time,
But the worst game was tennis of sorts.

2 lines at each side of the screen were the bats, you could only move them up and down the side of the screen.

Then there was a square pixelated block for the ball.

It was sluggish as a .... slug to move the
bats had the ball was invariably missed by either you or your opponents pretty early in the game, so the game didn’t last long!

But it’s pretty much all we had back then!

Ko? Is it a Pong imitation? Actually the limited movement was an improvement compared to the original design called the Brown Box, which predates the Oddesy the first official home console. The Brown Box had a control that went everywhere and was rather difficult to play and it didn't keep score either. I personally dont enjoy games and systems prior to the Atari 2600, 5800 and 7200. I wouldn't mind owning a few for collectors purposes though.

That was the only video game that I played and mastered. I believe that the name was Pong. My twin 2 year old grandsons know more about video games that I could ever hope to learn.

Functionality wise, it was some Kool Aid game for the 2600. It seemed to be completely broken. we never did figure how to do anything in it.

my Grandpa had one of those standalone Pong things when we were little. We played a ton of that when we weren’t watching Superfriends before school in the morning.

I often listen to something else in the background. Especially if I am playing something mindless like an Ubisoft game.

Yeah Ubisoft used to be quite good. I had Rayman for the pc growing up :3 fun....very hard but fun. Are you into older PC games? Baldurs Gate I and II are coming to the switch :)

Product tie in games functionality wise usually aren't too great. Pepsiman was really bad. ChexQuest I hear was actually a competent Doom clone. It had sequels people liked it so much lol

The game that caused me the most disappointment was Europa Universalis.. I started the game and was playing ti cautiously slowly expanding my empire out from England. I had a string of bases west to the Caribbean and all the way east to the Philippines.. I got brave and declared war against China.. That's when things went Wrong..

Within a few turns Chinese Ships where arriving in the Caribbean and on the coast of England.. Man was i not a happy chappy .. Part of the rules of the game where that you could not operate too far from a base.. But this AI China with no bases in Europe or the Americas could send troops all the way around the world within a few turns..

That was the last time i ever played Europa Universalis or any of the additons to the game.. Grrrrr

I'm sure I've played some rotten ones, but I can't remember what they are because they were rotten.

I can talk your ear off about good games though. I can try anybody's patience talking about those.
