Thank You for causing all of us to come to the end of ourselves - it's how we find You! Help this family seek Your Face and Your Forgiveness for their sins. Cleanse them with the Blood of Your Son, Yeshua/Jesus and save them. Help them to receive the Body of Yeshua/Jesus as the Righteousness of God for them.

I'm a great believer that God helps those who help themselves, but that praying helps too.
Can your bf go somewhere and get help - in a rehab clinic maybe? Sometimes, being near or living with our loved ones who are addicted isn't a good idea. Their loved ones tend to enable them and give into them usually. They need to get separated from you for a while, so they can get the help they need. Addicts also need time on their own to sort out their usually many myriad problems, and to think about their life and what they want to do with it.
There are many ways to save money, I'm going to start a thread on this very soon. Can you apply anywhere for social security or an interest free loan perhaps? You could also look at getting a debt consolidation loan to get you out of trouble, though you have to pay a small fee to set up the loan.
Life is hard. Never give up! There is always help out there - you just need to stay strong and find out what type of help is available. I'd also ring a free counselling or help line if I were you, as talking about your problems to someone is a huge step forward.
Dear Lord, please help GHP & her fella to gain help with his addiction. Relieve them of their financial troubles, & give them the courage to seek the help they need. Amen.
