You didn't answer my question concerning your responsibility in affirming you are correct when citing scripture to support your point.
All Christians are filled with the Holy Spirit. However, those scriptures that refer to discernment, and that warn, do not believe every spirit but test, are relevant to one's self-defense when they say their interpretation of scripture was due to the Holy Spirit.
When people ask questions, such as that which I inquired of you, and that you have not yet answered, that is the test we're told to perform.
Discernment is vital. You may think all of your responses to queries concerning your scriptural understanding are questioning your understanding of the Holy Spirits leading, however, in truth since you wrote your post in any thread the query is one directed at you personally first.
Responding with what amounts to, "the Holy Spirit did it, said it, " just doesn't cut it. Especially when someone can read your scriptural argument and find error in your interpretation.
Therefore, if you will indulge me, I'll ask my prior question in a different format now. Are you ever wrong in your scriptural arguments and provided proofs?

Relative morals don't provide a basis on which to judge actions as right or wrong. Therefore, you can kill your neighbour with impunity because it's consistent with your morals.
Relative morals make the individual the locus for judgment, not society as a whole and certainly not God.
I didn't say that morality itself is relative, but the particular rules and regulations we use may be relative. The absolute morality is Love. But to apply love we need knowledge; these two together create Wisdom. Each situation requires us to be wise; so we realise that one particular rule appropriate to one situation wont necessarily apply to all situations.
Perhaps the truism, morality is not universal, is what you are looking for?

Hi Whispered, yes. That much is true. The whole creation groans, didn't Paul say?
I would hope not. After I was saved, I made a commitment to only present God's truth as revealed in Scripture, regardless of whatever teachings were out there. I also made a commitment to diligently study the Word of God and did so. I also made a commitment to determine which English translation was based on the true Bible text, and did my due diligence. And every Christian can do the same.
Which English translation did you decide upon?
Also, are you aware there is no, original, available for such comparison.
