The order of the followng events in the books of Luke and John does not match.
do you have any idea?
Luke 24: 1-12
Mary came to tomb; She met angels; She informed it to disciples; Then Peter came to tomb;
John 20: 1-18
Mary came to tomb; She informed Peter; Peter came to tomb; Then Mary met two angels and Jesus; Mary then informed it to disciples;
Luke wrote: Mary met angels and informed disciples BEFORE Peter came to tomb.
John wrote: Mary met angels and informed disciples AFTER Peter came to tomb.
Luke 24:1-12.
It is obvious that Mary and the others were at the sepulchre, and Jesus was not in it, and the 2 men in shining garments had to be angels, and then they went back and it was told to the eleven disciples which Peter is one of them, and then Peter went to the sepulchre as it is written by Luke.
John 20:1-18.
And it appears like how you stated with these scriptures that Mary went to the sepulchre then told Peter, then he went to the sepulchre, and then Mary seen 2 angels and Jesus as written by John.
Seeing 2 angels does not mean it is one incident, for she can see 2 angels, and then tell Peter, and then go back to the sepulchre and see the same 2 angels which is what happened.
For in Luke it does not state that Mary went back to the sepulchre after telling Peter to say anything about 2 angels, for if had mentioned she went back it probably would of mentioned the 2 angels again.
And in John it does not say she seen 2 angels when she first went to the sepulchre, but went and told Peter, and then went back and seen 2 angels.
But because John does not state she seen 2 angels the first time does not mean she did not see them he just did not mention them, but Luke covered that, and John covered she seen them the second time she went back.
Luke says angels at the first, and John says angels after Peter went there, and then she went there.
Luke says 2 angels before telling Peter, and John says 2 angels after Peter went there that Mary seen.
But I do not believe it is a contradiction, but Mary went to the sepulchre and saw 2 angels, and went and told Peter, and then Mary went back to the sepulchre and seen the same 2 angels which is what happened.
But Luke does not mention Mary going back to the sepulchre and seeing the 2 angels after telling Peter.
And John does not say anything about the 2 angels when Mary first went to the sepulchre before she told Peter.
But that does not mean there is a contradiction.
There is no contradiction but Mary went to the sepulchre and seen 2 angels, and then went and told Peter, and then went back to the sepulchre and seen the same 2 angels, and then she seen Jesus.
But Luke did not mention Mary going back, and John did not mention Mary seeing 2 angels when she first went to the sepulchre.
But that does not mean it is a contradiction for the 2 together tells the whole story.
Why didn't Luke mention Mary seeing Jesus the first time, if seeing the 2 angels was one incident by Mary.
Just because a writer does not write some things concerning the whole incident does not mean there is a contradiction, but some things they might not mention.
But we know the whole story by Luke and John.
